Yeah I definitely thought that too, and the fact that she didn’t hesitate to step in during the abu$e scene shows how much she hates it. Even a human with morals would be scared to jump in immediately and help but she didn’t think twice, same with season one when the dad was abu$ing his 2 kids. She didn’t think twice to go chasing after him.

The question here should not be 'what' GU said to JW. The question is 'why' did she say she wants affection, IMMEDIATELY after JW asks her to tell him if anything happens.
