pkbjorn35 that title belongs to Sean Connery. Nobody will ever be better than the original Bond. Sean Connery did so well that Ian changed his novel version of Bond to fit Connery's style. Bond went from being British to Scottish and the in novel description was changed to describe Connery. I have the original prints and the revised with the changes. As far as Ian (the creator of Bond) was concerned Connery is the best.

Goldeneye was my favorite bond movie, with Skyfall being no.2 and Casino Royale no.3. I loved Goldeneye, but Skyfall was really amazing. Also, pretty random but they look amazing at 60fps using SVP4.0, I watched all like that.

skyfall did it so well because a lot of people didn't like quantum of solace. I do not know why though... I mean allright not all james bond movies are the same, but that is what makes it great. A lot of people didnt like die another day either because of the ''more than usual greenscreen/CGI''. I seriously love all the movies. And die another day is one of my favorites!!
My Favorite bond movie is On her Majesty Secret Service. Think about it, not full of gadgets it had an interesting and developed plot, you cared about the characters in The movie. Bond was put in the situation which he had to rely upon his training and personality only. And two other considerations, one it had the best skiing scenes ever filmed in a Bond movie. And Tally Savalas was outstanding as the arch villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld. Oh yes let’s not forget the song “We have all the time in the World” sung by Louis Armstrong.
Craig is the first Bond who is younger than the movie franchise itself. Yeah well I highly doubt he will be the last since the franchise only gets older. This barely passes as a fact... not least an interesting one

Point 7 is incorrect. There were entire sets of Bond DVDs available in multiple Chinese cities very openly when I was last there 2002-2005.

I never liked Daniel Craig as Bond and I most probably never will, but most regrettable is that the Craig-Bond has nothing in common with the way Bond was portrayed since Dr. No in 1962. Tempora mutantur, nos et mutamur in illis. But Bond stays Bond, and Craig is not it in any way! One may argue that they are good action movies based on Bond, ok, but they are surely not Bond-Movies!
Also, the Planet Ocean is a sub model of the Seamaster. It is called the Seamaster Planet Ocean. There actually is no separate watch model called a Planet Ocean. Nor is there one called Seamster. Lastly, it is the same watch. It just looks different due to the shadow.

Did that guy say Moonraker, the film, was based on the novel? Um, no, I've read that novel. Only the title and the name of Drax make their way into the movie.
Yeah, the Moonraker novel takes place entirely in Britain rather than the USA, Outer Space and Brazil; in the novel the Moonraker is a V2 rocket fitted with a Soviet supplied Nuke being aimed at London rather than the code name for a plan to gas the entire earth with some nerve toxic. Hugo Drax in the novel is a German count who served as a Nazi from the Werwolf commando unit instead of an American billionaire. if I remember correctly instead of launching Drax into space Bond redirected the atomic rocket to hit Drax's submarine in the North Sea in the novel.

One thing I had noticed as a sort of mistake: At the end of Casino Royale when Bond shoots a villain, a loud echoing boom, as if from a large-caliber rifle is heard. Bond emerges holding not a large rifle, but a suppressed .45 MP5.
