Since you used real hair for the curly hair, why didn't you dip it? I would have come back curly correct? I have some curly Malaysian hair I'm using and I have to wet it daily....just wondering what your concern was. I don't want to miss something, I didn't consider.

What curly human hair do you recommend
I did my goddess locs with synthetic crochet hair and it's doing just fine but I see what you mean by it tangling and being shitty. I've had crochet hair that was complete trash but the one I found I can use heat on it so it's not bad for me.

You should do a video show how much hair to feed in for different size braids. Like lay out how much for a small, medium, large, jumbo. I never know how much to add how thick nothing 🙃

They definitely do not be honest in the tutorials about how the curly hair will kink up and pretty much be unmanageable after a while. I haven't done it myself but I have watched a few videos from hair stylists I trust on here who tell the truth about how long they last. I don't think anyone has found hair that one can actually dip into the water unless it's the braided hair itself.
And please don't beat yourself up about your parting. Most people can't even part one piece of their hair on their head. You are doing an entire hairstyle on yourself with no help. You should be giving yourself flowers for even being able to do that. And you explained everything perfectly.
