The Golden Years 2 - Episode 24: Katrina Esau

The Order of Boabab has been bestowed on Katrina Esau for the preservation of her indigenous language known as N/u in 2014 by the presidency.
The 80-year-old Katrina Esau appreciates praise but appeals for support to keep her mother tongue alive. Her granddaughter Claudia, her son and the members of the tiny N/u language school continue to battle against all odds. Today, on The Golden Years, we don't just celebrate her work, we do as she asks. She needs our support.
