Tonight, the Birmingham Zoo community is mourning the loss of Akili who was tragically killed when she was being introduced to her new companion, Josh.
I know right ! This is carelessness all the way ! The zoo was so selfish ! They should have inquired with The Lion Whisperer. The zoo staff are _not_ knowledgeable enough to be calling when it's right to introduce a new mate ! They make me so sick ! What a cruel , tormenting and painful decision they made ! I was planning on taking my son in the next month , but there is no way I ever would now. It is so heartbreaking. Noone on standby with a tranquilizer gun ❓❗ So selfish and unknowledgeable!
That's really a shame. Maybe he thought the new lioness are responsible for his former partner being gone. It all must have happened very quickly if there was no time for them to intervene and save the lioness.
Don't they possess the intelligence to stand ready with a stun gun?
