I am reading the Smart Money Smart Kids book and we are starting the Commission system soon. Our oldest was never in an allowance system and participated in our budgeting journey, now that he is 19 is in the process on budgeting himself, we missed that one. So a new journey ahead.

“Who are you to teach your kids about money” - Love it! Don’t wait for someone else to teach your kids about money, it may never happen. Lead by example...they are watching you - the good, the bad and the ugly.

The only thing better than Rachel punking people, is when she sends George out to do it. LOL. They make a great team.

I think that there should be more prank segments on the show. What a great way to spread joy and make us laugh! Happy April Fool's Day!

My dad was a rock mason and I would go to jobs with him often when I was little, the man that was overseeing the whole build asked if I wanted a job I could pick up cig butts and he would give me a nickel for every one he gave me a coffee can I brought it back and he just laughed and handed me a 100$ he's like I'm not counting all those here kid 😂😂😂

Tell nana to open a college fund for the grand kids instead of rewarding them now. Her money will live on way after she's been gone.

With the example of Nana paying more for chores, I entirely agree with what your guest says. A further conversation about the direction of parenting needs to happen - it takes a village. Perhaps there is a way for Nana to pool resources with Mam and Dad or for Nana to give the money to Mam and Dad directly. If the adults are all on the same page/sane page (!), parenting, boundaries and discipline should all be more consistent and helpful to everyone involved x
