Dear Anurag, the work you are doing is just amazing. I really hope you can continue with your videos, they are by far the best (to my knowledge) educational resource about ADS. Thanks a lot!!

At 10:32, in "choose view for Simulation" menu, there are three options: emcosim, layout and schematic, and you told about difference in choosing "schematic" option and "emcosim" option. When one can choose "layout" option and how it is different from "emcosim" option.

Layout is not a valid choice for cosimulation, it appears in the list as there is a Layout view in your cell.
You can select between emmodel, schematic or emcosim depending on what you want to simulate in the test bench.

Are you able to generate a schematic version of the layout? For example, automatic creation of the transmission lines as MSTUBs etc. I’m having issues setting up my cosim properly. I need to somehow have a schematic model to co-sim my design. My s parameters currently make no sense, -198db. Something is failing to connect but I can’t figure out what

Hello, I hope everyone is well. I'm trying to perform the co-simulation of a rectenna circuit, we have elements such as the diode in the circuit. When I simulate in the schematic I have a great s11, however in the co-simulation it works very badly. Do you know what could be happening? Furthermore, I cannot optimize the circuit with co-simulation. Thank you in advance for your attention

Thank you for the informative tutorial. Can cosimulation be performed with DGS?

      Hi Rewaa,
Yes, of course it can be performed with DGS...😊

@@BhargavaAnurag Thanks for your reply. When I check the 3D em model it appears with a complete ground and defects on the ground don't appear. Should I do any extra steps?
I draw the schematic then generate the layout, in the layout I made the changes on the ground.

Thank you for your informative videos, sir. They have been tremendously helpful for me in learning the tool and have greatly contributed to the success of my projects. I request your guidance in creating a detailed video explanation on substrate and its setup. Thank you.

Glad I could help. However, I am not clear on your substrate question but you can ask if there is any specific query in your mind.

How to check the output voltage Vs frequency graph, output voltage Vs input power, and efficiency Vs load resistance? In ADS for RF energy harvesting circuit

Hello, I hope everyone is well. When I'm moving on to the schematics, my layout project is on a much larger scale. Do you know what could be happening?

You can adjust the layout look-alike symbol size

HI Anurag, Nice Video. Thanks for Keeping up the good work.
The EM Co-simulation does the momentum simulation every time when we re-simulates the schematic for tuning. Is there any way avoid that , as we are changing only the SMD Values.
    Bit confused in some points
    1) If I would like to Tune the SMD Values from the Test Bench, with the View selected as EMco-sim. Whether the values are visible in the Simulation Variable setup of the Test Bench.
    2) I believe the schematic and the EMco-sim view generated from the Layout are independent to each other, or does the change in Emco-sim optimization affects the value in schematic
    3) I thought they will be linked only when we do Layout-->Generate/update Layout
    Thanks Again,
    Theepak s

There seems to be something wrong with your setup, Momentum will not be run if you are changing only SMD values. I would recommend you to contact Keysight Europe tech support team and they can help you over live session to resolve all the issues and answer your queries.
