I just listened SOLO HARMONIUM played by Acharya Jayanta Bose. He is genious in indian classical music. He should be honoured padma bhusan.we should project him to the people as much as we can to establish his versatile contribution in indian classical nusic.i am proud of this gentleman.
My God! NEVER heard before...never IMAGINED possible! This gentleman is from another planet! The supposedly "simple" harmonium has been "transformed" into a bullet train.
Excellent command on music, tune and dexterity of fingers. fastest but melodious. I watched many harmonium players in the western India supporting classical singers like begum parveen Sultana and late pandit Bhimsen Joshi with support on harmonium from late Appa saheb jalgaonkar and Mrs. vasanti maphsekar but after watching pandit jayant Ghosh I have no words to praise his skills and mastery and melody.
