It is easier to ask for forgiveness from the Lord Jesus Christ. It is not as easy to forgive those who have trespassed against me. I work hard on forgiving those who have wounded me. Thank you Bishop for your words and insights. They help so much 🙏❤️

Jesus said, 'Blessed are the Peacemakers.' I have too often been a chattering parrot who would not let others live in peace. Being reminded I will have to give an account of every idle word has never been one of my favorite sayings of Jesus. Still, His only motive has always been Love for us.

The most, by far, important thing Jesus did, was make provision for the forgiveness of sin. Without the death and resurrection of Christ, there would be no forgiveness of sin.

My question about forgiveness is : If we forgive someone for a serious sin against us, does that also mean we should trust that person again? If we "forgive" but not " forget" , is that still true forgiveness?

If everything is a god's plan then Jesus did it because of that plan and free will does ot exists. So everything that is done is done for the god and because of his will.

Yes. God, the Father, is in 100% charge-of all things, of all ppls. When this realization set in, the heavy yoke that I carried became weightLESS. Amazingly, even those who transgressed against me, I forgave because it was God’s will for them to hurt me. Just as it was God who put it in my heart to hurt others. Therefore, too, in judging others, I was judging God. I KNOW that I sound bizarre/crazy even: hurting others and others hurting me is hurting God. That conviction brought me to my knees and God gifted to me HIS faith to believe in Jesus-a man who hurts neither God nor man. God then DREW my repentant soul and prostrated me at the feet of HIS son.
Jesus tells us in John 6:44 that NO man can come to Him (to Jesus) unless God, the Father, DRAWS him (man).
Jesus saw the WORK of the FATHER in me and saved me unto himself. My hope is His Way, His Truth, His Life (John 14:6) will allow my loved ones a little corner in God’s abode for HIS son, Christ Jesus.
May God have mercy on our souls. Blessings.

Jesus said: “NO man can come to Me unless God, the Father, draws him” (John 6:44).
God draws NOT; Jesus saves NOT.
God must initiate HIS mercy to first convict us of our deceitful/wicked hearts (Jeremiah 17:9-10) to bring us to our knees. HIS gift of faith to us-to believe in HIS son-DRAWS our prostrated souls to the feet of HIS son. Then Christ Jesus will see the WORK of the Father in us and save us unto himself. Jesus as the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6) will take my loved ones to a tiny corner in His Father’s house of many mansions. My supplications are for His mercy and compassion.

I thought the Catholic church omitted the narrative of the woman yaken into adultery.. only one sin that is not forgiven the blaspheming the holy spirit. Get into the complete narrative.

Jesus is believed to have lived in eastern Mediterranean on a strip of land now known as the Palestinian/Israeli Strip between present day Lebanon and Egypt. It is estimated today that 500,000 individuals lived in this region at the same time of Jesus. The New Testament, written roughly 400 a.d., describes Jesus's life from his apostles memories. In fact both bibles, the Old and the New, focus solely on this region with the Old Testament delving further into Africa and more northerly into Mesopotamia. Now here's the kicker for me! There were an estimated 500 million other humans living on this planet at the same time that are never mentioned by God. Assumably all God's children. China conducted a census in year 1 that identified 56.7 million humans living in their territory just a short distance to the east. India, just a short distance southeast are estimated to have 75 million humans. Then we have 250 million in Africa, 56 million in Europe, 55 million in south america and 35 million in north america. Why would a God ignore 500 million of his children spanning the planet for just 0.5 million mixed arabians and jewish peoples. Sorry this whole Islamic, Jewish, and Christian stuff is made up. 👋😎 That's my two nickels.

It's possible the Jesus taught in the bible is a myth. A combination of several Jesuses that existed as ordinary people. Each of which had some of the qualities described. And the writers under God's inspiration concocted the ideal we know as THE SON OF GOD. Surely a very useful teaching tool. But as a perfect and historical individual ????? Maybe not so much. In any case in my opinion it makes no difference. Fiction is as powerful a tool for influence as fact.
