    This is a paradise for me as I learn by repetition and best in a low stakes situation. The videos are laying a foundation that is calming so when I need an adjustment I there is no trepidation.

    Thanks so much for putting up the most comprehensive video or for that matter written material that I have seen. I have a huge collection of fitting books and none cover these adjustments the way that you have. I have prominent shoulder blades and it has been a struggle for me to find instructions that cover all of the details. This does that. Great work.

    This is a good technique for me because I generally find I get that choking feeling. I have made a down and dirty adjustment by adding to the back shoulder seam, and taking away the added amount from the front. I’m going to do this with my favorite tee shirt pattern I think and see if the shoulder, neck, and sleeve feel more comfortable.

      I think what you’ve been done Ing is also a good solution! Whatever works.

    I am both amazed and happy to see how you deal with those pesky shoulder darts by bypassing them. Am I correct in assuming that when you true up the foldline, you extend the fold line straight up from the original? And I was hoping and anticipating that the armhole area adjustment is the same basic concept as the raglan sleeve one.

      If I understand your question, yes! Fold your dart, no need to change its position. Just the cut edge needs trueing. Thanks Barbara!

      @@SewSewLiveI knew I didn’t explain very well what I was thinking about 😏. I meant the center back fold line.

    Very interesting changes. I think I need to watch again; I’m a little confused. Are these different options for solving the same problem?

    • @SewSewLive
      @SewSewLive  Рік тому +2

      They are the same problem in two different places; high and mid back (called Low). And then the first ones are for a pattern that is on the fold and the last for a pattern that has a center back seam.

    I turn off the captions off and then they turn on again. I am not sure what's happening.

      That happened to me recently too. It’s a UA-cam bug. 😑
