Bondi Rescue follows the work of the elite professional Lifeguards who patrol Australia’s busiest beach. This is Australia’s real life Baywatch! Taking the viewers on their journey through mass rescues, drownings, resuscitations, shark sightings, and all number of the weird and wonderful experiences Bondi Beach dishes up.
In #BondiRescue the audience sees the action through the eyes of real characters and #lifeguards like Hoppo, Deano, Reidy, Jesse, Maxi, Whippet and Harries, as they catch thieves, perform CPR, make drug busts, break up fights, and even handle a navy bomb that washes ashore one afternoon. Every year throws up new and completely unexpected challenges, and how lifeguards adapt is what makes Bondi Rescue a show that’s about much more than swimmers being saved in the surf.

Bondi should put an "instructional picture" sticker of what it should look like laying on the board so the lifeguards have an easier time explaining how to get on. Like put one facing the outside on each side of the board. And then you guys can just point to it if needed. Esp with all the different languages you guys probably encounter at Bondi, it just seems like it could be an easy solution!

Hey Bondi Lifeguards... to clearly indicate how a rescuee needs to properly position themselves on the rescue boards, is it possible to paint an outline of a body on the board? Face at the front end of the board, hands here on the rope, feet toward the back of the board, etc?
An outline of a small child should suffice, eh?
This could possibly help when language barriers are present.
IDK, just a thought?
Also, is it possible to paint your rip-tide and Blue Bottle areas in brighter colors to get more peoples' attention?
Just a few thoughts... I'm not an expert, for sure, but these are just a few ideas that crossed my mind whilst watching this vid.

Idk if you have ever been to a beach before.. But first of all, rip tides move, for the most part. Second, the lifeguards can't tell the Blue Bottles to stay in one area. Have you never watched a video about the ocean?

They were talking about the second half of their comment when they talked about colouring riptide and bluebottle areas a different colour, which wouldn’t work very well for the reasons stated above.

Burying in the sand can be very dangerous n life threatening. If it is a hot day most likely the sand is very hot. Burying a body in the hot sand can raise body temperature quickly, which can cause seizures. I saw this on Mexican beach!! Don’t do this. Ever!!!
