Try mixing this with gelatine to make bait. 50 grams of gelatin would be about right for the amount of mix shown in the video. It should have a rubbery consistency which will hold a hook well. Set the mix in ice trays or a shallow dish. For Parore (NZ name) boil up some green vegetable for the base of the mix and add green food colouring. Omit fish flavour.
Thanks...Only problem with a sauce bottle is you need to make a big batch. Not sure how long it will last, might need to store in the fridge. I tend to use the lot over a few days of fishing👍🎣
It actually works quite well, but I have been adding a bit of gelatine powder to the mix lately to help with a better consistency. Recommended by one of my subscribers. I guess we can always make things better.👍🎣
This is such a great video 👍 love to see it
Smart man never even thought about that 👍 love the vids too
Thanks mate, much appreciated 👍🎣
Cant find the tuna oil online. The stores that say that they have it have a problem with payment processing.
I probably bought it at BCF... any tuna oil will do👍🎣
instead of garlic poder ould u use onion powder
?
Sure, give it a try👍🎣
Good on ya, great idea.
Thanks mate, save some money, and it definitely works. If you want it to be a bit thicker, add some gelatin powder 👍🎣
Can you please show us using while fishing 😲🎣
Sure will, l just don't do a lot of soft plastic fishing
@@axemansfishingadventures does it have to be sea salt or any salt?
I prefer sea salt, as its a bit courser, and stays of the soft plastic longer, but it wouldn't matter if you used normal salt👍🎣
@@vickykenny1328 non iodized salt.
Use some oil add cloves if garlic overnight
Dripped the oil in softbait

The bait should dissolve slowly in the water creating a strong scent trail. Parore is the same as Luderic or Black bream in Australia.
McKenzie's gelatine powder is made in Australia and packed in 100 gram containers.
Sounds like a great idea...thanks👍🎣
Mate empty sauce bottles maybe better to put your mix in bigger opening at top .Liked your dyi

Doesnt look very sticky. Looks like it would wash straight off.
