Free Style Final Polo Match 2022 | NLI-A vs GB SCOUTS-A | Part-2 | ONE LIFE PRODUCTIONS
Polo Match is one of the oldest cultural sports in Gilgit-Baltistan.
In earlier times this match was a match of kings. The kings of that time used to play and watch this game with great interest. With the passage of time, this ancient game also became popular among the people.
This game is freestyle, There is no interruption and the player plays as he pleases.
Six players from each team participate in this game. In the past, this game used to have a target of nine goals. With the passage of time, this game was also changed and now one hour time has been added to this game.
There is an interval of ten minutes after half an hour. If any team scores 9 goals till the first half then it is considered as successful. In case of not scoring 9 goals till the first half, one hour match is played.
Today's game was also played on time and the team that scored the most goals in one hour won.

Polo is always more about the horse than the man. Same happened here GB scouts were using thoroughbred horses against the local breed horses of NLI. And the NLI horses seem exhausted towards the second half of the match and there on it was a piece of Cake for scouts coz they sustained the pressure with their better breed of horses. Same is happening in Shandoor Chitralis are simply using better horses with better stamina and winning for the last many years.
