I can't wait for the Finale! Super pretty look...I need to try Jones Road. And, here in MN spring was very late putting the garden about 2 weeks behind. Usually by now the Peonies and Lilacs are in full bloom...it has been sunnier and warmer so hopefully they explode soon!
I do wish we could do peonies and lilacs here (though I did see some Lilacs at Trader Joes - being able to grow them would be so nice!)
This was so fun to watch! Loved everything, you “keeping it real” by wearing whitening strips while doing make up, chatting about a tv series, and and of course, the make up tips. I haven’t seen Succession, but love hearing about shows. I really like the Jones Road, and now am thinking of trying the new CC concealer.☺

Hello there I'm out here in New Jersey where the spring couldn't be any prettier I don't remember spring being this beautiful in a long long time. I don't watch succession . And yet again Jones road pulls through as one of the brightest cosmetics on the

I’m in upstate NY, definitely autumn-like. It was 40 degrees this morning; 61 and sunny now at 2pm but windy and chilly. I do love this weather though. I don’t know anything about the show you’re talking about but I do enjoy watching you put on make up lol. Everything looks beautiful as usual and thank you for trying on that blush stick at the end. I was really hoping you would lol.

Thanks for this video. I see so much conflicting opinions about the wtfoundation. It is usually from influencers way too young to wear it. I am 50 and I swear when I turned 45 every bit of oil and moisture left my body. I use bioidentical hormones and nothing touches the dryness. I think I am going to try Jones road . Maybe it will actually give my skin the oils it needs. I love your channel and honesty. I can't stand it when I see influencers love everything they try. You keep it real.😀

Talking in depth about any series is risky. For those who haven’t watched it has no relevance and doesn’t make for interesting listening. I would however be very interested in hearing if there’s a particular series you like and a brief synopsis would be great. Not many things better than finding a new great series to settle down to! I enjoy police procedurals and highly recommend Vera, Happy Valley, Unforgotten & The Fall. Probably my all time favorite is River staring Stellan Skaarsgard (sp?) which is about a detective trying to find out who murdered his partner who he was in love with. Most beautiful surprising love story ever, in my opinion.

I think it's possible that if Menkyn is actually certified, he may not have much say (I think it's Justice that does) and Mattson could take over without having an American CEO. But...the show is called Succession, and the theme was an aging patriarch testing his offspring, against each other, against challenges & obstacles to see who take his place. It would be a bit of a letdown if the producers didn't give it to any of the children. They certainly could go that way, though and I am afraid I'm going to be disappointed with the conclusion - lol
Succession was my jam. I’m disappointed that’s it’s over but so enjoyed it. The Gilded Age on MAX is excellent.
Oh - I'll look out for that. The SATC re-boot "And Just Like That" is starting up on the 22nd!

Oh - I spent two weeks in June many years ago in NO and I'd never been so moist in my life. I was there for a week maybe six weeks prior and it was lovely. Love the architecture and the FOOD!
Not tired of fresh. Perfect description and so re”fresh”ing. I can handle gray rainy weather but we have had a long cold wet winter. Finally spring has arrived. Finally! Yes! Chat about movies or serieses (lol). I’m a nostalgic movie fan, but watch some of the new releases if storylines possess character development without exceptional violence (too much, do we not have anything else to offer?). So many great streaming choices these days. Succession reminds me of work. My 41 year career catered to multigenerational wealth. Can’t stereotype, but certainly have worked with patriarchal controlled enterprises and their well educated, spoiled kids, and layers of dysfunction amongst siblings and extended family and a lot of “baby daddy, baby momma” messes. I nod my head each and every turn “yep…that’s familiar!”, constantly projecting what will happen next based on certain experiences. Let’s see if your assessment pans out. Daisy Jones and the Six was amazing.
Ohhh...so you know this archetype! It must be fun to be removed from it instead of being directly exposed to it - lol. I agree about movies these days seems like 80% of current releases are Marvel films. Ugh. Those are fun once in while (remember Superman and Batman?) but not three times a year. I'm finding movies made for cable are where the more human, character-driven stories are now.
@@TheHoodedLid Sometimes I miss the real time drama. Lol. There are family members you can relate to or empathize with. I have strong empathy. Sometimes to a fault. Oh Yes, Superman and Batman with fewer special effects.

It seems that Jones Road is one of those brands that takes some time to warm up to. People have had mixed opinions but are now starting to like it. Maybe there was a learning curve with how to use it? The makeup looks beautiful on you. I love your blouse by the way!
They do have a couple of unusual products, the Miracle Balm and the foundation (I have not tried their sticks yet). So, I think one has to be open minded about it!

Have you tried Jones Road face sticks for concealing, color correcting, etc? And what are your thoughts on the bronzer?
I haven't tried the face sticks yet. I have a video on the bronzer - two shades and both lovely!
Roman is dreadfully flawed no doubt. But he is smart, smart, smart. Down the road he'll be the one leading the charge. He's always the one who is 3 steps ahead...Such a brilliant mind- mostly.
I have no idea what movie series you’re referring to but it sure sounds interesting amd distracting from the ugly events of the real world. Now I wish I could see it. Love movie chat. I tend to see movies that aren’t mainstream and rarely find people who have seen them. Used to make a day of going out to breakfast, book storing, and seeing a movie on Sunday afternoon. Now I live far away from such opportunities. So chat on. Love it. The weather is unusually sunny. I live in the BC climate.

I'm so glad you enoyed it. It's on HBO (which is now called MAX) and it's the last season - Sunday the last episode! I'm sure BC is lovely this time of year with everything in bloom! Yes, as always, skincare and sunscreen goes on first!
Well, I watch certain TV shows, but not Succession, so …I wanted to hear about the products, but even following the transcript, it was hard to skip to the makeup stuff. So this one was not for me!
Does the foundation ect. dry down. Ive heard it stays tacky?
I always powder this and I find it does dry down
I am intrigued by Jones Road. The Succession children are incompetent and entitled and would benefit from real jobs with other employers. They would destroy WayStar, which would be a very good thing. So, rock on, kids!
They truly would destroy it - backing up that President was very dangerous and if investigated, they could lose their license to broadcast - which might also be a fun ending!

I think they've all done hideous things on Succession. They are all ugly and damaged on the inside for the most part.However, it will all boil down to Kendall, who is probably the best of a bad bunch. It was a great show, I've been completely addicted to it. I'll miss Tom and Greg the most, they were almost a satellite show on their own. They certainly had the best humour/lines out of everyone. And I'll miss the theme tune which is an absolute banger. Love from the U.K. xxxxx
That theme is so haunting - I love it!!! Yes, Tom and Greg were the emotional relief duo - but it also showed a side of Tom that was more human and less robot. A bit of Batman & Robin!
I agree that Daisy Jones isn't a likable heroine. I preferred Karen over her in the novel as well.
Is Karen the wife? Yes, loved her!

Jones Road takes some getting used to - with application and then having a super glowy look- but I’ve learned to really like it. I have very dry mature skin and it’s very good for dry skin.
Succession- I can’t wait for the finale! I used to be a team Shiv, but I’ve kind of come off of supporting her because she’s just so yucky. With the cheating and now she’s pregnant defiantly drinking all the time. I just don’t like her character anymore.
Roman- he’s a legitimate PERV (Geri eww). Scary at times and then unpredictable MESS at the funeral. He couldn’t complete the task at hand, I just was done with him. And yes, I buried my own father and I got it together enough to publicly speak at my father’s funeral. Roman needs therapy at the very least.
Kendall, while flawed (self destructive) is the obvious choice. He has morphed into his father- as we have witnessed throughout the seasons. He would be the best bet.
Crazy pick- GREG EGG! He’s the underdog who really is a snake in the grass portraying a clueless suck up. 🤷🏻♀️
Here’s what I’m hoping for -I hope that they make a new series going into the background of the rise of Logan Roy. From his childhood, to the kid’s childhood all of it. His wives-his marriage to Caroline, etc. I think that would be fascinating to watch!

OMG - GREG! I want to slap him. He doesn't even bother to hide his blind ambition. What he did to Shiv (first the "what's it worth to you?" and then the turning her in) was deplorable - unlike Tom, he's also completely clueless! I'd be shocked if he landed there in the end - but it would be an interesting twist.
I’m feeling it may be Tom! I think Geri, Frank and the rest of them are sick of the Roy brats and want to take back the company they worked so hard for. Tom’s so tired. could that be because he’s been working behind the scenes with Maatson? I just feel like he’s been slowly coming into his own and will surprise them all. Perhaps with Greg. Love the makeup too! I must order some Jones Rd.
Well, that's interesting!! But Mattson doesn't seem to respect Tom....but I don't know if Mattson really respects anyone - lol I do kinda hope that if it's Kendall he keeps Tom.
@@TheHoodedLid I feel like Maatson dislikes them all but Tom is easier to control and is already CEO of the network. He do the dirty work for the election. I just feel his character arc would be more surprising. Like I Claudius! Everyone thought he was a dummy too.
@@Juleswoodfield It would be a stunning turn for the story. He's like Greg in that he's so very concerned with how he fits in and will turn on someone in a snap. But, I can't think of a time where he's actually made the wrong movie.
Logan said it best... his children are not serious people. None of them have the experience or are remotely qualified to run a company of that size. They are the epitome of being all talk, no substance. Even Tom, who is not qualified to run the org, is still more qualified than all three kids because at least he has some understanding of the business!
100% agree. They are not serious because they make decisions based on ego or anger. But...I feel that Kendall is getting better at making choices based on fact once in a while. Roman firing the studio head just to exercise his power - that's what Logan meant by "not serious people."

Totally agree about Roman-he is a total a-hole. He has made the show difficult for me to watch because he is so out there and obnoxious. Enjoy the competition between Shiv and Kendall. Also agree about Daisy Jones-really dislike the main character but the ending redeemed(maybe a little too sweet? But tied things up well. Just a bummer cause my daughter told me it was based on Fleetwood Mac (whom I adored!!!)and was not remotely similar to their story except for the drugs🤣love the fresh look!
I heard that Fleetwood Mac thing, too and like you was/am a huge fan. Totally not. The only thing they have in common is a female keyboard, a female lead singer and a male on vocals and guitar!

No, no, no to talking about a series in depth. Maybe some have not watched yet or are not up to a certain episode. I would prefer recommending something you watch. I have tried watching Succession and just could not get into it. Maybe I will try again so I am skipping discussion on that. One series I love is Ted Lasso. What is so annoying though, is you have to subscribe to some of these streaming services to watch so they need to have more than one thing to watch for me to spend money. Not interested in the Jones makeup. Looks like a hot mess to me (in the containers). It remind me of another line that sort of has the same type of cream products. You are making it work for you though.
Nope..I don't think this is the type of make-up for me.... even the application doesn't appeal to me..
