Ricky Carmichael, Jeremy McGrath, Roger De Coster, Bob Hannah, and Heikki Mikkola were far more dominant in their days. At the same time, Bubba is one of two riders in the history of the sport (AMA) to ride a perfect season.
These guys are talking about his whole career. James was the most dominant amatuer rider in history, then moved into the Pro's and had similar success. Sure things slowed down at MX1 level, but he was still hugely successful.

Still found his way to Suzuki to win yet again. Battled injuries and all he sent it harder took some punishment I understand if others won more but ya Bubba changed the game.
