Picture this: you're boondocking in the middle of nowhere, or perhaps you're parked at a luxurious campground. No worries, this camp has got you covered! Equipped with LP lamps, a forced air furnace, and a wood-burning stove, you'll stay toasty on those winter nights. And for those chilly outdoor escapades, the heated holding tanks ensure that not even your water freezes in fear.
Now, when the summer sun decides to turn up the heat, the robust insulation, soft start AC unit, and fantastic fan will keep you cooler than a cucumber at a spa. This camp isn't just about surviving-it's about thriving with amenities galore. Craving a gourmet meal in the wilderness? Unleash your inner chef with the pull-out Blackstone grill and Traeger smoker. Yes, folks, you can now grill and smoke your favorite dishes while basking in the great outdoors.
But wait, there’s more! We've even thrown in a composting toilet, because why not mix a little eco-friendly innovation with your luxury camping? Don’t fret, if you ever decide that composting isn’t your thing, it's plumbed with a black tank and water supply for an easy switch to a fixed toilet setup. Versatility, thy name is Peak Mountain Camp.
Join us on this informative tour and witness how we continually push the envelope of what’s possible in the world of custom camps. Peak Mountain Camps: where your dream home and the great outdoors become one!
With all the mass produced units' problems , your operation looks like a steller product line. It's truly a step above...
I saw a unit at the Hershey show some years ago...
Thank you. That’s been a few years back.
I agree with your statement “Never towed anything that pulled better,” I have driven Class A’s, AB’s and C’s. I have towed several different travel trailers. I never owned or towed 5th wheels. My first tow with our camp was 1.5 K miles in a blizzard and snow storms back to Indiana. Everything from our one ton GMC and Camp worked and towed beautifully. A great test for a first trip out.
Nice. Like the wild cherry.
It’s always exciting and inspiring to see the new ideas each new camp owner has put into their camp. More impressive is to see how Weston and the team at Peak Mtn can build and incorporate each idea into a reality. You guys surely are great craftsman! I really like the new outdoor storage latches.
Thanks, we really appreciate your kindness.
They really are amazing!
Please make a video showing us the build process!! Is it wood framed, what kind of insulation do you use, etc?
I believe there is a couple videos on or channel showing different phases of the build process.
I'm catching up on your videos. I really appreciate these videos where you're testing stuff.
I just wanted to let you know that your video editing really stands out when watching on a big screen TV with surround sound on.
I sometimes watch on my smartphone with headphones on, and it sounds good there, too.
My personal favorite is Freedom sheilds no OKB in your testing. For your inevitable wind tunnel testing. Yarn and scotch tape on the inside and outside of the windscreen will help to see the turbulence.
Love your work.
Nice camp.
Thanks Smokey!
What brand wood stove do you use? Thanks.
Glad i found this channel. Greatly appreciate your attention to detail!
Thank you 🙏
I lived in a mondern sheep 🐑 camp for6years 20to30below in winter wile i bult my house total warm in winter best camper I have ever had 👍👍👍👍
Wow, that’s a fantastic build of that camp model! Absolutely love the compost toilet! I would definitely do that. That way you don’t have to have a black tank. Could you do a single mixer valve for the shower? Looking forward to seeing the camp model with the washer dryer combo. Keep up the great work. May have to give you a call someday soon and get myself one of these.
You won’t regret it!
Yes the single mixer is no big deal. We look forward to working with you.
These remind me of old train cars... They're really cool. Something like a General Officer might have had in Europe as a command car back during the second World War. And here we can tow them behind our trucks!
Hey I hope you're having a great day! I really like this setup all but the toilet. I like the interior on this unit alot! I like that you can put a dog bed under your bed so the dog won't be sleeping in the middle of the floor. What is the biggest shower that you can get in one of your camps? What is the widest that you can make one of these units? I have watched a lot of RV videos an when your video popped up on UA-cam and I watched it I was amazed at yalls camps! When I get ready to get a RV I'm pretty sure I will be getting in touch with you! Everything yall are doing is what I want in a RV straight up! Your new fan Leonard from North Carolina.
102” is as wide as we can legally go. Is far as showers go, it will all depend on layout. One limiting factor is the front door. If you did a side door that would free up some area.
You need to put up a divider so the is some privacy or a wall with door.
Nice camp. I hope you are as happy with yours as I am with mine. It is a fantastic thing to be able to design your trailer to fit your specific needs. ENJOY!
Glad to hear the camp is good, but the real question is, how’s the fishing?
Thank you! We really do love it!
@@peakmountaincamps Only fair at best. River is running high and the big fish are deep.
Love the two way fridge for off grid camping, the propane gas lights that can also keep the camper warm for most of the year and the recliners for those cold and rainy days and nights👍Just wondering if you use GoodYear tires and how you prevent the front door from leaking when you travel in the rain?
We use several different brands of tires depending on what the customer wants. The front door has a double seal that does a pretty good job at sealing it up.
@@peakmountaincamps Thanks for the response! I only ask about the Goodyear tires because I was with my daughter and son in law and they had two blowouts with their Chinese Castle Rock tires Memorial Day weekend. 5 years old, less than 5,000 miles, no weather checking, 60psi and a trailer that wasn’t overloaded. I have read all the horror stories, but until you actually experience it for yourself, they seem exaggerated.
Do the solar panels fold out so they are facing up toward the sky? They can't charge much if they are in the shade or not facing the sun can they? Can more panels be placed on the roof to get 500 to 1,000 watts of solar?
They can be set up however the customer wants. We try to avoid any holes on the roof to avoid potential leaking issues down the road.
For me get rid of the stupid t.v.
Love the layout!
Awesome table!
Can you make a walk around bed?
You bet. I believe we even have a couple videos of camps set up that way.
What a absolute stunning camp!!
Those new latches on the storage areas are really nice. That is another great improvement. Wow!
Absolutely ✌️
Can’t wait to see biggest Camp you ever built. I bet there are couple surprises in store. 😊
Is there a way to contact you and get some brochures from you? Very interested in what you guys do

Looks great in that blue
Thank you. Gives it some more personality….not that this camp lacks personality.
The price on this unit ?
I'd also like to know a rough price for budgetary purposes. Could twin bunks be built in?
@rcumbee56 absolutely! Pricing is a sq ft price + appliances. Most camps this size are going to fall between 70k-80k.
Really nice trailer. Thankyou for the walkthrough. Please stop saying "to where".
Noted 👍
That is a good looking camp 😊
Nice
Thank you!
I enjoy your videos
Thank you. We appreciate your support!
