To commemorate the 6th anniversary of Rick Parfitt's death, we bring you the original recording of "Without You," taken from his unreleased 1985 solo album, Recorded Delivery. It has been digitally remastered using the Reaper DAW.
Rick re-recorded this track for his solo album, which would be released posthumously in March 2018, with alternate lyrics.

A much clearer transfer of this version. The enhanced clarity gives a better impression of what Rick and Pip were aiming for. Hoping for a release of this album, or a remix at some point.

Very nice.
I was so suprised when I heard the 2016 version, how well Rick sung (even with some 'help' from modern technology). I do feel the 2016 version is superior to this one, partly because of the emotional weight of course, but I like the more balanced arrangement aswell, and the solo is slightly better in that one imo.
Nice to hear a better quality version of the original though!
