These videos are mostly a waste of time unless before and after are level matched so thanks for not wasting my time like so many other videos do. I hope the other manufacturers take note and stop using the increased loudness trick. More and more people are waking up to this one and not falling for it so easily now.
Infected mushroom has a sound on the lows the moment you load it you immediately get a change on the lows,I love it.
This is definitely almost always on my mastering chain no matter the genre.
I think it is an amazing plugin! Underrated and also misunderstood in my opinion. I am not sure if it is an urban legend but I heard that Infected Mushroom guys created this plugin to have a very fast master while going from studio to the concert arenas ( I'm not kidding ). Of course it will not be %100 precise, that is not the point. Also one needs to be careful with knobs as it may get dirty.
One tip from Infected Mushroom guys is to automate the Clip &Limit in different parts of the song to create some variation.
Anyways I really like it, no matter what everyone says...

Forgot to say tho that as soon as u put this plugin on ur master, it changes the character in the low mid frequencies. So ur kick is not gonna sound the same. Wich depending on what sound ur going for, it might not benefit you to use this plugin. But it is a nice plugin tho.

I find it funny when people are giving their negitive reviews on waves, a very large plugin company from like ages and then commenting on Infected Mushroom, challenging their music sense and experience, its double funny!
Just put the 1 kHz sine tone in your DAW, turn the Magic knob, and listen to what Pusher does with it... I have the Pusher and I really don't want it to be on my master bus)

@@user-bb3ru2up6j No, he's talking about a technique that exposes the harmonic additions. If you do this you can see the type of harmonics that are being added by saturation. Even, odd, how much, etc. It's adding eyes to your ears, basically, to better understand your plugin. (For example I discovered Puigtec 670 adds a ton of harmonics, more than I even realized. Very colored compressor!)

It colors the sound, but that by far does not mean it's something negative. In fact, it works perfectly for aggressive genres like metal or industrial.
In fact, it distorts a sound in a non-musical way. Process the sweep tone with this plugin and You'll see the unpleasant picture. Or maybe you are able to hear the result.

What is the latency of this plugin? I wonder how it might work for live applications?
Hi there, thank you for reaching out. The latency is 128 samples at 44.1 kHz - 48 kHz and 256 at 88.2 kHz - 96 kHz.
So it's designed to be used on a stereo file, not on the main mix?
You can use it both ways.

I think I stick with *Fresh Air* plugin. Mushroom Pusher still sounds muddy somehow.
