It's one thing to verbally threaten what were quite literally scared children who thought one mistake meant their career was over, it's horrific that they then resorted to physical abuse to "keep them in line". The fact the boys were to scared to tell their parents about the abuse makes me wonder what other similar cases may be going on behind the scenes. The K pop industry needs to be better regulated to protect all idols & prevent anyone else going through what they did.

There have been former idols (men & women) who’ve talked about being prostituted by their companies to pay off the debts of training and debuting. Almost all idol groups of experience some form abuse from their management/companies- mental, emotional, and physical. Even the top dogs of the industry at some point in their careers. These young men and women are told they can’t be their own person, they have to be what they’re told to be. They can’t eat whatever they want, they can’t date whoever they want, and they can’t even get a full nights rest or proper time off unless they’re injured. There’s always eyes watching- from dispatch to their own fans. These young people are under so much work & pressure without guaranteed success or money. It’s not a competition of who’s the most mistreated, it’s the sad fact that they ALL are in one way or another.

Junwook's testimony was not only that, Eunsung and Sagang were also witnesses in court, I forget which trial. but Woojin was refused to be a witness because at that time only 2 witnesses were allowed, and the ones chosen by the judge were stylish and their staff. I'm really sad because you only make videos based on English translation, while there are many things that are not translated into English. small, but important details. The sentencing was too lenient. One of them was sentenced for a year, and the other, eight months? Even ten years behind bars isn't enough.

there is different types of mistreatment. "not getting enough lines" IS mistreatment but what these boys went through was far more worse.
