Thank you Dan, for a fantastic Christmas present. I remember hearing the entire cassette in 1979 while attending Brown Institute. Several years later I purchased the entire series. It's still a rare treat to listen to.

I lived in Beloit, Wisconsin and this was the radio show that we all listened to.
I was listening from Rockford IL! we had friends and relatives living in Beloit at that time. :)
I so loved listening to Larry, John, Fred and all the gang. It's wonderful to hear Larry's voice from the past.
They do not have radio stations like this anymore. Larry was a ledgend

The news helped set the date at April 7, 1978. I turned sixteen the next month. Forty years later....
I grew up in the 60's on WLS. Lived in SW Michigan and loved Uncle Larr!
$8,000 Thunderbird? They really were the good old days.
But T-birds in '78 and '79 were crap.
