    i remember this car from Race Driver: GRID, this makes me feel so nostalgic!

      Yeah, there are not many games, where you can race F1000, and GRID is one of them. It's not the best from simulation point of view, but vibes are definitely there!

      I remember this car from Game TOCA Race Driver 3. This was the first appereance of this car in any Racing game, and still even fun than F1.

      Exactly, very respectful grid! But it's still racing - everything can happen. Here's an example ua-cam.com/video/Zkle2Yiek2o/v-deo.html

      If you check this vid

      at 2:25, you could imagine what is real difference between f1000 and f1 of old era. :) Keeping in mind that f1000 is really fast car.

    Are you still racing the Formula 1000? What driving experience did you have when you started f 1000? How is the availability of new Chassis and or complete cars? I have read that there are chassis available, but you have to assemble them, but I don't know what the situation is in the UK. Where I am, there is no Formula 1000 but travelling to the USA is a possible though I know the cars are different, but I am not sure by how much or what exactly is different and whether it is possible to make the necessary changes to race a UK car in the USA and vice versa.

      So. I don't race in f1000 now, but I follow the championship in social media and up to date more or less. You can check latest videos on the channel to see what I race now.
      When I came to f1000, I had years of experience in rallies, rx and rally raids, but f1000 was my first circuit championship. Or course I had occasional chances to drive on circuits here and there, but my first circuit racing licence I got specifically for f1000.
      There are no new cars "in stock" usually, you have to order it and wait to be built for you. You can order complete thing from jedi factory, or chassis and install engine, or buy used one the easiest and quickest option. It's the best to email the factory, but in general f1000 is not a kit car, you don't have to assemble it.
      As far as I know f1000 UK and US are completely different cars (dimensions, body, engine) and can't be converted forth and back, but I'm not really into US car.
      Let me know if I missed smth.

      here2race what age can you race these at is it definitely 16

    • @here2race
      @here2race  4 роки тому +1

      @@charlielockerracing7103 well, to be honest I'm not sure about age rules. There are definitely competitors with parents/guardians - so younger than 18, but I'm not sure about limits and procedures for young drivers. I don't want to misinform you. You should ask msuk (www.motorsportuk.org) about getting race licence and series organisers (www.f1000uk.com) about taking part.

    F3 car is it???

    • @here2race
      @here2race  4 роки тому

      No, F1000 UK spec - but lap times are quite similar to F3 (depending on track). There's US F1000 spec as well, but it's different.

    • @youtubemodsaresnowflakelef7692
      @youtubemodsaresnowflakelef7692 2 роки тому +1

      @@here2race Similar to F3? I doubt that... Faster than F4 I will believe, since the HP is the same but the F-1000 is 100 kilos lighter.
      I hear they cost about the same to buy as Formula Ford but are far cheaper to maintain and run, is that true? SInce I'm looking to get into lower cost open wheel racing. Is the series defunct in UK/EU?

    • @here2race
      @here2race  2 роки тому +2

      @@youtubemodsaresnowflakelef7692 yeah, you are right - F3 is faster, especially latest generations, but it is not so obvious for older F3s. Watch this ua-cam.com/video/EVlZJViES5I/v-deo.html Here I fight with a couple of older F3 by the end. There is championship called Monoposto in UK where F3 and F1000 go together - google so you can get more results to compare.
      About price. I'm not sure how much is Formula Ford, but I believe they are in the same league for price, but F1000 is waaaay faster. I shared track with formula fords a couple of times, they are really slow comparing to F1000.
      F1000 is very much active championship in UK these years. You can buy car or rent arrive and drive. Very competitive grid. Start from here f1000uk.com/
