Man, I miss this show so much. My mom used to set up mini supermarket sweeps for me in my kitchen and it was so fun. I would win a dollar if I found the final item. Those were the days lol.
Hi! I’m a journalist working on an essay about Supermarket Sweep ahead of the 29th anniversary of the ‘90s version of the show hitting the airwaves (on Feb. 5). I was hoping to interview some fans of the show to learn more about what they like about it. Please comment back if you are interested in talking. Thanks!
A Close Call for the Win I LOVE this Game Show I use to watch it on Lifetime back in the 90's and yes, it was on PAX, but none of the stations in my area carried PAX God Bless David Ruprecht, I talk to him on Facebook and he's a great guy
@@babyqueen2030 yep! They were in their way to look for the 2nd clue and saw the money. They grabbed it and started celebrating, but they told the show made them put the money back and find the 2nd clue. They didn't find it in time.

Awww! That's so cute!
Joseph Erbentraut somehow I didn’t see this comment when you wrote it a year ago - sorry!!
Was fun to see how excited they were winning at the end. I felt like jumping up and down for them 🤣
man i miss it when you could watch an episode of this without commercials in between
"Which one of these doesnt contain chicken?"
Picks the one that literally translates to "Rice with chicken"

If you went on Supermarket Sweep, who would you choose as your Partner?
@@markheying2830 my sister !!! And I would be the one to do all the shopping!
Anyone noticed they went back to the aisle where Item #1 was to get the $5000?
6:19 a great way to kick off the pricing games!!!
I love Roy's hustle
4ft salami and she’s got a place to put them 💀💀💀💀
19:39 - Nice one! Very close! :3
@Mike H. , you have to have the cash fan in your hand, so they got it with less than a second to spare, looked like.
Anyone else notice that the adjudicator sounded the win, before they even touched the money? Thought that was odd.
@@DionysusAlSMuch like on Legends Of The Hidden Temple when the Player grabs the Artifact in time to get the 2nd Prize.
They put the 3rd clue in the same area as the 1st clue? Gee, imagine if they ended up grabbing the wrong one lol
That would've been confusing
@@NYChica23 And cause a lot of controversy had they found it too soon...
That happened in another episode. They found the 3rd clue before the 2nd clue. They didn't find the 2nd clue in time, so they didn't win the money.

Can you upload under Supermarket Sweep Fans?
At least team 1 had a mini sweep bonus (not the same as the prize bonuses).
Does anyone know that Roy looks like Mr clean with a mustache
Yes, and Teri looks like Renee Zellweger.

Native American theme to the sweaters.
