This performance will forever be legendary. I.N's voice crack actually made the song better for me as it had emotion. I wanted to hug him so badly when he cried.
I thought the exact same. I felt like it really went with the performance, really showed the depth of emotion they were going for. But it broke me how upset he was.
Agreed. If his voice hadn’t of cracked it wouldn’t have had the same raw, emotional, desperate vibe it gave the climactic ending. I can understand his upset at not getting out the note he was supposed to sing but he didn’t let anyone down, at all.
I.N. missed a note at the end. He was SO worried going into it, because it was outside his normal range. Then the show's producers took him aside after the performance to video him about how he felt BEFORE he had a chance to talk to Chan or any of the others, and he cried. He really felt he ruined he whole performance. Chan and the others all did their best to reassure him and comfort him (especially Chan - he takes a moment to do this in a spot where the cameras can't video them, but you can hear them speaking). Later back at the dorms, the rest of the group was watching tv and I.N. just started sobbing in the kitchen. They all rushed in. "What's wrong? What's wrong?" This episode, their ranking on the show was dropped to the bottom by the judges. I.N. truly believed it was all his fault. "Because of me," he told them. "I ruined our performance." They all comforted him. These days, he gets really embarrassed if this incident gets brought up, but at the time, it was absolutely heartbreaking seeing him shoulder that and feel so bad.
@@ontheedge91same. this performance was so emotional, even Btob themselves were mesmerized. Skz covered one of the hardest songs in K-pop, and credit should be given where its due.
@@ontheedge91 OMG, freaking YT keeps eating my reply! Anyway, I 100% agree. This song is one of SKz iconic performances, in no small part because of the emotion they poured into it. I will never forget Changbin's rap here. ❤ I.N.'s performance only underscores that and makes it even more impactful. I really hope someone has told him that at some point.
So many people I have showed this performance to have not picked up on the premise of the performance (sacrifice to bring back the boy), which drives me crazy because I was in tears over it; and literally EVERYONE thought I.N. was showing so much emotion in his note and did not think it was a mistake at all. 9:17 this!!!! Im Arab and the arabian style of music is toyally different than the western style of. The western style depends on high notes, straight forward rythms and it's very strict they have so many rules like there's no room for improvisation in it. The arabian style on the other hand depends on runs, riffs, power, emotion, crazy vocal control and unlike the western style improvisation we also use a different scale than the west. One of the techniques used to add emotion thats taught in arabic maqam (maqam is the arabic style of music) is intentional voice cracks especially when you're conveying something sad and heartbreaking it requires a lot of vocal control and precision. When i first watched this stage i thought I.N had done this on purpose and was like wow when i later found out that wasn't the case and that the judges had placed them last i was devested because it truly sounded like it was intentional. But kpop follows the western style (which is weird considering that the traditional korean style is so different and if anything its closer to the arabic style). It kind of shows you how little the judges actually know about music like if they bought singers such as Eunkwang (btob), Mingyu and woorim (forestella) Kim Hyun Soo (forte di quattro) or actual vical coaches i think the outcome would be totally different.

Hahaha, no. "Fighting" (화이팅 - romanized “hwaiting” but pronounced more like “hoy-ting”) is an encouragement in Korean. It's like "you can do this" 😂
Not Roscoe calling everyone out during Felix being dragged
Чанбин за двоих репперов , один зачитал 😘
I loved this performance so much but it's hard to enjoy because how hurt I.N was by this. He was amazing and i agree the emotion was really in keeping with the theme. Also I didn't appreciate how much Mnet showed his pain it felt exploitative.
I really love your reaction, i think was very honest and so similar to The one I had great video ❤❤❤
It kind of shows you how little the judges actually know about music like if they bought singers such as Eunkwang (btob), Mingyu and woorim (forestella) Kim Hyun Soo (forte di quattro) or actual vical coaches i think the outcome would be totally different.
its the fact that they didn't even get close to first place with this performance
You should google lee knows face when they came in last for this performance
It’s a thing 😮❤
You need to watch wolfgang as well in kingdom ❤❤
