I live in Maryland Heights, Mo and in the last two weeks it has been in the lower 70's and today in the 80's. I all ready cut off 2" of grass in my lawn. All the years I lived in my home I did not need to cut the grass this early. I have 18,000 sq ft to cut.
Just started it up, the mower and the grass!
Enjoy the mow.. wish I was doing the process ..but we just got done our thaw in Ontario..looking at getting my first reel mower soon...looking for webb ..but unfortunately no company will ship to Canada..Can't wait to start reel mowing..cheers from 🇨🇦
I enjoy mowing too, so I get it. However, it is still only February.
I’m not sure where you live, but I’m in northern Illinois and it was mid 60’s for a few days, then yesterday, 29° and snowing - still a dusting on the ground today. Forecasted 70° on Tuesday. My lawn is still nice and green even without a mow. The grass can still wait another month. 😂
Also, why are your bins so far into the street?
I mowed my fescue in early January but it's too cold nights and not growing quite enough for to mow it again just yet

Funny, I've been resisting doing a Feb. cut, but it needs a clean up & trim lol! (Ohio)
It seriously looks so much cleaner now!
Mowing fescue in February may be okay, however no one should be mowing bermuda until after the last frost.
What about bluegrass?
Living in Denmark and having a somewhat similar climate to UT - I did starton the 17th of February 🙂 Not with the Toro though, but my first mower, which is a light weight rotary mower 😉
