I am a huge Chanbaek supporter. I believe in it whole-heartedly. I believe they have a chemistry, a connection and I really believe that they absolutely need each other. Soul mates. When I saw this clip for the first time, I love that Kai supported him but I saw Baek turn and look at Sehun, like pleading silently at first, just that look on his face was pleading, please, Sehun-ah...go and comfort him. He hugged Sehun to say, give him this hug from me...hug him for me...and I love that Suho and Chen encouraged him too. As soon as Sehun came back from doing as asked, Baekhyun looked so thankful...hence the hand on Sehun's arm..."Thank you...I really appreciate you helping me do what I can't right now." I know baby Baek wanted to do nothing less then hug his Channie himself and tell him it would be okay.

I wondered for a while, why didnt Baek just go over and comfort Chanyeol. But they are all too aware that Chanbaek ship is very popular, and if he went over, the fans will go crazy w the Chanbaek moment, and it will steal the attention away from Chanyeol's words, and it was obviously something he needs to get off his chest. I think Chanyeol would not have wanted that too, like he wanted to tell his fans his internal journey and he would be sad if they were not listening. I think Baek knows that too. Videos like these are what makes non-kpop fans call us delusional. As a fellow shipper myself, I've never felt more disgusted and utterly belittled by someone that ships chanbaek, as well. In this ment, Chanyeol was trying to express to us what he felt, why he was torn within himself, and why he will choose to be a better person, a better artist in the future. It is very obvious that Baekhyun would react like this, as a teammate that has been with Chanyeol for 7 years and have been through multiple obstacles as a group, with EXO. If I was Baekhyun, I'd probably even cry. There has been some pretty solid Chanbaek moments that I completely lose my shit over but this kind of stuff? This is what makes people question our sanity. You put words in their mouths, implied things that were very obviously not there and your captions were honestly so disappointing. As a fan, even as a shipper like myself, we have to first focus on what our idols are trying to convey to us. Not ignoring that to point out 'evidence'. What evidence? I am an avid Kaisoo and Chanbaek shipper but people who post these kinds of 'analysis' are just straight up delusional. Keep in mind that this is from a fellow EXO fan, Chanbaek fan, not some anti-fan that you can go and label as just hating. Please, this kind of stuff will cause nothing but annoyance, even from your own fandom.

I really felt for Channie, and in any way was I disrespecting or disregarding his ment, minimizing what he was trying to say, so please don't come for me. I never point things out as "evidence", i'm not Dispatch lmao and I honestly never debate when it comes to shipping or even fandoms, it's a waste of time for me, I read comments, see what people think of it but I'm not gonna fight anyone, that's burdensome 😅.

@@theodotxo1790 I appreciate your good hearted reply. I would just like to clarify that it's not that Chanbaek makes me angry. I ship Chanbaek (a lot) as well. I just feel as though that they are already irritated by us shipping them- so they would feel even more disappointed with the fandom if people that just fetishize gay couples point out that every moment is a Chanbaek moment when they are trying to just have a voice in the fandom. Everyone can warm their hearts with a little Chanbaek with moments that actually seem like moments. It's just disturbing for me, to see people completely make up stories behind what they think is shipping, instead of digging and finding reasons to why they think moments are actually moments.
For example, the Kaisoo 'Jagi' moment. I believed it because I read an analysis of the situation, not only drawing from external points of view but analysing the reasons for such actions, why did Jongin's lips look like they said 'Jagi', why did Kyungsoo immediately move forward, why did Jongin hide his mouth, why did Suho's expression change, what is the chemistry behind the word 'Jagi', and what do Koreans have to say about the whole situation. She gave research, evidence, and reason for her own belief and that is the kind of shipping conspiracy I respect. Of course, we can never have a full background on something because we don't know anything about these idols. Just their manufactured stage personality and their occasional livestreams on instagram.
This might just be my own liking, as someone who always tries to look for slips and cracks in arguments until it seems solid. But I just feel like we, as a fandom, is respected much less when people see these type of videos.
Anyhow, I do respect your calm reply but I do see flaw in the way some parts of the fandom ship them in delusion.

Ik Baekhyun cares about Chanyeol bt what is the reason as to why he doesn't hug him on stage much, especially on concert #5 when Chanyeol had a moment? Do the other guys be embarrassed to hug sometimes? I'm happy Kai was on him like he was bcuz he needed that and I'm happy he shared his feelings honestly and was able to cleanse the soul by crying. My opinion is this..I am a Chanyeol girl he's my dude by far but Beak is cool...but from my vantage point I can't really see the dynamics of their relationship as it is a real love affair or a real deep friendship??...because to me it seems that most of the members cling to Chanyeol...Xiumam,Sehun,Chen,Kai,while Chanyeol was fighting for the affections of D.O. so now that D.O is gone it's like a gravitational pull towards Beakhyun idk....but I'm not going to label them or their sexuality..because really and truly...who really knows outside of the members and even some of the other SM family....but it just seems to me that they all seem to switch up with each other quite often...even Sehun mentioned to Chanyeol that he is happy whenever he's around Chanyeol but he doesn't know why he feels that way because Chanyeol is a guy...so to me it seems like phases....even Xiuman seem to have a thing for Chanyeol...so I'm not sure if ANY of this is really real or phases...that's just the way I see it...Chanyeol got older more mature ...physically bulked up his body looking really good... now it seems everybody wants him females included.I liked Chanyeol from the very beginning and he wasn't getting this much love as he is now...so I just wonder if it's phases that are at play...Chanyeol will always be my #1..but I feel like these are phases...and one last thing ...I don't care who is around if you love and care about someone and they need to be consoled you console them no matter who's watching...you're team members..you're a band of brothers..you don't send other people to console " your partner " for you..Chanyeol would have stepped up if it was the other way around.
