You've converted a decent, albeit bog-standard, model kit into a work of art. Your eyes must really hurt after working with all that intricate, minute detail.
I am in awe of the level of detail this person has put into this model. The engine alone shows a very deep knowledge of automotive engineering. Utterly amazing.
Having owned several of these and dismantled even more. The details are spot on. Absolutely amazing. The bonnet and the trunk alone are God level additions. Don’t ever stop doing this.
@@A4GarageDo you ever get a feeling of anticlimax when that very final piece of the jigsaw is done? Is the building itself the reason, or looking forward to an absolutely perfect reproduction of the car once completed. Either way, it's absolutely phenomenal work. Many thanks for sharing it with us 🙂
Besides being a scale modeler as a young boy, the '02 is one of my absolute favorite cars, since I had several full scale versions of them as a young adult in the '70:ies . I took them apart down to the smallest part, repaired and rebuilt them; I know them by heart. This scale model build is like ASMR to my brain. When you constructed the scissor mechansim for the bonnet I was almost in tears. For some reason that mechanism is so imprinted on me and my brain I couldn't really take in how realistic you made it. I have been wanting to build this model myself when I retire and have two Hasegawa and USCP kits in storage, but after finding this video I may just watch your build over and over again. Thank you.
Another master piece from one of the most skillful model artist in youtube. Thank you for this video, I really hope there will be more model cars on the market will all doors open.
Friend, I customize die cast, and all these extra details that you do one by one, brought me many ideas and improvements. I really appreciate you sharing your work, thank you very much.
I just didn't want this delightful video to end. I was half expecting the engine spring into life, and start purring. When the engine received its bottom end radiator hose, then i realised this was no ordinary model build. Many thanks for such a great bit of entertainment
Excellent work! I'm working on a full size version. Incredible detail. Bravo. Very steady hands - I'm thinking you don't drink much coffee/tea during some of the super detail stages. Smile.
My late uncle owned several BMWs. The ones I remember include a 1600, 1802, 2002, 2002 turbo, a 320i, 323i and his last was a 325ix. This is as close as it gets and brought back childhood and adolescent memories... ACE!!! ❤❤❤
Man, I think you need auction where collectors can purchase your masterpieces which you would like to sell. Outstanding details and quality. Your models are Faberge eggs in scale modeling 😵
I have this feeling that the builder has several projects in progress simultenuously. As long things are going well (or not), he made good use of his resources, mainly time and patience.
My god... The detail work...the work that 9999 people would say, oh a model car, and then those of of that would recognize the work you put in.. I'm in awe.. just stunning... Jaw dropping detail... Such dedication when hardly anyone will even understand... You are the best .. jewelry... Just mind boggling dedication..
It's amazing how tilt-shift and forced perspective can make a full-sized car look like a model....wait, what?? All jokes aside, this is absolutely NEXT LEVEL. Fantastic!
the difference between cars with aircrafts or tanks, is that on the aircrafts and tanks, the more we put weathering effects, the models became more realistic. But in the cars like this, stay off weathering is the best choice! superb as always man!
My goodness. The amount of work put into those doors and door panels, I wouldn't be surprised if you put functioning wind-down windows in them. I would love to see your version of an RC build one day.
Awesome!! 🙂👍 Absolutely amazing build & quality. My first car back 1977, was a BMW 1800SA, 1969 model. When BMW took over the Glas factory, they sent several thousand KDK (knock down kits) to BMW SA for assembly and distribution in South Africa / Rhodesia. It was a car of similar size, with engines, gearboxes, underpinnings and interiors all from the BMW parts bin. The 1800SA & 2000SA & (BMW 'Cheetah' for Rhodesia) became uniquely Southern African cars. Cars pretending to be BMWs. Still a few have survived to this day. My own 1800SA was 'T' boned in '83 so went to the scrap yard😢
Absolutly Amazing. This unbelievable, your talent is impressive. I build model cars in scale 1/24 too, but only in metal with little plastic-parts. I can learn here many things. The only what i miss here, was the working steering column in the engine room. Yes, your steering works, but not from the steering wheel. I know, it's very difficult to build this, but i had looked, how the die-cast models do that. So i made some copy. But i must congrulate for this amazing work. Very, very good.
C'est une première pour moi de regarder une vidéo de ce genre. Le travail accompli, la finesse des détails... waouu, c'est merveilleux ! Un GRAND BRAVO 👏👏👏👏 Félicitations 👍👍🎩
This video showcases ridiculously good craftsmanship and meticulous selection of parts and ideas for details and mechanisms. I'm a newbie in the modeling world, and I'm learning a lot from this one. Gained a sub!
It is excellent!!! You brought modeling closer to art! I'm glad UA-cam invited me to watch this video. Awesome! I remember only a sad story from my childhood. The first foreign car in my family was the Ford Sierra. Used, as standard equipment. But painted in a chic metallic blue with blue interior plastic. I loved this car very much and watched it with pain as the next owner practically "kills" this car. There were even requests to my father to buy this Ford back. Unfortunately the car is gone. After watching your video, I got the idea that I really want a similar car model. Not an expensive Ferrari, not a beefy Mustang. A simple Ford. Sorry for this story. Thank you for this BMW. All the best! And it's true, my English is also very bad ))
Usually when it comes to the paint work it is usually too thick and the detail on the body is lost. However, the paint work was so finely put on by you that there was no loss of detail. Excellent!
I joked on another video that this guy probably didn't make sure the plug wires went to the right place on the distributor... but he did. He really did. Absurd detail. 10/10
Truly stunning detail at every step of the process. You’re showing us what is possible, even if we have no way of doing this ourselves. You are a master modeler.
This is next level detail. congratulations. Thank you for not putting adverts every 5 minutes. I believe this model year of bmw was the last year they had working indicators. From then on indicators were just for show and never actually worked. 😅
Incredible micro engineering skills, well done sir. By far the most attention to detail on any channel and a fantastic end result. I’m just getting started in car modelling, I recon if I really work at it, in 35 years time, I may be half as good as you. Subscribed. 👍
Your work is amazing, sir. Not just good. Absolutely incredible! You take modelling to a place most of us can only dream of, Well done. And thank you for sharing 🙂
Watched a car restoration video before, from one of my fav channels. YT offers me your video and i thought, "uh, a 2002 build up?", "why not!" I was really surprised as i recognized that you build up a model kit! But, i watched the full video and i'm deeply impressed! You have a new follower! P.S.:The 2002 BMW Police Car was only used in Bavaria! I'm from Berlin and here the Police uses VW!
Is unbelievable how you can be so talented. Im sure there´s no one in all internet with this skills. Have you ever been contacted by any car company? They should buy your models and expose it in their showrooms. You should work for big model companies, as an example to consumers of what can be done to their models with ability and creativity.
There are several areas of interest here, deserving comment. First, the front strut tower cups are light/medium grey. Second, the vacuum advance on the distributor is missing. Third, the rear quarter glass is a pivot, and is fitted from the outside. The two piece drive shaft and donuts seem to have been ignored. In addition, the bonnet/hood stay is good, but lacks that holding pivot. A magnet or other arrangement will not suffice. I know because I have personally restored two of the E10 BMW 2002 vehicles... the whole and actual vehicle. A late '74 with square tail lights, M10 engine with single solex down draft, and a twin solex '72 four speed. Hope this helps. I comment at 47:41 from a 1:25.43 video.
crazy. simply crazy. Watching your builds makes me wanna try to cut off the doors of mine and make them functionals. But soon I get scared and give up even before starting...

I've been modeling for 40 years, but I've never seen such detail. This is incredible skill. level- God. Taking off my hat.
Normally I skip through videos of people building model cars, but this was too good to miss anything. Awesome work.
Thanks!
I was going to do that, but then I didn't want to miss a single part 😅

I think this is the best channel for car modelling in youtube
Arguably the most detailed model car construction I've ever seen. The car looks amazing with every part, thank you for this detailed craftsmanship.
Thanks!

How you developed the rear springs is genius. Definitely the best car modelling channel on YT.
The level of detail on this is stunning. A real work of art.

The ‘click’ of the doors shutting sounds super satisfying! 👌🏼
Seen many car kit videos, THIS tops them all for me. The engine detail, the door mechanism, that MAGNIFICENT paint job. Amazing.
To be honest, I half expected some tiny people to jump into the car and run off with it at the end of the video, it just looked that real and good 😂👍
おいおい😂
I am in awe of the level of detail this person has put into this model. The engine alone shows a very deep knowledge of automotive engineering. Utterly amazing.
Thanks. I don't have much detailed knowledge. I'm studying and I'm imitating similarly.
Это шедеврально!!! Детализация супер, руки мастера золотые!!!
Having owned several of these and dismantled even more. The details are spot on. Absolutely amazing. The bonnet and the trunk alone are God level additions. Don’t ever stop doing this.
It is all about the journey, and what a journey this BMW has been! Congratulations once again for this unique achievement.
Thanks!

1976 BMW 2002 was my first car in high school. My dad restored it and gave it to me. Damn was I lucky! Miss that thing and wish I'd never sold it.
I just didn't want this delightful video to end.

I just LOVE the degree of detail you go into. It makes all the difference on the finished article.
I cannot believe what I have just watched. Unbelievable ! I am lost for words at the detail. Very well done sir.
I never seen an attention to detail like this before ... simply awesome . 😎
Thanks for sharing your talent !
Congrats from France ✌
Thanks!

Questo non è più modellismo, questa è arte.

He creates from nothing to anything.
항상 봐주셔서 감사합니다!
As i was watching this.. I almost expected a tiny guy to come in and start that thing up !
This is astonishing ammount of detail !
Absolutly Amazing .... The Transformation from a Standard Model to this High End Quality Model .... My biggest Respect ^^
This isn't a model, its a reproduction in miniature. I'm in awe of your skill.
Simply remarkable. I’ll never have the patience to get into this kind of detail, but I admire you for it.
I wish I had the talent, patience, and dexterity to do what you do. Absolutely stunning work

You’re the most talented car model maker on UA-cam. Learn something new every video, and I consider myself pretty darn good.
Stunning skills and precision. If I could be diminished to 1/24, I could ride in your car. Congratulations to your BMW model.
It's amazing how tilt-shift and forced perspective can make a full-sized car look like a model....wait, what?? All jokes aside, this is absolutely NEXT LEVEL. Fantastic!
What a fabulous model!!
I'm sure you checked for correct air pressure in the tires too!
It's wonderful to see this man work! It personifies perfection in his detail. I'm sure this model is worth a fortune!

I must comment again. Mid way through, my mind was blown a second time lol. This dude is unreal.

Bravo, work of art…. I mean you don’t know when to stop and I’m sure I’m gonna attempt some of your stuff and royally fail but bravo.
Absolutely fantastic. I was glued to this video from start to finish. You Sir, are truly a Master!

The paint work is exceptional. The best I have seen on UA-cam. Really exceptional work.
I think it's even more stunning second time around . Totallly outstanding ! Thankyou
