The songs from this anime have stuck with me for so long, even though I had long forgotten where I heard them from. So when this song started playing, that feel kicks in right away. Back then, boys didn't usually admit to watching this sort of girly anime, so it didn't get much appreciation among my childhood friends. (And sadly, it seems that it's never gotten too much attention neither.) I have never been particularly drawn by anime, but this stands out as one of those few I always remember, and I gotta say I like it very much. :)
Takes me back to my early teens, I would ocasionaly catch this on Axn, channel 12. As a young boy who grew up with Dragon Ball, this isn't exactly my type of anime, but I had a bit of a crush on her so I would tune in once in a while.

Her voice is so lovely. When I tryed to search her name there were so many other Kyoko singers that I couldnt say wich one was she. :(

I don’t think every anime should have to sound like a standard upbeat J-Pop song. I appreciate how mature, unique, and iconic this opening song is. I haven’t seen the anime before, but its opening makes the anime give off more “mature” vibes compared to if it had a generic high pitched Magical Girl anime song which most Magical Girls for children audiences have.

This, and the 1st ending theme are two of my absolute favourite anime theme of all time because of how bittersweet it sounds, and it remind me of my childhood when I used to watch this anime. I don't follow Corrector Yui too much though, but I often watch it without really having any context, just for the sake of watching anime for enjoy & fun.. oh nostalgia...
Kyoko's technique is better, but the Spanish song fits the mood of the anime so much more, and I cannot possibly imagine how they make the season 1 finale work with Kyoko's version as opposed to how well it works with the Spanish dub version.
