    I would LOVE to see the Japanese DIY candy kits put through the freeze dryer!

      I Agree. The most interesting DIY kit I've gotten from Japan crate would be the mix your own flavor (i can't remember the name of it), where you get 3 different flavors and you can mix them to make different flavors. My favorite flavor was a little bit of the yellow, a bit of red, and a decent amount of blue, it tasted like cola with a bit of cinnamon.

    recipe for thor video:
    - freeze dry it
    - pour liquid nitrogen on it or dip it in it
    - burn it
    - make it xx bigger

    Freeze Dry Botan Rice Candy (a brand of bontan ame; a soft chewy, citrus flavored candy) You might need to take off the outer layer of rice paper... or not.

    You should try Polish Turkish delight. Its very different but tastes great. It has a marshmallow filling so maybe freeze drying would do something. Its also covered in a thin layer of chocolate

    You need to try freeze drying the Polish candy “Ptasie Mleczko”, they’re really tasty and I think they would freeze dry really well!

    Can you try freeze drying chewing gum and see if it still turns into a gummy chewy texture and freeze drying different chocolate bars.

      I've freeze dried trident gum and it was essentially the same, though the flavor was a tad milder

    Do an aussie spread in the freeze drier - golden gaytime, violet crumble, fairly sure there are a whole host of other aussie 'candies' and chocolate bars that are unique to aus that you'd find fun to do. i'd also suggest doing vegemite at the same time, but honestly i think that would really on make it powdery

    Can you freeze-dry flowers? And how would cake freeze-dry? Different cakes? Cheesecake, sponge cake, etc?
    Also, I would love to see an episode dedicated to making “fruit leather”. Could that be a fun and rewarding time with kids?

    My understanding of the turkish delight, is that to remember for Edmund they were in the middle of rationing, so not only candy, but a fancy foreign candy he'd likely only heard about was tempting when told he could get anything.

    What about freeze drying fermented foods? Does the process mellow out or concentrate the funk?

    can you guys make a video testing out ways to possibly make freeze dried effect with a dehydrator? like, dipping things in liquid nitrogen then putting it in a dehydrator and other things. cause i'm curious how possible that is. or how close. cause i can't afford a $2000 freeze dryer xD. like, how to do a diy freeze dryer maybe

    you guys should test different items from takeouts (chinese, pizza place etc) and these could each be a different video, so you can do multiple menu items from one type

    I'd love to see the more 'wet' savoury snacks like hummus go in the freeze drier.Also, what would happen if you put a three course meal in there and freeze dried it? Could you make it edible at the end?
