I think Jungwon carried the vocals while Jake carried the emotions. This song really suits them, it's actually beyond my expectations. But I have to agree that Geonu really has a nice voice and the song suits him well. And I'm actually surprised when he did that rap part, it goes with him very well. And Daniel, being the youngest, I actually don't know he got a low score, I mean he really did well here. He's trying hard to give the emotions that this song is asking for, and he really has a good vocal, so why???
I love Daniel but it's true this time he did not stand out. I was most worried about him since the song did not fit his age at all. He himself said he was lost. Preparations for this song should probably have started by an emotional brainstorming to find ways to get the emotions right, but they are all very young and though the producers gave good feedback they didn't help convey the emotional state to the kids. Daniel did well, he had the most discreet part which was good considering he was lost, but danced and sang well - it was just "too ordinary". I'm very happy he gets another chance to grow, and hope the song next time fits him better - or that he will have the perfect coaching.

@@medishere6305 that's actually the thing, he's one of the best trainees in terms of vocals yet judges still couldn't find any special thing about him. Even if he has a good vocal, the other trainees are improving to the point that Geonu was overpowered by them. Sadly, he was out.

Personally, this was the team I felt the most connection with, personality and performance-wise.Their emotions while performing didn't look forced and had the most stable vocals. I was rooting for them to place 1st. They were considered as the underdog unit but didn't use that as a barrier for them not to perform well. Kudos to Jungwon for handling the team well. I never regretted you being my bias and also to the members who stayed grounded and focused on team effort to lift each other up. I'm sure Geonu will succeed in pursuing his dream. He'll have time for improvement.
I'm sorry but their emotions did look kinda forced to me ( this is not hate, i really love the boys and their vocals were on point but as an actor I can clearly see they sometime forced their emotions)

I think the most painful thing about Geonu leaving is that you could tell how much the other ilanders loved him. He fit so well in with them all he made it feel complete. Rain saw it and I think he knew Geonu fit with them all perfectly. And I know there are things Geonu has to work on however the reasoning for him being eliminated felt so empty. Instead of focusing on bigger things such as dance or vocals, all they cared about were his facial expressions and I just can’t see why. This unit wasn’t shown at all this episode and it was like they doomed him from the beginning purposely. But it’s ok bc Geonu is an incredible artist and I will support him throughout whatever he does.

I love Jungwon's voice a lot in this whole competition. Kinda sad Daniel looks nervous and is holding back, he was normally better than this, hope he improves. Jake continues to blow my mind with his expressions. It was sad Geonu was eliminated, I personally think he's more qualified than Taki.
Not hating on Taki (I really like him, he's adorable and sweet) but I don't think he's ready to debut. His skills aren't good enough to be in top 7. Also, he's emotionally fragile which makes me worried for him. I'm afraid that he can't do well in the Kpop industry. Some K-netizens are really harsh towards idols, this makes it more difficult to stay in this tough environment. But on the positive side, Taki is only 15, he still has a lot of time to improve. Since Big Hit is going to make a boygroup in 2022 (2 years later from now), he definitely has a chance to debut. I'm really disappointed that Geonu was eliminated in this episode but we couldn't do anything about this. I think he was just unlucky. It's a shame that they had to eliminate the BEST vocalist in this show. Taki was lucky and smart at the same time. He was smart because he chose the right team for him (team Fake Love had popular trainees like Sunghoon, Heeseung and Sunoo). He was also lucky because he had the lowest score out of 12 trainees but his team won so he wasn't eliminated, meanwhile Geonu had the second lowest score. So if Taki had chosen the other teams (I need u and DNA), he would have been eliminated instead of Geonu.
Also, Daniel almost got eliminated. I was shocked, considering he's one the most popular and talented trainees in this show. I didn't expect his score to be that low. Anyways, congratulations to Daniel, Jungwon (he had the second highest score out of 12 trainees) and Jake, they made it. We only have 11 trainees left. Geonu didn't deserve to be the first one who got eliminated, though.

First of all, geonu is the best vocalist in iland. His vocal os stable when he sings high note. Rain also said, geonu is needed in the group. He just lack of face expression which can be improved from time to time.From the first ep I saw that most of the producer like to focus more on dance and face expression. If you see every eps there are only a few times they focus on vocal. I need rain back in iland because when he evaluate the ilander, he will focus on both vocal and dance. And i also like how rain teach them to improved their weaknesses. Sorry i don't how to explain, because english is not my first language
I feel the same way. Also, I don't recall anyone ever telling him to work on his facial expressions (at least they didn't show it on camera). He was just send off after i-Landers final performance in part 1 to do the grounders final performance and coulnd't really improve much. If he knew what was the reason for his first elimination he could have worked on it. Sure, it was slightly awkward when Rain showed the grounders how to perfom the fire vocals, but it helped massively. And I feel like it isn't fair to only judge on how much the contestans have improved because once you are really good, you improve slower. And Geonu already is a stable vocal and a great dancer, he just needs to work on his facial expressions. And even though those aren't on point, he still got so much stage presence

Jungwon really stood out to me in this performance not only because he's my bias but over all he stood out. Jake's expression from the start was sooo good. Geonu shouldn't have been eliminated, that was a big mistake. Daniel did great too! This should've been the debut line [best vocalists here] but Geonu is gone now 😭

Right. It was really a shock for me when I learned that Daniel fell so low in the ranking of Producer's. All of them totally improved so much, honestly I liked I NEED U performance more than the DNA Team [not saying it's not good, it's nice but] I NEED U Team exceeded them in singing and visual. I love Daniel but it's true this time he did not stand out. I was most worried about him since the song did not fit his age at all. He himself said he was lost. Preparations for this song should probably have started by an emotional brainstorming to find ways to get the emotions right, but they are all very young and though the producers gave good feedback they didn't help convey the emotional state to the kids.
Daniel did well, he had the most discreet part which was good considering he was lost, but danced and sang well - it was just "too ordinary". I'm very happy he gets another chance to grow, and hope the song next time fits him better - or that he will have the perfect coaching.

Personally, this was the team I felt the most connection with, personality and performance-wise.Their emotions while performing didn't look forced and had the most stable vocals. I was rooting for them to place 1st. They were considered as the underdog unit but didn't use that as a barrier for them not to perform well. Kudos to Jungwon for handling the team well. I never regretted you being my bias and also to the members who stayed grounded and focused on team effort to lift each other up. I'm sure Geonu will succeed in pursuing his dream. He'll have time for improvement.

I think the most painful thing about Geonu leaving is that you could tell how much the other ilanders loved him. He fit so well in with them all he made it feel complete. Rain saw it and I think he knew Geonu fit with them all perfectly. And I know there are things Geonu has to work on however the reasoning for him being eliminated felt so empty. Instead of focusing on bigger things such as dance or vocals, all they cared about were his facial expressions and I just can’t see why. This unit wasn’t shown at all this episode and it was like they doomed him from the beginning purposely. But it’s ok bc Geonu is an incredible artist and I will support him throughout whatever he does.

True now when geonu already left, iland wasnt the same as before, btw them didnt have a strong connection like they used to have, it makes iland feel like an incomplete group without geonu... a group was meant to be when each other of them can fill each other part, other’s weakness could be someone’s strenth.. so when it comes to a group, it wil fit perfectly....and the most painful thing is that now jungwon’s best hyung is gone, heeseung best friend is gone. Geonu is like a rock to them, that helps iland to be more completed and steady... As my observation, Geonu is the only one that i see Heeseung can rely on... Even though Geonu is not perfect but this is why we need a word called GROUP- not all of them have to be so perfect at all, but when they come to each other, it makes everyone to feel like that they’re belong to this place. Cause if everyone is too good, then u totally dont need a group. For ex: BTS, jin isnt very good as dance as others member, but jhope and jimin or jungkook can fill it... that what a group meant to be. Geonu has a really strong and straightforward personality, which i really admire from him, he has his own standard. eventhough he didnt raise his hand for heeseung in the beginning, he probably knows that he may gain hatred from heeseung’s fan. But then GEONU AND HEESEUNG? they r bestfriend, heeseung cried so hard cause of geonu’s elimination... when geonu can get to part 2, how happy jungwon, heeseung and other ilanders were? I wont ever feel like the same if geonu wasnt in iland anymore, it jus not make me feel like theyr a complete family anymore... Finally, facial expression is something that cant be learnt day by day, but to have such a good voice like his ... no one in iland could replace his position, his voice makes every song to be really powerful in its own way, and that’s his talent... to reach that high note is so hard but none of the judges praise him even once time? Only Rain knows, but sadly rain wasnt there in that ep so that he could save Geonu. I love Jungwon's voice a lot in this whole competition. Kinda sad Daniel looks nervous and is holding back, he was normally better than this, hope he improves. Jake continues to blow my mind with his expressions. It was sad Geonu was eliminated, I personally think he's more qualified than Taki.
Not hating on Taki (I really like him, he's adorable and sweet) but I don't think he's ready to debut. His skills aren't good enough to be in top 7. Also, he's emotionally fragile which makes me worried for him. I'm afraid that he can't do well in the Kpop industry. Some K-netizens are really harsh towards idols, this makes it more difficult to stay in this tough environment. But on the positive side, Taki is only 15, he still has a lot of time to improve. Since Big Hit is going to make a boygroup in 2022 (2 years later from now), he definitely has a chance to debut.
I'm really disappointed that Geonu was eliminated in this episode but we couldn't do anything about this. I think he was just unlucky. It's a shame that they had to eliminate the BEST vocalist in this show. Taki was lucky and smart at the same time. He was smart because he chose the right team for him (team Fake Love had popular trainees like Sunghoon, Heeseung and Sunoo). He was also lucky because he had the lowest score out of 12 trainees but his team won so he wasn't eliminated, meanwhile Geonu had the second lowest score. So if Taki had chosen the other teams (I need u and DNA), he would have been eliminated instead of Geonu.
Also, Daniel almost got eliminated. I was shocked, considering he's one the most popular and talented trainees in this show. I didn't expect his score to be that low. Anyways, congratulations to Daniel, Jungwon (he had the second highest score out of 12 trainees) and Jake, they made it. We only have 11 trainees left. Geonu didn't deserve to be the first one who got eliminated, though.

First of all, geonu is the best vocalist in iland. His vocal os stable when he sings high note. Rain also said, geonu is needed in the group. He just lack of face expression which can be improved from time to time.From the first ep I saw that most of the producer like to focus more on dance and face expression. If you see every eps there are only a few times they focus on vocal. I need rain back in iland because when he evaluate the ilander, he will focus on both vocal and dance. And i also like how rain teach them to improved their weaknesses. Sorry i don't how to explain, because english is not my first language
I feel the same way. Also, I don't recall anyone ever telling him to work on his facial expressions (at least they didn't show it on camera). He was just send off after i-Landers final performance in part 1 to do the grounders final performance and coulnd't really improve much. If he knew what was the reason for his first elimination he could have worked on it.
Sure, it was slightly awkward when Rain showed the grounders how to perfom the fire vocals, but it helped massively. And I feel like it isn't fair to only judge on how much the contestans have improved because once you are really good, you improve slower. And Geonu already is a stable vocal and a great dancer, he just needs to work on his facial expressions. And even though those aren't on point, he still got so much stage presence

I feel like the other I landers really don’t recognize him for his skill. I always hear “oh DNA team is so good” “k and Nikki are so good” “Heeseung is the ace.” I never hear anyone talk about jungwon or his team but he’s actually had the highest averages in scores. I really hope the I landers can recognize him for his skills.

@@satwikatattari9246 I think they knew how good Jungwon is even if they didn't always say it vocally..I still remember how amazed they are by his clear vocals during their reaction to Into the Iland song..it just that others are just too focused on dancing that's why they kept on mentioning K and Niki not knowing that vocals are really important too. So I hope people will vote for Jungwon since he is still at no. 6 on global voting he deserves the top 2 spot..like the current producers ranking..

I NEED U Team is so underrated, only few people are talking about them. For me they did the best performance among the three. Geonu may lack facial expressions but we are looking for skills in singing,dancing and rapping. This is not a competition for facial expression. I hope the judges are aware of that. Geonu is a big loss in their company.

방탄소년단ARMY now when geonu already left, iland wasnt the same as before, btw them didnt have a strong connection like they used to have, it makes iland feel like an incomplete group without geonu... a group was meant to be when each other of them can fill each other part, other’s weakness could be someone’s strenth.. so when it comes to a group, it wil fit perfectly....and the most painful thing is that now jungwon’s best hyung is gone, heeseung best friend is gone. Geonu is like a rock to them, that helps iland to be more completed and steady... As my observation, Geonu is the only one that i see Heeseung can rely on... Even though Geonu is not perfect but this is why we need a word called GROUP- not all of them have to be so perfect at all, but when they come to each other, it makes everyone to feel like that they’re belong to this place. Cause if everyone is too good, then u totally dont need a group. For ex: BTS, jin isnt very good as dance as others member, but jhope and jimin or jungkook can fill it... that what a group meant to be. Geonu has a really strong and straightforward personality, which i really admire from him, he has his own standard. eventhough he didnt raise his hand for heeseung in the beginning, he probably knows that he may gain hatred from heeseung’s fan. But then GEONU AND HEESEUNG? they r bestfriend, heeseung cried so hard cause of geonu’s elimination... when geonu can get to part 2, how happy jungwon, heeseung and other ilanders were? I wont ever feel like the same if geonu wasnt in iland anymore, it jus not make me feel like theyr a complete family anymore... Finally, facial expression is something that cant be learnt day by day, but to have such a good voice like his ... no one in iland could replace his position, his voice makes every song to be really powerful in its own way, and that’s his talent... to reach that high note is so hard but none of the judges praise him even once time? Only Rain knows, but sadly rain wasnt there in that ep so that he could save Geonu. RAIN SAID THAT GEONU IS 𝗗𝗘𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗟𝗬 NEEDED, if u read it till the end thank u so much for supporting Geonu ... i hope that his road will fill with happiness and success
