As odd as it sounds, this truck would stand out more and be more unique if you went the stock route. 90% of the people who restore these '55-'59 Chevy trucks restomod them or LS or 350 swap them. Believe me when I tell you the stock ones get more attention at the car shows. Literally just look up these trucks on google and all you get are modified ones, a correctly restored one of these trucks is super rare these days, and one done right will be worth more than your generic LS swap. You do what floats your boat of course but just bear in mind that a correctly restored stock truck is far more unique than even a restomod simply because of how many restomods have been done to these old Chevys.
@@christinewoodruff255 Yes, it's really an odd scenario. Shame it happens mostly to the 55-59 trucks. To me they were the best looking Chevy trucks ever built when new. It's odd that with the next generation, 60-66 there are plenty of stock vehicles, and also before, 47-55's there is a reasonable amount of original trucks. But in my experience an original-restored 55-59 truck is a real anomaly these days.
we are here watching, from Brazil !

Thank you for this! I don’t know how we missed this. Hindsight’s 20/20 lol but yea we’re happy with the route we’re going! God bless 🙏🏽
Exactly, that's why I leave mine all natural, they are now the rare ones, the modified thing is now boring.

Be different and put a Coyote in it
Haha dang already had plans to go LS route but I definitely want to do. 55 ford where a coyote might be just right 💪🏽😂 thanks for the support!
