My stepfather used to guide around this area in his younger years, he always used to say little pine was his favourite spot of all in Tassie. I’ve never been there myself but your video gave me a sense of being there and enjoying what he did. Thank you 🎣

Great vid man. I personally have found flooded edges are perfect for tailing trout, especially first thing in the morning, when they aren't as scared to come into the shallows. Watching the flooded grass for a few minutes before casting or wading to see if there are any moving fish pays dividends. Especially in Tassie lakes

Another quality vid mate. You not only do so many variations of fish species, you go the extra mile to do the early hours, and share your information and advice. Can't get much better than that brother. You're a true legend, and I appreciate everthing you do. Cheers, I'm going out for the weekend, in the Murray. So fingers crossed. 🎣🇦🇺💚

    Ok
We used have a holiday home near Little Pine it’s a beautiful part of the world up there .
Just wish I had known what to use in terms of flies it’s very local
Knowledge in each lake and a tip here and there certainly encourages beginners to enjoy the sport and boost the local economy there
I loved the Pennstock video too
Thanks for sharing a bit of your knowledge
I used to have a beer and game pool at the Bronte hotel great area I miss it

Flew in from Qld a month ago. Fished the same spot as I am familiar with little pine and many other lakes, since I lived there 30years ago. Have walked the western side, too. Well, one of those days, tried wet and dry blind fishing, just no fish this time. Since those past times 30 years ago, I have fished NZ, Russia - Kamchatka, Canada, Slovenia, Slovakia, Austria, Sweden, Thredbo river NSW, but I have to say Tasmania is really unique. This time I fished Tyenna river. Waded a section maybe 500m difficult task, but worse it. A session of 3 hours fishing caught 13 fish lost a 4lb on dry actually I fished only dry. Didn't like the river section below fruit farm in Westerway. It had different colour of the water as above the farm. Could be the fertilizes? Hope not.
Thanks for the video, it felt like walking and wading with you. Looking forward already for next year trip. 🤞🤞🤞

    Great video Lubin.
It’s been many years, but I’d love to get back to the pine.
You were up pretty early, was there nothing on the dawn patrol?
Used to be a few fish working those flooded edges with only a hint of a fin giving away their presence before the sun comes up.
Those early morning tailers are one of my favourite things about tassie.
    Keep the videos coming.
Excellent content and those opening sequences are crazy. No idea how you captured those esp that rolling cod.
    Wow!
