That's why I subbed You always figure out the best way to launch supercars and get the best times Thanks for the content :) Edit: also I think this method would work with Aventadors on dragstrip since they spin alot (like 60ft 2 sec)
As an EVO owner let me tell you that launch control also works in Sport mode. In that, traction is not regulated and the car spins without proper road surface like crazy. Depending on your track Corsa launch is faster although sometimes it boggs and falls flat onto its face. I feel like nobody reads the cars manual 😊
sport mode launch is really burn out mode, you will never get it to hook like that, I've tried many times on very sticky tracks with Toyos.... to avoid the Corsa launch bog, let go quick, do not let it sit on lauch mode very long...
That is cool that you found that trick. However, it really should be quicker than that with those trap speeds. I wish that car was the exact same but just AWD.
Brooks , put R888R on it and try it again. If it's fairly cold outside these V10 cars like to run hot . I've done 6 back to back runs in my R8 and the trap speed was higher by 1-2mph on the last 2 runs
The rear drive Lamborghini's are for the guys who prefer cornering over straight line acceleration. I hope you don't think the Mustang GTD is going to be a drag car.
You found a good thing, which is great! But I assume that this is works only in the area where you tested your Lambo. Because different types of surfaces have different grip and therefore require different settings of the launch...
Cold-air builds more power , warm pavement provides more traction . Then for less than what they've given the Pentagon to wage war . They could make every main highway in the United States heated . They could easily make it so that your car has the best of both worlds . By heating the roads in Pennsylvania . Where the air is perfect for building boost , and the roads are too cold to get any traction . They could make it so that you would never hear about road closures in Colorado due to heavy snow .
Dragtimes Awesome Video I think it's awesome that you found a way to make Huracan Technica run a Faster 1/4 Mile and I think that Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT ran a 10.4 1/4 Mile

Lmao Lamborghini definitely doesn't recommend you doing this. Not only is it ridiculous but you are requiring to take a hand off the steering wheel! Thats a while different problem itself. The technica is strange.

No
Congrats on the Revuelto! That is the car to get. Getting an early build for that car is critical.
This blue Huracan Technica is the absolutely best looking Huracan of them all.

That color is absolutely killer. It would be gorgeous on a lowered widebody Urus on some staggered wheels.
It's just gorgeous in that color, Brooks! Congrats!!!
thanks!
What a gorgeous car.
RWD has butter smooth cornering and steering feel.
I’m not the biggest Lambo fan out there, but I have to say your car looks really good, specifically the colour scheme inside and out 👌!
That is cool that you found that trick. However, it really should be quicker than that with those trap speeds. I wish that car was the exact same but just AWD.
Then it's gonna be an Evo but with different bumpers lol
I love that v10 under launch damn

I might try some R888's....
Cross our fingers for good weather on the 29th.
Brooks going all techno matador with that hacking of the Huracan bull..👍
Very impressive. I would be afraid to break something or mess something up electronically
Just get in your plaid which is next to this car :D there is no traction problems at all, I also got one and im amazed how it hook everytime perfect
How much should we wait for the 1/4 drag strip testing 😅

The Cayenne Turbo GT ran 0-60 in 3.1 and the qtr mile in 11.2 -is my guess.
Revuelto will be wild
Lamborghini engineers HATE this one trick...

2.8 for the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT
3.6 0-60 qutr mile 11.4
Wait if you are in Corsa then how come you weren’t paddle shifting. Can you turn manual mode off in corsa? I have two Huracans and I didn’t know
if you launch in corsa the car will shift for you....
@@DragTimes gotcha. I’ve been paddle shifting this whole time. 😂
Great video mate
And now new clutch? 😂
nope
🎉This is FUN! Love it!❤
That zero 60 time is lousy. My C8 with race mode with traction control on does 2.8 consistently.
Imagine this car with a supercharger 😎
Cayenne Turbo GT - 3.18 0-60?
What do you think of the 296 gtb running the quarter in 9.7 @150mph? Thats 2mph higher trap speed than SF90…
Fake news, car and driver "corrects" their data...

but can this method ! maybe can damage the car!??
why, you can turn traction on and off while you drive...
