Hahaha! When I saw you comment about your labels being crooked, I went to my jar of Bakuchiol cream and yes, my label is a bit crooked but I actually love that. It shows that it’s handmade and that the label was applied by a real person. I also really, really love the cream. My skin is really enjoying it.!
Girl 😂 Once upon a time when I was making kombucha, I ordered hinged lid jars from Amazon. They came in a box with the thinnest cardboard and no protective packaging. It was a STRUGGLE to get a refund because they don’t accept broken glass in returns, but they also kept demanding the item back…. Soooooo 🤷🏼♀️ This was before Kohl’s/UPS could take returns. It was terrible.
Random question since you test so many foundations... you know the way you mention some make your skin feel tight by the end of the day and you want to scrub it off your face? We'll having same issue with 3 of my favorite foundations like double wear and smashbox. Any suggestions, like a setting spray or facial spray over it that could help bring back moisture without ruining the makeup? Thanks!
I really like the old school MAC Fix Plus setting spray when I'm super dry. But what I find helps the most is when my skin starts acting that way under foundations that I can usually wear no problem is to do a few nights in a row of 7-skins, where you wash your face then layer as many layers of hydrating toner patted in one after another until your face can't absorb any more, then top with moisturizer and go to bed. Within a few days I can usually top off the depleted moisture in my skin and it won't be so dry by the end of the day.
Someday Shelly, GOOW products will be carried in both Sephora & Ulta! You will be driving a top of the line butt-kickin Jeep, brimming with rubber ducks & cats! All of the blood, sweat & tears will be a distant memory! You’ll be pitching a deal on Shark Tank, and everything in your line will be on Oprah’s Favorite Things list! I’d love that for you! 👍🏽. You are so busy, yet you still bring us Vlogmas! Girlfriend, I salute you! Have really enjoyed watching! Happy Holidays to you and ALL! 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
I agree!!! The original owner of Drunk Elephant started out working in her garage making products. Shelly definitely has the skills, knowledge and determination!
They'd be easier but they don't make the length and width combinations that exactly fit my various jars, so I'd be giving up that element. Regular labels wouldn't look bad, it just wouldn't look specifically fit to each container. It's one of those finer distinctions that can affect the impression between DIY and professional for some people. Others don't notice a difference, but I'm the type that notices 🤣
Yeah, Amazon packers can be complete idiots! I recently ordered a pair of tiny earrings. They arrived in a box approximately 48 X 20 inches! I’m not even exaggerating! I understand they're crazy busy, but give me a break!!! And don't even get me started on ULTA..... Awwwww .... "I'm just trying to make the best decisions I can with the information I have". Awwww Shelly, you're doing great!

Thanks, Kelly! I swear I've got maybe a 10% success rate at getting them applied straight 🤣
Yikes! So, sorry this happened, Shelly. Also, there's video proof of you opening the package with the broken items.
Thank you for posting Vlogmas.
I hope your weekend sales were great!

I just love your vlogs. 🎉❤
Your labels look amazing on my lotions and creams!! Great designs! 🩷
Thanks, Donna!
Oh I can’t wait for the ginger patchouli!!

Thank you for showing your labels!!! 😘

Hi Shelly, thanks for the video! So sorry about the jars!
I'm here for cutie kitties!
I feel like regular labels may be easier and cheaper than the cricut. There are all shapes and sizes. I do like your finished look though!
I wondered about that, but what I know about graphic design would fit on my thumbnail.

When you have a new mat press aging the front of your shirt it will stop that from happening
Ooooh I will try this! Thanks, Barbara!
Where did you find that bat chain please. So enjoyed tonight's Vlogsmas, you keep me smiling.
Amazon - $7.59 for 2 chains as I write this - amzn.to/407PL24
Thank you so much.
The print and cut option can be so annoying with circuit - maybe try a lighter tackiness mat might help reduce it sticking too much
❤

Ugh yeah Ulta has gotten SO bad at packaging the past few years.
Even if just a couple was broken no way could you take a chance a small shard getting into someone’s lip scrub what a shame
Exactly :(
💙💙😊
Ugh, that music. With the facial expressions. Hilarious.
Amazon just DGAF. 😳😬
Truth.
