Thanks for sharing your lived experience. Agree completely with the comment 'I am all of my mother and all of my father'. In my opinion if we have to be categorised in terms of race then there needs to be an acknowledgment of a mixed heritage identity. It shouldn't' be seen as we need to pick a side. Our identity is unique. When I identify as black, I'm making a political statement and affiliating.
