Wow, the part about "security" and "data privacy" and people using what I build is what I'm feeling right now. When I discovered the tech world last year, I dreamt of trying to build a tech start-up. Those things have been my biggest hindrance, especially since I'm still in college. It is nice to hear that I'm not alone.
I started with arduino and esp32 and didnt know how to code software or anything about hardware. Watching Paul Mcwhorters youtube series got the ball rolling right away and now after over a year of self education I got hardware down and Im writing a game in C++. good times so dont wait to start learning. its easier now than ever before
That's very interesting to know. I always like to share new moments and get to learn more about the way you're working. It's very inspirational to see other people's relations to the things they're doing, and it's actually very nice to get to know more about your work. Thank you very much for sharing this with us.
lovely as usual especially your voice and accent just charming i love to hear it and btw don't compare your projects to other people because there are millions of people and ofc somebody somehow would have thought of the same idea but in a kinda different way than yours so just work on yours blindly without ever looking at others and then after you finish you will see that it came out indeed different than the others and probably even better because even like the one you mentioned CapCut they still don't have these features of your project you mentioned like removing when your eyes roll and you say certain words and all that with just text orders i think that's really amazing and we would love to see something like that
really worth to watch..thanks for sharing.. I also wish to see the ULM diagrams!. expecting more videos like this from your side ( one of your true followers )
What would be cool is a video editor that auto cuts silent parts out, while also slightly overlapping the parts for a smoother transition. But if it could auto cut silence it would already be very useful! 16:11 I'd watch a deeper dive. Since your channel isn't heavily coding focused you may want to keep the code part light and talk more about your though process.
Just wanna tell you, the thing you said about passion. You do seem really passionate about this UA-cam thing, at least that's the vibe from the video. Hope you continue this, I subscribed :D
i would like to watch "your technical video that you did not release". So what i am trying to say is that there would be people wanting to watch it. Nice video by the way and yes soldering is very important.
You talked about security threats & data privacy. How did you learn all of this stuff other than from working in companies? I'm in the exact same situation right now where I can build apps, but I have no clue about how to deal with these kind of things.
Short answer is that most software developers aren't all that good at it. It might sound paradoxical, but to be good you need to be "bad". If your first thought about something isn't "how can i abuse it", you will at best think a bit about how to secure things against well known issues. That's blue team material. To get to read team, you need to be willing to "poke and probe" your own system in search of issues. To get to black team you don't really care about the system and are willing to do anything to break it. As far as apps, give OWASP a good read. OWASP MASVS and OWASP MASTG isn't all there is to know, but should at least give you a glimpse on "things to think and worry about". And how much deeper you need to go if security is the goal. Which usually isn't, people just like to pretend it is.
working in companies and dealing with it first hand really really helped! Outside of that, i guess i would just read articles and watch youtube videos about such topics to keep up
Keep going! Don't give up! Have you thought about creating an interactive program to teach people on how to learn how to code, data structures, and algorithms that can adapt and change the lessons according to how the students (users) interacts or responds to the program? Basically a learning platform that can adapt to the students way of thinking! Do something like that!
"I am right all the time because I have more experience screwing things up than you." When i first started my ego would get hurt when I screwed up. But it eventually occured to me that the more I make mistakes A and B, the more likely it is that I don't make mistakes A and B in the future. Instead, you move onto mistakes C and D, which are oftentimes more complex & nuanced mistakes that require you to learn new things to debug. I think this is why programming & just software engineering in general can be so fun. There's no real repercussions for screwing something up outside of prod environments, so you can keep trying over & over. There's so many things to learn as well.
No project is a waste of time as long as you are serious with it. Although they cannot bring actual results or be brought into production, they always give you experiences and knowledge to become a more successful developer or start-uper in the future.
I totally understood when you said you took the hardware side of things in that arduino project 😂. Would you ever have any interest in helping one of your followers in my application? 8 years of experience 👏
I recently upgraded my PC to 16 GB of RAM and i think I would be able to make an AI model and push it to a couple of million parameters(not hundreads of million though)
@@lifeofgaurz I started my journey with the hugging face's NLP course and have been recently inspired by the LTC network paper. So I am trying to make a model that will understand human emotions with as low parameters as possible but my god, too much maths🫠

relatable! hope your start up works out!

aww thanks so much! really appreciate this comment
show us the technical side please, great video as usual!!!
Thank you!! Yay will do very soon then!

I wanna see the uml-diagrams!!
😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes please do share the technical video as well. It’s always fun to talk about architecture and technical design.

Thank you!!
Also great video and love the thumbnail 🎉
Thank you!!
You are motivating me so hard to start a UA-cam channel around software engineering lol great video and insights keep up the entrepreneurial spirit😊
do it!!

There are some nices courses on coursera that you can get financial aid + search for the things you want to learn

Thank you! Ya i did consider an educational tool actually but too much competition 🤔
Wow, you r speaking everything in your mind without hiding anything..

well said!
I want the technical video
The car project sound like a lot fun. Hmm, I wonder if I could do as a small project for fun.
Ya it was, why not!
The idea at the end sounds a lot like Gling, there you'd have something to benchmark against.
You're so right! Thanks!
I totally understood when you said you took the hardware side of things in that arduino project 😂. Would you ever have any interest in helping one of your followers in my application? 8 years of experience 👏
for electrical engineering you needed to see the oscilloscope
I had to google what an oscilloscope looked like and omg yes we did have to use this during labs
Hey! Thanks for the stories 😊
Glad you like them!
Thank you.
Please do more videos to how to improve coding/ programming skills💌💌
Will do!
@@lifeofgaurz Thank you for your kind response. Actually, these days, I struggling with coding/programming.😥😥😥
You can do it to gain experience but if i could ask will it be a standalone app or website or be an integration into an already existing app.
Thanks so much studying software engineering.
Aww thank you! All the best!
Hi, pixegami has a video on how he automated his video editing maybe you can watch that and get some inspiration from that video
yep, soldering is very important
2:34
This is exciting 🎉
who knows if you are this time too?
A greet video as usual.
Thanks again!
Great job but if you stop the background music it would be better
Good Video.

oh that's sick! what does your model do

Wait so you are from Singapore ?😊🎉
Lesson 1 soldering sucks haha
I think even this video is edited using your Software.... Because I can see a lot of hiccups and very hard cuts
HAHAHA some parts yes, work in progress
very true
Are you malaysian? lol
close, singaporean haha
are you indian ?
i'm singaporean indian
