Björn has explained this in many interviews. You also make it sound like she was forced to sing it - that’s a bit harsh and of course not the case.
I grew up with abba. I was the ultimate ABBA fan and my sister still is. The information was from numerous interviews he gave explaining the song. He may have changed that view over the years but it was well known. She has also said in interview that it was hard to sing. That was the end of ABBA

I grew up with abba. I was the ultimate ABBA fan and my sister still is. The information was from numerous interviews he gave explaining the song. He may have changed that view over the years but it was well known.
She has also said in interview that it was hard to sing.

This song was written and recorded right after the lead singer & the composer divorced. It was the last time she recorded or performed with the group. She hasn't even participated in any of the Mama Mia movie & Broadway play hoopla. She's now a recluse who doesn't travel ouside of Sweden.

From my experience. Its mostly played at Pubs here, not your typical bars. Then the odd moments in shopping areas and thats about it.
Lost Hearts Lost Minds ABBA is still played on Satellite TV Music channels and is heard on Radio Stations that broadcast on DAB that will play 70’s and 80’s music here in the UK.
