Henry Cavill: An actor passionate about his craft, loves the fans and respects the source material Hollywood: you're out Ezra Miller: an actor with severe mental issues who assaults random people Hollywood: 😍
Eh. I would have fired Cavill as well, after his Wooden performances weren't well received by general audiences. There was zero mainstream buzz for his *return* in Black Adam... audiences just don't care for that version. Reboot is needed.
It's baffling to me how you always put the most braindead comments yet you get the most likes lol. On another note, yeah that was the best moment of the movie...
A lot of the flash villains make the Batman villains look realistic! Or they are extremely dull - like Grog, Sharkman or whatnot, the only really good ones are speedster-based like zoom / reverse flash WHO WAS IN THIS MOVIE they just somehow failed to tell us who murdered Barry Allen's mom, somehow ...
@@dgillies5420 in the TV show almost every major villain is just another speedster! The multiverse is apparently littered with them, not to mention the various members of the Allen family and others. There's really nothing that special about Barry!
Absolutely agree about the multiverse plotline. Its become a lazy way for writers to write out of any corner or just introduce more plot with a hand wave.
@@whysoserious4274 Putting the blame on the wrong place. Multiverses have existed in comics. Multiversal stories aren't inherently bad, but the executions can indeed be bad. People fear that in the name of Multiverse stories, there will be pretty bad films.
It wasn't always like that. It's only been in recent years that time travel and multiverse plotlines has become an excuse for lazy writers to cut corners and not explain their work. Avengers endgame was just a bunch of nonsense. Would've been more entertaining had they found a magic lamp.
I never liked the concept of a multiverse for 3 reasons: 1. It makes things way too confusing. 2. It expands the scope of the setting so much that the stuff we can focus on seems insignificant. 3. The existence of alternate Earths and alternate versions of yourself makes your actions and choices seem insignificant.
I liked Ben Affleck and Keaton in this movie, but Ezra is a bit insufferable at times. The fact we couldn’t even get a proper goodbye to Cavill was heartbreaking. He literally started the dceu……
Henry Cavill's Superman could have been a MASSIVE star in the DCEU. But due to WB'S jealousy envy and incompetence, they completely screwed a talented actor.
"What if we took Flashpoint, the best 'reboot' storyline that actually tells an intriguing story with a dozen bittersweet moments and an ending that manages to be both heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time, and made it into an awful mess?" "I love it. Can we get the absolute worst person in Hollywood to play Flash?" "You mean Ezra Miller? Consider it done!"
The story about Bruce Wayne dying in the assault and his parents coping in different ways was amazing and tragic. His father became Batman with guns and his mom went crazy from grief and became the Joker.
Honestly Ezra's a piece of shit but there are much worse people in Hollywood. I'd say the people who were all friendly with Epstein and the like are probably worse. It's just a matter of exposing them.
Is it just me or did he have this stupid look on his face through the whole movie. I just tried to watch it because it was free today on Amazon. I was cooking my lunch while I started the movie and couldn't make it through 15 minutes. Bad acting, the weird look. From what I did see I actually really really liked the TV series immensely better.
From the few trailers I saw at work, it seemed the entire marketing campaign was to get people in based on nostalgia for Michael Keaton's Batman. Kind of ironic when the main selling point for your superhero movie is a completely different superhero.
That's because Keaton is touted to be one of the most popular former DC stars next to Reeve's Superman. It was always a marketing ploy to use that to try and get the majority of the fans to back this movie.
Of course they use the likes of Keaton to shill out for this dreadful steaming pile of turgid nonsense. The marketing departments long caught to the fact that modern fandom is more interested in 'brands' like Star Wars, Star Trek, Batman than actual movie craft. Take Star Wars and Indy. The original trilogy came at a particular time and place, and was a zeitgeist series of movies, coming shortly after Vietnam and the Oil Crisis, stagflation, social and political upheaval right as we enter the peak Cold War. People needed escapism, especially after a run of bleak movies like Soylent Green, All the Presidents Men, Klute, so Star War and Indy took film making back to the Golden Era of Hollywood. But, by the time we get to Jedi, while the idea of kids making there own movies with action figures is a nice one, we then get the Ewoks, and the birth of 'product' rather than art. Fast forward to the prequals and sequels, there is nothing but 'product', now cynically guised under a 'progressive' banner today. Sadly kids today don't have their Star Wars or Indy or Back to the Future because I am afraid to say that my generation, who saw Star Wars in 1977, never gave up their toys. Kids are now just the next on the conveyor belt of 'consumers'. Then we wander why young people are film illiterate, because today we need seven series of the same box set in order to have 'character development', or nihilistic about the world because there are no genuine hero's with few exceptions, male or female, anymore. When you have nothing to believe in, no stakes in society, and no virtue to uphold, you end up with the prolefeed we get, crooks like Trump, Biden, AOC and Sanders reaching the top, and cults like MAGA, BLM, ANTIFA or Proud Boys, who look and sound the same, at least to my ears dominating the social discourse.
@@beatsbyelvis6890 beats me to it, but at least it still made sense, although the comic origin is way better, doomsday was just got out of a hole and start rampaging, so mysterious and bad 455

I like that the big Zod fight was in the desert so they didn't have to animate much of anything. And they still managed to make the sand look like trash.

@@jiggymario8161the point is it could’ve looked great. In the video it was compared to iron man and didn’t hold up. But it could have and should have, pointing out the incredibly shitty aspects of the movie is fair game. But yeah the movie was garbage and probably shouldn’t be given the time of day
…….it’s his opinion. It’s underperforming and it’s got a B Cinemascore so clearly he’s not alone in thinking that. I’m glad you liked I, personally did not, but damn it’s okay to disagree
The most unbelievably frustrating thing about this movie is that at no point does Barry think of catching his mother's actual killer. I thought he would. It seemed like a pretty obvious thing to try.
But...why? Why catch the fucking killer when you can stop the killing from happening altogether? Even if he did catch the killer after the fact, how does he prove it was them?
I haven't read DC comics since after "52" but even I'm old enough to remember Barry Allen worked for the Central City Crime Lab. You'd think that'd be what he would use his skills for in the PRESENT. This is another reason why I hate the Ezra Miller Flash, he's less Barry Allen and more of a Joss Whedon attempt at Wally West.
It helps that the comics have an actual Justice League with an actual HQ. Plenty of opportunities to brainstorm with the other thinkers of the League, and less time trying to stop an angry, super-powered alien with a glorified airplane meant to stop thugs.
Yes, but he’s also prone to bringing technology to big fights. I’m reminded of that moment in the justice league unlimited show where he just inexplicably has a bomb on the bat plane that can freeze hundreds of miles within absolute zero. His explanation is simply I had to freeze the Gotham river once. It’s one of the best Batman lines I can think of. There’s no precedent, that never happened in Batman, the animated series. It might’ve happened in one of the comic book titans, but it never happened on screen. But you very much by that at some point Batman had to freeze the entire Gotham river. Why? Probably the joker, maybe scarecrow, maybe something completely different, but the man had to freeze the river, and he had a bomb to do it. And then he made another bomb and kept it on the back plane just in case you needed to freeze something else. In modern society, being the strategist means having some really fun toys to play with. And Bruce Wayne can afford some pretty fun toys.
That was a really good scene in an otherwise average movie. I remember thinking that I would’ve liked that scene. A lot better hadn’t been Kevin Conroy as Batman and Michael Ironside as dark side. As far as I’m concerned, those are the definitive voices for those characters. Rest in peace, Kevin Conroy.
To be honest I laughed my ass off when he put the baby in the microwave. When it started raining babies, I expected some type of gag, and it was delivered LOL
The interesting part about this whole concept, is the fact the animated version flashpoint paradox... Just completely outstanding. all DC needed to take that animated movie and turn it into live action. Script was unbelievably solid following the comic book and the take on Thomas Wayne was dark but brilliant. Everyone wanted to see zoom and that was also not in this terrible version. I highly recommend watching "flashpoint paradox" animated just observe how easy this movie would have been if they just delivered that to live action.
I been saying this for fucking yrs that scene with Barry and Bruce at the end of that movie was probably the most heart felt Dc moment ever put on film it still tears my big baby eyes up till this day and I’m a grown ass man it’s just great writing
Yep, and they wouldn't even have had to recast Michael Keaton, all they had to do was call him "Thomas Wayne" instead. They could have still kept Sasha Calle as Supergirl, her storyline is basically the same as in the cartoon anyways.
Strongly agree with your criticism of the misuse of Batman. He's supposed to be an avatar of fear. You don't know when and if he'll jump out of the dark. When your fellow criminal walking beside you after a job will suddenly get pulled into the air and vanish. Batman in a mass battle in the daylight makes no sense. It also makes him very vulnerable.
They should have used Reverse Flash as the villain. He’s basically the main villain of The Flash, and the whole point of Barry going back in time is to save his mother from Reverse Flash.
So wait, they didn't even use Reverse Flash, in this movie?? About him going in time? WTF? lol. I thought that was going to be a given or the main storyline.
Reverse flash kinda did nothing in flashpoint? Barry assume Thrawn screw the timeline but it was Barry himself, reverse flash were just there to taunt Barry of his failure and stops him from fixing it.
@@kail4997 totally agree with that. But Reverse Flash acts as a commentary on Barry and him being a saviour which he is not in Flashpoint as he screws up the timeline. Flashpoint does not work without Batman being Thomas Wayne and Reverse Flash being there. What they have made in this movie is just total mess.
@@stanknight9159 No, they didn't. There wasn't even any type of yellow flash mystery. Dad went to store. Mom shouts for help. Everyone finds her with a knife in her stomach dead. Nobody asks who killed her or what happened. Not even Barry.
Its amazing they keep someone like Ezra Miller who has caused so much trouble and has multiple run-ins with the law yet doesn't want someone like Henry Cavil who just wants to do justice for his character and stay true to the source material.
The sad part is that this an adaptation of the "Flashpoint" comic story that's actually REALLY good. Barry tries to go back in time to save his mother only to find out the world gets screwed up beyond all reckoning and that she HAS to stay dead for the good of everyone. Knowing he has the power to change time itself, but can't use it to save his mom is a cross he has to bear, and it has a deep impact.
@@suparibhau The difference is the movie has 2 versions of an actor (Ezra Miller) we can barely tolerate ONE of and a villain that means absolutely nothing to the Flash as a character. This movie plays like Ezra Miller is a kid hopped up on sugar and caffeine, trying to beat a video game that keeps looping because the final boss has god mode enabled. The original Flashpoint features an enemy that has great relevance to Barry Allen, Zoom, and the character arc for Barry is fantastic. The movie is a poorly adapted mess of excessive CGI effects that, for me at least, is a pale imitation of the original Flashpoint comic miniseries.
There’s nothing they can do to Millers image to make him likeable, or less criminal. Even with his mental health issues he should _not_ be allowed to be protected.
Studios need to quit protecting lunatics. They should have cut Miller loose, canned the movie and saved themselves hundreds of millions (can you spell tax write off).
Robert Downey Jr's charisma and acting chops made Iron Man, who was mostly unknown to general audiences, one of the biggest names in the Marvel lineup and a major global phenomenon. Ezra Miller managed to transform one of the most likable characters in the DCU into an insufferable, annoying, mess. It's quite an achievement.
Yeah, I love how Marvel was forced to use some unpopular heroes due to licensing and managed to turn them into the phenomenon of the decade. Then DC panic they would miss out the superhero hype, then rushed out a bunch of superhero movies using all of their top-tier, iconic heroes and managed to ruin every single one of them.
Actually thought the same thing about the actress playing Supergirl, she's one of the things I thought I wouldn't like, but I actually walked out feeling like she's the one person I wouldn't mind seeing in another DC film. I'm actually hoping they cast her in something that gives her a bit more to do, to see how she is .
She was surprisingly good for the little she had to work with. Also, they didn't go down the whole girl power approach with her, unlike her CW counterpart. She's not belittling the men around her and is a competent fighter without being a Mary sue. Also, I've seen the actress in other things and was extremely excited for her casting since day one.
Nope. She looks nothing like Supergirl. She's not even remotely attractive. Supergirl was the typical blonde beauty. Another attempt to replace attractive white characters, an attempt that small minded individuals like yourselves are eating up hook, line, and sinker.

I liked him in Justice League. But the current movie has 2 problems: first is the actor’s off-screen behavior, which legitimately ought to be a factor in people’s decision whether to support the movie or not. Second, though, is the Zoidberg effect (Or the Dory effect or the Mater effect, if you prefer). There are secondary characters who don’t have a lot of lines, so most of them can be awesome one-liners. Then you slot them as the main character where they’re carrying most of the dialog… and suddenly they get really tedious. And on top of that, they made two of him for this movie. At least when Zoidberg got tedious it was just a 23 minute show. Dory and Mater ground on through full length movies.
They need Batman doing espionage while the gods are battling, it makes more sense. While the Justice league is battling it out with Brainiac's(for instance) army, Batman could be infiltrating the ship intending to "steal the plans" or "blow up the machine". That way you can still keep him badass on a relative scale.
That is mostly what he did in the cartoons. You just described it perfectly. The main bad guy unleashes monsters and damage to keep the League busy while Batman sneaks on up him. There's some decent monologue and then they fight or they don't.
The way Batman works in this kind of scenario was epitomized in Superman/Batman: Apocalypse. Instead of joining the fight against Darkseid directly, he discovered a strategic advantage over him, and simply compelled him to stand down without facing him in combat. But of course the DCU seems allergic to Darkseid.
As you say, Batman can absolutely work in Justice League or team-up stories as a strategist and tactician. _Superman/Batman: Apocalypse_ is a based on a story from the Superman/Batman comic. There are tons of other stories in the comics that the movie writers can look at to see how to make Batman work in a setting outside Gotham. The DCEU doesn't just seem allergic to Darkseid; it seems allergic to adapting stories from the comics at all. It's stupid to have decades and decades worth of stories to take as inspiration and not use any of it.
Drinker made a good point about the DCEU: stop trying to be Marvel. DC has different strengths and it needs to capitalize on them instead of trying to be a second-rate Marvel.
The justice league animation movies actually do a phenomenal job showcasing Batman in a way that is believable to be a hero of the entire earth instead of just a city. He seems the most in control and reliable to get the job done when other more powerful actual super hero’s can’t do it.
Completely agree. Same as the comics - at least the older ones (since I don't know the new). Grant Morrison's JLA run is a perfect example showing why Batman matters - even without superpowers.
Completely agree. He may be human, but he's basically at the peak of human capability, so he while he can absolutely get wrecked, he can believably not get smeared. He has value because he's as good as he is at what he does. Barry himself says that the Justice League needs Batman because he's their strategist and tactician. If Superman is the tank, Batman's the general.
My favorite depiction of the justice league has to be in throne of atlantis. Batman is smart, intelligent, knows what's he's doing, doesn't talk unless he has too. Superman is kind, also smart, strong. Wonder woman the same. Flash and cyborg being the youngest are funny a joketive. Also their costumes are awesome, definitely the best
You'd think one of the best ways to redress the criticisms, which is all DC ever does with every future movie, would be to have Henry Cavill Superman fight Zod and not kill him. Like No Way Home did with its villains. This movie wants to be No Way Home, but doesn't know what makes that movie great.
In the DCAU Flashpoint movie, the world ends so the only way to save it is to stop himself so I guess for this movie it's a little bit similar. Idk how these movies keep on flopping when half of the work is done via the comics which are already storyboards, costume design, and writing.
@@lucacasamassima8146 Because they refuse to use whats been already done, because these obnoxious, narcissistic twat writers they can do BETTER than the original stories which made these franchises successful in the first place. Comic books, warcraft, star wars, the list goes on. They all had plenty material to adapt, and they failed time and time again.
He did try to take out Zod, but everytime he did, TIME didn't allow it. Meaning Supergirl and Batman were destined to die in that moment. It was a good movie, 3njoyed it.
I do think it was overhyped by those who saw it early. And it’s definitely not “DC’s best movie” as some early viewers quoted. Then again, to each their own I guess. However, although it’s not my favorite DC movie, I had fun with it in a popcorn flick type of way even though it was wonky at times.
I think people are downplaying what a technical and creative achievement it is to make such an expensive movie look like it’s being rendered in real time on a sega dreamcast.
I must be a simpleton! Was expecting something really bad, but I actually liked the movie. It's entertaining, it's actually funny without cutting off the serious part of it; there's a good balance in that aspect, which makes the journey of negation, grief, and acceptance actually sincere.
Yeah, you may just be a simpleton. Low expectations was definitely the move though. Erza miller is just a terrible choice for the flash, they deviate hard from what the flash is actually like The animated flashpoint movie is just wildly better than this remake. But that would of requires making wonder woman a bad guy and that was never gonna happen in this current Hollywood culture.
exactly .... You know when a movie is good, it s when even with the wokism part, the terrible cgi, you have some great moments, and good writing in my opinion
Even I don't get why people hate it, I actually like the multiverse introduction here than in Marvel where Spiderman just decides to make people forget him.
I know we're all excited to see Michael Keaton as Batman again. So am I. But is anyone else besides me happy to see Michael Shannon as General Zod again??
I loved 89 Batman, I was 13 when it came out and it was HUGE and I saw it 4 times in the cinema BUT I could care less about ANOTHER Batman in ANOTHER Comic Book Movie! And I could care less about Zod , Terrance Stamp is the only Zod I cared about.
When Ezra Miller was initially cast in the DCU, I remember saying "well he's not *my* Barry Allen, but what the hell? Let's give him a chance." And I went on to defend him in the role. HOW WRONG I WAS.
Still questioning how this movie wants to be No Way Home, and wastes money on CGI to paint actors who are dead as alive and well. But somehow doesn't have the idea of bringing Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist. What was so wrong with the Arrowverse? The writing and drop in quality. The actors were fine in their portrayals, much like Henry Cavill who was murdered by his scripts, not his performance. You have time for an Adam West cameo. But not Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist. Not even a passing mention. Great job. Then again, they dropped Henry Cavill from this movie. Amazing work. WB has its finger on the pulse.
What I did like is Supergirl wasn't like the Marvel/Disney toxic feminist type. She was her own character being a badass and the fact she's a woman at no point was the focus. In her interviews she mentioned when she met Henry Cavill she asks him "Did I make you proud?", talks about just playing a good character, living up to the standards set by the character and just doing a good job. Zero pandering to the woke. Just because of that I actually hope to see her continue the role and would like to see a Supergirl movie. Not to mention she looks goddamn beautiful in that suit and makes no attempt to hide the fact women have, certain features. If this was Marvel you'd already see "supergirls suit is too tight, outdated, it's objectifying women!"
She was imprisoned by humans. So she should have a chip on her shoulder. I enjoyed dark supergirl. Also, I really hate that all of y'all keep using the word "woke" for everything y'all hate.....all y'all have turned into what you hate....SHEEP. In fact WOKE is just another stolen colonized word. Blacks have been using woke for decades....SMH....the anti woke people are sheep. And don't know it
I´ve never heard about this actress before, and honestly, now I´m looking forward to her new roles. After all the mockery about the famous leaked pics, I have to admit she looks quite good on that tight-fitting suit 🍑👀
Man I’ve heard a lot of reassuring things about this supergirl when tbh it was my main concern heading into this film. Would you recommend I still give the Flash a watch though?
The Drinker is great, but I gotta say I enjoyed this movie. Maybe that's because my interest was more casual, so I enjoyed the casual cameos and I'm not yet burned out on the multiverse, nor have I been paying much attention to Ezra's real-life antics.
Anytime you become a movie critic you forget about just enjoying the film and instead focus on areas that are lacking/ cinematic mistakes. I’ve enjoyed many terrible films and that’s because I just switch off my inner critic and just enjoy the show. Captain Marvel was one film I just couldn’t get into though. It was awful
Definitely agree. And I regret not going to the theaters to see this one - due to the bad hype - because this movie was actually a lot of fun! I like this 'awkward' (instead of 'smart-ass') version of the Flash (Ezra plays him well) and the cameos were a treat. The CGI was very cheap looking, sure, and the plot was all over the place. But there are way worse superhero movies out there! And this one deserved a better reception. I hope it at least becomes some sort of cult classic, later down the line...
I can imagine what kind of outcry would come if a female actress' physical appearance was described so...intensely. At least the writer would be called a creep.
Tell me about it. Story time: there was a post showing Sasha in a black super girl outfit and this guy made a joke about about her looking nice in her outfit. Nothing harmless and I wouldn’t say it was creepy. But this random person made it their entire life mission to say that the comment was apparently “creepy” when the OG commenter didn’t even say anything bad. Thankfully many people (myself included) called this person out on their BS but that person seems very passionate about what they think. So yeah. Can’t even say anything good about attractive women anymore because say 1 thing, even if it’s harmless and not creepy, and people will still say opposite🤦♂️🥺
I've never understood how DC can't just lift their IP into movies. The Flashpoint DC animated movie is amazing. Literally, just do this!! I'm watching on Wednesday but already feeling a bit reluctant
Can you imagine if they actually adapted it properly? Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Thomas Wayne's Batman, Lauren Cohen as the Joker, Aquaman & Wonder Woman fighting to the death, what a missed opportunity
I don’t know what to think because I actually liked the movie after I got over Batman fighting in the day. I was touched by the plot and was shocked at Batman’s final words. Although the CGI was horrible.
To me its not bad or good its a generic super hero time killer movie like all of them pretty much. Bad cgi is not a deal breaker either because its supposed to be a flashy super hero movie with skybeams and shit.
Nerdrotic informs these guys that they need to do a negative review, so they pull out the AI talking points. Lol. Drinker questioning Batman fighting aliens. Well that's how it's gonna be in a justice league type thing. That's what what it is, pal.
@@asif9t9 Yeah I don't understand that "Batman vs aliens" take at all tbh. If drinker actaully knows about dc comic characters and cartoons, he would know that batman fighting aliens and godlike beings is a very common occurence for him when teamed up with Justice league. It gets so ridiculous at times(not in this movie though) that comic book readers have given him the name Batgod, when he pulls of the most insane feats when a human like him shouldnt have been able to. I really just don't understand the hate for this movie. It was a good time, with some great cameos and characters. And the "bad" CGI everyone complains about was clearly as intended for comedic value and to represent the distortion of the speed force. You can see in other parts of the movie like where Supergirl is figithing Zod, or barry is running really fast that everything looks just fine.
@RMil-mx5op. Because it’s not a good movie, maybe enjoyable. Drinker doesn’t say one can’t enjoy it, just is not a cohesive movie and given the universe that it’s supposed to reside in that’s the point.

I don't know. The dude's 71. It was kinda pathetic seeing his body double/CGI double leaping around like a young man. They didn't even give him a technologically advance suit to combat his age. I mean the dude would have put his hip out at his age doing all that!
@@dhenderson1810 Let's be honest, he'd probably only be in that film for a total of 5 minutes. People are talking about a real Batman film with him as the lead
I actually found Ezra okay in this because the 'original' Barry was a bit more reserved and less obnoxious than his young self. So they had a good dynamic going on there imho. Pretty smart choice.
I mean Spider-Man across the spider verse was a great movie. Same with the Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3. We aren’t tired of super hero’s. We are tired of bad story telling.
Best use of Batman would have been as a strategist. Remember "Call it, Captain" from _Avengers?_ Steve gets everyone doing the best job for their abilities in about two seconds, amplifying everyone's effectiveness, letting everyone know there's a plan, and that plan can work. Batman is a tactical genius. He doesn't have to be the strongest because he can tell Supergirl, who IS the strongest but very inexperienced, exactly the right thing to do.
Yep. Batman always had a plan. And a backup. And a backup to the backup. Him not having superpowers demands that her rely on his wits. Superman just flies in and punches stuff really hard. Flash just moves really fast. Batman has some badass tech and resources, yeah, but in a world where enemies who can tank a hit from... well... a tank, and then punch said tank to death with bare hands and you're just a standard human being, you've got to be able to bring your A game every time.
The problem with DC Movie Batman is that they refuse to make him as smart as he is in the source material or the animated series. He works just fine in the big events there because as Barry says he's their statagest and greatest detective.
Keaton was a horrible Batman. Bruce is sposed to be muscular, 6' 2", athletic, handsome Man. Keaton's a short, puny, balding, shriveled prune. Dude had to have molded plastic muscles on his suit for Pete's sake.
@@mattstorm6568 superhero movies weren't as high budget at that time, nor was injecting your ass with testosterone for a role a norm, so I think it's alright. Keaton's acting was good and he didn't appear that short in the movie
There was one scene that i just absolutely loved with Keatons Batman in the giant battle near the end and thats when hes on the ground and fights the big krpytonian guy. I loved seeing him climb all over the big guy, slapping bombs on him, and then swinging around his body. It felt so right for Batman and I absolutely adore that scene for some reason.
That was awesome. Even if the kryptonian woke up later like that being has tanked missiles and defeated soldiers with ease and batman managed to outpace him and knock him out using explosives in close combat. Even the lack of super speed is reasonable because the kryptonian was actually a bit disoriented from the attacks he took from batman and his plane. One of the most impressive batman feats for sure.
@@RustyBrickStudios Cavill was being whooped by a much stronger and ruthless Faora while fighting Nam Ek, hedid not have the slightest idea about how to fight a bigger opponent, or how to fight at all. Cavill in MOS only knew one thing, to punch, and that he did. Assuming that Keaton has defeated big bads like Nam Ek before, I think a Batman who is well above 65 years old must have defeated Clay Face, Killer Croc, Bane and more. He has an idea as how to how to fight off a giant who is slow but strong. I feel like Ben Affleck's Batman would wipe the floor with Keaton's Batman in a hand to hand combat, even if both are of the same age considering just how much faster Batfleck is. He struggled against Parademons, well, they're fast, they're like those insects that just won't die and Batfleck still beat them. Batfleck was a nuisance to Doomsday and was fighting an army of Parademons alone while the League handled the stronger opponent.
What's funny about Barry Allen is that without having read about his comics and the few things I've seen about him (the Injustice games and Flashpoint Paradox), you expect an easy-going, chill, funny simple dude, that is clever and humble. A regular man equipped with a good mental, a sense of justice and principles, granted an awesome power that is the Speed Force. And it makes him a great figure. But it seems Warner can't see that and roll with it. He's probably one of the simpler heroes out there and they can't even do that.
I mean, one of the Justice League shows had Flash encounter one of his enemies (think it was the Trickster) while he was at a bar because he needed information, and just.... sat down, talked and listened to him. Asked him about how his day was, asked about his meds, gently reminded them that they're in costume and that they needed to keep up with their meds, and just treated them as a mentally unwell individual with struggles while also getting the information that they wanted. I don't see the movie Flash having the patience, understanding, and humanity to do that.
Stuff like The Suicide Squad, Peacemaker, The Batman etc. is why people watch DC. They want to see directors go absolutely bonkers with whatever they want. A giant underground starfish filled me with more dread than any other villain in recent times. The Suicide Squad didn't have the best CGI but it more than made up for it with cool shots and good writing
I was surprised he didn't have a cameo given that a) the guy who played his dad and Jay Garrick in that series, having played The Flash in the 90s TV series gets a blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo and b) Ezra Miller made a cameo multi-verse appearance in the TV series.
I've been saying this for years. Never liked Ezra as Flash eve before all this drama, always loved the TV Series Flash, though. To me, that guy is the perfect casting for Flash so far
_The Flash_ was doomed the moment Ezra Miller's crimes went public. DC could've salvaged it at least a little bit if they had denounced his crimes instead of hyping up this movie to distract people or making excuses for them. Even from a business standpoint, I cant comprehend why they would think that's a good idea.
This movie gave them the perfect chance to recast Flash but instead they cast him... twice. They had a chance to show Ezra turn into the bad guy flash and an alternate universe flash (starring, oh I don't know, the TV show guy?) who gets defeated and the new guy sets everything right.
They already shot the movie and poured too much money into it to scrap it. DC was screwed from the get-go. They had to release the movie if they wanted to at least break even
After watching the scenes from the movie, I have to ask myself again: When you take away the cgi, no matter how good or bad it is, what is actually left from todays Marvel- and DC-Movies?
I get the premise of that question, but I think it's rather reductive. I get that it's not *_literally_* just disable all the CGI and then play back the movie, would it still work, but there are some rather core parts of rather good movies that simply necessitate CGI. I mean go back to Iron Man 1, the scene where Tony is booting up the Mark 1, and fights off all of the terrorists with the improvised on-board weaponry, flamethrowers, etc. isn't just spectacle for spectacle - it holds real impactful weight for the narrative. I think the better wway of phrasing the test would probably be "if you took away everything except the CGI, how much worse would the movie be". If you took away everything except the spectacle from Iron Man 1, it's magnitudes worse. If you took away everything except the spectacle from the Avengers, it's magnitudes worse. If you took away everything except the spectacle from Civil War, it's magnitudes worse. On the other hand, If you took away everything non-CGI from The Flash, it floats around neutral, hell, it might even get better.
While I don't disagree with your points, I still really enjoyed the movie. I thought there were good character arcs. For example, ALL of the flashes ultimately realizing the importance of the lesson they learned from Mom: 'not all problems have a solution, sometimes you have to move on.' There were scenes that set up later important plot points, etc. Plus I have a weakness for the time paradox plot devices. :-)
When I realized that the guy that knocked Barry out of his time travel at the start was ultimately the version of himself stuck in an infinite loop of trying to save the world, my appreciation for the movie went way up. I agree this time paradox plot and Barry's character arc were super cool and to me make this better than most superhero trash we are subjected to
I appreciate that there are at least a few others that can see the good points instead of jumping on the hate bandwagon because it’s currently the thing to do.
I am not defending the movie the producers said they intentionally had awful cgi in the time travel scene because it was from Barry's point of view. Something about distortion.
it was glorious,,, i only watched the movie for michael keaton but my gosh, any bit of enjoyment from him was just slaughtered by the cgi. it was at the point where i just ended up laughing at any bit of cgi they threw in.
@@savvi3128 _"We were terrible on purpose"_ is absurd in premise but from Hollywood I believe it. It takes real skill and dedication to churn out such garbage year in and year out with such consistency. I can only imagine how much work it is to go line by line, imagine by imagine and make sure nothing of quality got through.
You know, it's amazing how fast Miller has fallen. He was INCREDIBLE in We Need to Talk About Kevin and The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I was also honestly impressed with him in Fantastic Beasts. But then again, he was basically playing himself in those films, so maybe it's just who he is in general--he can't actually do work that requires him to go outside of his own selfish narcissism.
Yea, I was really rooting for them at the start of their career, as they seemed like they had a strong road ahead. Then when they started getting into all that trouble and turned into the ODB of acting, my hopes for them felt more and more misplaced. All Ezra can hope for at this point is to pull a Robert Downey Jr. and find some way to legitimately atone for their walking disaster years.
Yeah, Keaton Batman's description of how new timelines work was one of the film's most intriguing aspects, creatively describing the concept in a simple way.
Let me explain this in reverse flash's words... Barry, when you cross the sound barrier, you cause a sonic boom and when you break the time barrier, you cause a time boom.
But it extended into it being parallel universe with such fundamental differences nothing to do with his changes so it was pretty poor execution of time travel.
@@flatebo1 thats the problem with speedsters, its so broken OP that to have an opponent you need someone that can move just as fast, which in DC means either Superman, some other Kryptonian or being on the same powerlevel OR another speedster ... guess which is easier to pull off - they tried that exact thing in this one by using Zod ...
Keaton as Batman is far and away the best part of the film. If anything, I hope the studio gives us a "Batman III" with Keaton as an "Elseworlds" film.
It still blows my mind that we live in a world where actors like Henry Cavill get released from their roles, but people like Ezra Miller get to keep their projects with barely a slap on the wrist after everything that happened.
Probably because Cavill was also Poorly received by Mainstream Audiences due to his *Wooden* performance. Make no mistake, Miller isn't keeping anything. Flash Flopped. Miller is done. ⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡
I still think no superhero media beats the animated series of the late 90s and early 2000s. Spiderman, Batman, Justice League... They all delivered entertaining and compelling stories through a believable medium. Live action just does not deliver the same things.
Absolutley agree with this - the animators and writers from that time seemed to just understand the characters better, and they also made them so much more...mature? Human? Like they were heroes you could look up to that were smart as well as good at hitting things
It can, it's just that the executives at Warner don't give a shit, and they keep on hiring people to make these flicks who only just kinda give one because they're paid to.
Supergirl was my biggest concern with the flash because I know how modern movies are but she turned out to be my favorite part of the movie. I wish they would have given her more time tho because they could have made her so much better

I'm surprised they didn't use Reverse Flash for this. His whole deal is traveling back in time to be the Flash's greatest nemesis because he idolizes him so much. And you could even have his motive to be to force Flash to undo the change he made because it results in a world where Flash isn't a hero.
I think it’s just funny that the plot: “Barry saves his mom, but then has to let her die to save the world“ has been done multiple times already by the show “the Flash“
It's almost as if that is part of the source materials. It's like all the Batman films having Bruce Wayne's parents murdered in front of him which starts him on the path to becoming Batman.
@@Paulafan5the main difference is that Bruce’s parents dying has never been the entire central driving force of a show/movie. It’s a catalyst event, but we’ve never had an entire movie that focused on that plot point. Meanwhile, with flash, we’ve had COUNTLESS takes on the Flashpoint outings. Comics, tv shows, cartoons and games (to a lesser degree). We’ve had so much that when we compare this to those, its clear that its one of the weaker takes on the flashpoint event. At least thats how I see it.
I think it's funny that the plot: "Superman struggles with being of 2 worlds." "The Avengers have a new big bad to beat after they get over bitching at each other" "The Flash does Flash things revolving his parents." Insult intelligently or leave it be. Be better.

I finally saw The film and really enjoyed it. I agree regarding General Zod being the villain, which was half baked. Keaton stole the film but needed to be in the film more and in the manner you said.
I teared up at this movie. The part where Michael Keaton says, "I'm Batman" and Ezra Miller says, "Oh, we're using our made up names, huh? In that case, I'm They/Them and Me, The Mad Goose Wizard.
The big problem with multiverses is that nothing matters: every universe in which the heroes win is matched by one in which they lose, each permutation of wins & losses happens an infinite number of times, nothing can change the overall "balance". Dialing it back a bit, for a cinematic franchise it means nothing is fixed, no precedent or canon matters because any conflict or irregularity can be chocked up to a parallel timeline that happened to be identical except for Detail XYZ that the writers forgot about. Alternate timelines can be interesting if done right, but the right way is rarely the easy way.
Your comment strong reminds me of owlman. The alternate batman who wanted to wipe out everything coz nothing matters in the multiverse. I found a quote: Owlman : Every decision we make is meaningless because somewhere, on a parallel Earth, we have already made the opposite choice. We're nothing. Less than nothing.
DC's multiverse doesn't work like that. Their is a multiverse, yes, but the stories we're seeing take place in the Metaverse. It's the world that serves as the basis for the multiverse so change on it affects what happens in other universes. DC also has a local multiverse consisting of the Metaverse and 51 other universes. What happens on those worlds is _not_ random. People here are quoting Owlman saying nothing matters because of the multiverse. In the comics Owlman was delighted to find out that no matter what happens there's always an Owlman on Earth-3. He'll exist no matter what happens. Also, DC has always treated alternate timelines and alternate universes as different things...in the comics anyway. _Flashpoint_ was an alternate timeline story, not a multiverse story. For some reason the people who made this movie decided to smash both concepts together and it's needlessly confusing. If you use the mechanics from the comics going back in time in the Metaverse and changing something that alters the future, did just that: altered the future. It's not an alternate timeline, it's the new main timeline. As the metaverse is the basis for the local mutliverse those 51 worlds will change to match the new timeline but not in random ways. For example the aforementioned Earth-3 will always feature an evil version of the Justice League. Going back in time in the Metaverse and fixing what was changed resets the timeline (eliminating the alternate timeline) and the local multiverse follows. The Metaverse concept allows the writers to play with a multiverse while still allowing that universe to have stakes.
I cannot believe they didn't kick ezra miller from the movie after all the crimes and abuse he was charged with... But Johnny Depp was treated like sh*t after one vague accusation
This movie is the final chapter of Ezra Flash in the movie. His story is finished because he is stuck in Clooney timeline, his father is freed and his crush finally date him.He just decided to accept his fate and stay in that timeline. And since this is multiverse, The Flash will be casted by someone else in the future.
The sad thing is that this movie was an inferior adaptation of its source material (Flashpoint Paradox). They took a fantastic story and just got it wrong.
In all fairness, Keaton's Batman not having an arc is pretty par for the course. He didn't really grow or change at all in 89 or Returns, aside from having different love interests, but as a person, he experiences no real growth or change. Oddly enough, it was the first Schumacher Batman (Forever) that actually gave Batman any sort of ethos, and I think Batman's missing arc in Flash is only noticeable because we're now used to superheros having personal growth, where in the late 80s/early 90s that wasn't really expected.
Keaton's Batman doesn't need to have an "arc". He's a paragon, someone at the top of his game. Bale's Batman in Begins does cause he's becoming Batman.
And despite everything, and I don't honestly think The Flash was all the bad, (not great but not really terrible) it wouldn't make any sense for Keaton's Batman to have an arc, the entire point of his role in the film would've been completely ruined if he did have an arc. And even if this was really good, I don't think there is any manner for which Keaton's Batman would've made sense having an arc and not hurting the film.
There was simply neither need nor time for an arc. It would have also been quite annoying to have a a long build up for a character doomed to die who overall has had his life and wouldn't have cared to go back in action if not for that one thing. Not everything needs the standard arc and character developement, especially not Batman and even less in a Flash movie, where he IS a side character. You can only put so much into a ~2 hour movie and of course what you give one character you have to take away from another. If anyone fell short it's Supergirl, but even that was okay. It was a critical situation and they had to find this one weapon they needed to win - what failed. That the movie had the guts to go that route was actually interesting. Most movies would throw in a threat like an army of Kryptonians and then have it easily crushed, probably wil telling some stupid jokes - or an army of kids.
Yes, ‘I fell…I fell forever’ truly awe inspiring character development in that movie. I have a hard time believing you typed that comment with a straight face.
On the plus side, the film does send a clear message that this is it as far as these characters go. Keaton is done. Affleck's been suplanted by Clooney whoze universe, Ezra Miller included, is not getting revamped. Sasha Calle's been killed multiple times on screen in this film, just so the audience knows she's not coming back (Keaton died as many deaths, but his were mostly implied rather than shown). Warners also let us know that they had many itterations of past DC characters, going as far as to acknowledge Nicolas Cage as Superman (!) as if inferring they can always create new version, which is preferable in this case. As Keaton said, you mess with trying to correct the past and you get spaghetti.
The flash is more or less written to just swap whoever is under the cowl and they still enjoy him. Not that each flash isn't a different character, but they all clearly act like The Flash it isn't egregious.
@@greynotgray6808 pretty generalist statement they made tbh, Wally is more popular simply because a lot of people saw him as the flash. But Barry is more in line with how I prefer superheroes. It's more important to realize that for a lot of fans they don't even know the differences between them.
Flash is one of my favorites in DC.. but i never bothered to watch this movie because it has no meaning now. It is a dead-end. Dceu died as soon as they put JLSC into the bin!
The thing I just can’t understand about these super hero movies is that there’s a mountain of source material. There’s some really well written comics out there that they could virtually copy and paste onto the screen and even I would be ok with it as long as it was executed well. I wouldn’t care if I got to see some of my favorites almost line for line as long as it was through a different medium. They go off and try to do their own thing and it hasn’t worked in years
A great example of this is manga and anime. There's a reason anime is so popular and it's because the storylines are already proven to be good in the manga.
It’s such a shame because the actual flashpoint comic is phenomenal and one of my favorite stories from DC. Why’d they stray from the fan favorite story so much?
The problem I have with DC movies.. there is literally NO consistency in a lot of their franchises. How many reboots? How man recasts? How many movies that went NOWHERE.. Just awful.
Batman would make an awesome strategist in some HQ in a major battle scene, especially the battles where the CG gets so muddy the commands he's shouting out are the only way anyone knows what's going on, and the ability to change his voice-overs in post-production could add a great deal of ... flexibility ... to a script that has to go through fifty or sixty rewrites before release. Putting him in the Batwing, just hanging back from the action, would make a lot of sense.
That’s kinda the purpose he served in ZSJL. While most of the others were fighting Steppenwolf, Batfleck was off shooting parademons from a distance to prevent Barry from getting hurt while building the charge.
I hear a lot of people talking about Keaton, but can we take a moment to appreciate Sasha Calle's portrayal of Supergirl, who is surprisingly not annoying and very likeable, especially during her scenes with Barry which are brief but tender. It would be a grave mistake to not keep casting her for future projects because she's certainly has potential (and certainly not least because she's very attarctive also)
The fact that a modern DC movie actually showed Christopher Reeve on screen again warmed my heart a bit, but it was handled like hot trash. For the forefather of superhero blockbusters, he deserved so much more than atrocious CGI and a memberberry cameo.
@@screamybingus707 it would be my pleasure, so there's a moment where the Barry sees the multiverse and multiple worldlines all sorta ripping open and crashing into each other, we see Christopher Reeves and a few other cameos shoehorned in which were nice to see but i hate why they were there. So we see him in the world look at the rifts, and he looks great but yeah that's all i remember. pretty forgettable even tho i saw it 2 days ago
I don’t agree with the flash not being a popular character/hero but I do agree with what you said about Ezra miller. The flash tv show with Grant Gustin was awesome for a while until the writers absolutely gave up and completely f’ed it up and Grant does the character great imho.
It's really good. This will be a move that after everyone sees it after it's on video they will regret it and wish they saw it on big screen. I have seen it twice. I don't think people realize why they had George Clooney at the end. I think they are hinting that the reason his movies existed and are set in a different tone is due to Flash mucking up the universe. Basically "retconing" the retcon. I wonder if Kilmer or Bale was considered 😂
Bale was rumored for forever. It wouldn't surprise me if they tried to make it Bale's Bruce Wayne, but it didn't work out or they couldn't get him to do it, so they went down the George Clooney route.
They wanted Henry as Superman and bale as a Cameo but the deal for James Gunn to take the helm they wanted him to cut Henry out black Adam was supposed to be in this movie too !!!
Ok, finally watched The Flash last night with zero expectations. I didn't hate it. Considering the production hell this movie went through, I was surprised. I enjoyed the general premise of letting go of the past, which ironically worked better with all the call backs to other movies and shows. Plus, at this point, any mainstream movie that doesn't relentlessly denounce me for being a straight white male, I'm willing to cut some slack. I didn't hate the movie, and the movie didn't hate me. That'll have to be good enough.
There is some love and care put into aspects of this movie: Michael Keaton's batman, for instance. It's the same costume in that he CANNOT move his neck from side to side. They don't play it up for laughs, but there's just one shot that's pretty blink-and-you'll-miss-it of him doing a full turn. It doesn't hide itself, and it feels like exactly the level of homage you'd expect. The movie is based heavily on flashpoint, obviously, but the plot point of Superman landing in Russia is actually a clever, subtle homage to one of the most popular DC elseworlds stories: Superman - Red Son. It feels like an homage, but also some added misdirection for people who know the story. It's an interesting way to keep people on their toes about what's being changed and what's not being changed. Even Keaton's return as an aging batman after hanging up the cowl in his old age feels like a reference to The Dark Knight Returns, arguably the most popular alternate universe story in a comic ever made. And that George Clooney gag at the end was actually really good. Really unexpected cameo that felt earned.
Clooney is present because Barry changed his dads court outcome by getting dad to look up toward the store camera by putting the tomatoes on the top shelf. Otherwise, the original footage doesn't show dads face and it couldn't be used for an alibi. The one small timeline change most seemed to have missed but was important.
Gunn made a comment that going forward Batman would be played by a previous actor. It makes sense if its Clooney. Keaton is 71 now and if we're looking at connected stories over several years, Clooney (at 62) would seem a better bet.
I felt that the opening of this movie where it was just the Flash constantly complaining about having to save people and whining that people don’t constantly thank him for being saved was really weird for a supposed super hero. Spider-Man and Superman didn’t have such massive egos that they needed praise and thanks from every single human they saved. Just a personal gripe I had about the opening.
Flash even in the animated movies and series has been seen complaining about not being useful in saving people and is more the janitor than anything. It's in the pre-Tomorrowverse DCAU, Injustice and Justice League series, and it's because it's true. He's happy to help he just wants to help more than he does
Looks like im the only one who enjoyed the film😅. I thought it was a decent watch, especially considering the state of DCEU and the journey of this particular movie. One thing i can't understand is, what's up with DCEU's VFX? Man of Steel and BvS did it perfect, and then it's been downhill since. Terminator from the 90s did it better than the Flash and Aquaman films.

Even the movie posters had more Batman than Flash.
Yep. Keaton is likeable. Miller is not.

@@Baiano29and u wanna know why??

It would have been better if she got home with the can of tomatoes only to find out the Dad actually did it 😂
"My motives are beyond your understanding..."
@@_GeneralMechanics_he's actually doing that in this movie.
In the animation, Batman usually acts as the strategist. He is generally the play maker to bring the big gun, Superman, into the fight.
The bit where Batman makes fucking darkseid back down by outsmarting him is legendary.
Batman is the prep guy. Tower of Babel show us if you give Batman too much prep he can killed everybody in the Justice League.
To be honest Ezra Miller seems like the kind of person who would put a baby in a microwave.
Best description of Ezra miller ever!! 😂
To be honest I laughed my ass off when he put the baby in the microwave. When it started raining babies, I expected some type of gag, and it was delivered LOL
I see was not one worried about that

@@veemon9280 Jeffrey dean morgan was suppose to be Thomas Wayne but they changed that.
This shows me that ultimately, Marvel & DC stories work better as animated movies than live action films.
All superhero movies should only be animated from this point on. No more live action.
Batman would deal with Zod in the shadows. Infiltrate his base / ship or something and lie in wait for the perfect moment to strike.
Instead he died, twice!
Batman in daylight doesn't really work.
Bruce goes where he's needed
"Never during the day, Alfred."
-Frank Miller's Bruce Wayne, Batman: Year One.
Don't forget the fact that Reverse Flash played a role in Flashpoint as well.
The director screwed up by not including him
Reverse flash kinda did nothing in flashpoint?
They probably had too much footage with Ezra already to start over.

The original Flashpoint features an enemy that has great relevance to Barry Allen, Zoom, and the character arc for Barry is fantastic.

Indeed she was nice
She was surprisingly good for the little she had to work with. Also, they didn't go down the whole girl power approach with her, unlike her CW counterpart. She's not belittling the men around her and is a competent fighter without being a Mary sue. Also, I've seen the actress in other things and was extremely excited for her casting since day one.
Nope. She looks nothing like Supergirl. She's not even remotely attractive. Supergirl was the typical blonde beauty. Another attempt to replace attractive white characters, an attempt that small minded individuals like yourselves are eating up hook, line, and sinker.

Ezra Miller as a super hero is the weirdest casting choice of all time

Bro, have you seen Young Justice? By reading your comment I think you definitely need to watch it
That is mostly what he did in the cartoons. You just described it perfectly. The main bad guy unleashes monsters and damage to keep the League busy while Batman sneaks on up him. There's some decent monologue and then they fight or they don't.
You can't post that. They have a writers strike going an that is illegal. They can sue you for it.

There is not enough representation in this movie.

How was he not any of those things...?
Ezra Miller was cast as Barry Allen, but he was trying and failing to play Wally West.
Blame Snyder. He's the one who cast the walking shitshow known as Ezra Miller.
@scottcarroll9201 😅🤣🤣aww, snyder hurt you too?
Stuff like The Suicide Squad, Peacemaker, The Batman etc. is why people watch DC. They want to see directors go absolutely bonkers with whatever they want. A giant underground starfish filled me with more dread than any other villain in recent times. The Suicide Squad didn't have the best CGI but it more than made up for it with cool shots and good writing
I have often wondered if it wouldn't have been a better idea of Warner bros to use the actor who played in the tv series The Flash.
He's 1,000x better than Ezra
I've been saying this for years. Never liked Ezra as Flash eve before all this drama, always loved the TV Series Flash, though. To me, that guy is the perfect casting for Flash so far
There might be some contract issues and they wanted something different.
Grant Gustin made like 8 seasons of the Flash. Guess no one knows the character better than him. But naaa, we got Ezra...

That’s part of the issue.
It would have been easy to do a proper flashpoint movie with Thomas Wayne batman. WB fumbled everything for an entire decade.
Owlman!? Is that you!😂😂😂
Your comment strong reminds me of owlman.

Consider this, we did see what Batman's alter ego would become if there weren't a Batman. Scary, isn't it?

@@sunraider0_0 Clooney was a f*cking awful Batman. Keaton is far, far superior, even now.
Copium much...
I found the movie quite enjoyable
I felt that the opening of this movie where it was just the Flash constantly complaining about having to save people and whining that people don’t constantly thank him for being saved was really weird for a supposed super hero. Spider-Man and Superman didn’t have such massive egos that they needed praise and thanks from every single human they saved. Just a personal gripe I had about the opening.
Flash even in the animated movies and series has been seen complaining about not being useful in saving people and is more the janitor than anything. It's in the pre-Tomorrowverse DCAU, Injustice and Justice League series, and it's because it's true. He's happy to help he just wants to help more than he does
Isn't that the same plotline from Ant Man 3 with him not feeling appreciated for saving the world like Captain America and Thor?

Looks like im the only one who enjoyed the film😅. I thought it was a decent watch, especially considering the state of DCEU and the journey of this particular movie.
One thing i can't understand is, what's up with DCEU's VFX? Man of Steel and BvS did it perfect, and then it's been downhill since. Terminator from the 90s did it better than the Flash and Aquaman films.
