I cried a little with you when you were walking through the burn just north of Spanish Peak. I went to junior college in Quincy and that area holds a special place in my heart. A lot of friends lost their homes to that fire. On the flip side, I appreciate you being open about your relationship with God. I was baptized and raised christian. I had an experience at a Christian youth camp which led to me thinking that I was actually an atheist. I also struggled with drug and alcohol abuse for many years. These past few years have been a journey back to faith and healing. I feel like hiking has brought me closer to God. I've solo section hiked the PCT over the years but it's always been a dream to attempt a thru-hike. I have a PCT long distance permit for this spring and I know that I have to at least try. Thank you for shining your light and please keep on singing! With love
Well you were looking forward to getting out of the snow. 😉 but that part of the trail can be seriously warm. And right after you went through those sections it got hot enough to have some serious fires. The trail is not horrid through there. Not a ton of blow downs or anything. Good trail to night hike on. Between there and Lassen is pretty cruisey miles. Not many blow downs. Some through Lassen this year but nothing like nor cal had this year.
I just love you. I’ve been following you since you began the trail and anxiously awaited your videos. Thank you for being authentically you. I feel like I know you
Couldn't help but think that all those miles and miles of manzanita which goes up in flame in seconds and is absolutely the accelerant of wildfires :( The heat can be excruciatingly awful. Especially in the high country. Stay safe.
@mark poley yea back story on that is I found Puffy P’s glasses on the trail and returned them to her😂 I would say the most frequently lost item on trail is sunglasses😎
Random question, what is that buff you wear around your neck? Also will you do another gear video showing what you would up with at the end of the trail?
It’s the lightweight merino Buff brand🙌🏻 I don’t know if I will do a gear video right now because I’m knee deep in training for a ultramarathon next month and still trying to finish my videos from the PCT😂🙌🏻 I would be happy to share that info with you though. Pretty much ditched the ice axe, spikes, bear can and had a summer clothes, no puffy, only fleece, and a lighter shelter and sleeping bag. If you want the details I can send it to you just PM me😉
One life time experience,, living the life. Thanks for sharing.

Sad scenes after a fire. But the flowers make me 😍happy
As always thanks for having us along and inviting us to your camp fire.
This is our back yard. Miles and miles of this to go.
The PCT with my morning coffee. Now it’s gonna be a great day! Thanks for posting!✌️

Keep singing I got readdicted to that Down to the River to Pray song after you said it. Or its take me to the river...wash me in the water.

Thank you Sarah 🙂 Appreciate you and Jonathan my friends, stay safe and take care 🙏 ✌️
Wow, it went from winter to summer in a few days. The train looked cool. Stay well and be safe.
I made the video!!!
It was sure sad to see that large area that was burned. I hope you used that stream to cool off.

Hope you and Jonathan are having an incredible day!

I made a through hike video that was meant to be funny. I've had some cruel comments. Please watch and tell me what you think. Thanks 👍

Love your videos! Gorgeous scenery. May I ask what camera you used? The pictures are very vivid and stable. Thanks
@Terri B used the IPhone 13ProMax and a small ultrapod, but I lost it and never replaced it😂🙌🏻 IPhone works great!
