my mom ahs been driving down the road and almost hit someone that was parked on the side of the road because they had their lights off sadly shit like this happens all the time we just dont hear about it that much even if the lights were on from far away its hard to see rights on the side of the road unless their bright as hell...even watched a video on here once of a semi that didnt see a car on the side of the road because mofo had his lights off he was killed instantly
So sad my brother unfortunately saw it happen he called it in he said the lady was easily going 65 getting off the ramp she needs to be charged definitely distracted driving .
Charged with what? Because she drives a Tesla? What if it was a ford 250 pickup? Not going to change the outcome.. just a tragedy.. 65 mph? Did your brother have a radar gun or speed tracking device?
A tragic and rapidly growing trend because of EVs. Pedestrians can't survive an impact from an EV that weighs thousands of pounds more than it's gasoline counterpart.
Remember all the virtue signaling about defund the police 4 years ago. Then the pandemic nonsense and threats to keep jobs by taking the shot. Well here we are, so you can thank anyone who supported that bs for contributing to lack of LEO presence anywhere.
Did the out-of-gas truck have its hazard lights flashing? How about road flares? Were they standing in the road to access the fuel tank or way off on the shoulder? How about some journalism.
looking where the vehicle was parked they would have been standing on the road while gassing up. is that really all the further over they could get? you could coast a 100 feet after running out of gas, why didnt they actually pull off the road?
Gee, would it have been reported the same way if the lady was driving a PONTIAC?? Why stress the point on the make of vehicle?? Trying to influence the watchers?? 🤷🏼♂️ 🤔
@kennethwilliams-dl9gi, running out of gas shouldn't be a death sentence. Tesla driver has some responsibility for not paying attention to the road ahead.
There are not enough facts reported to draw conclusions at this point. However, it is important to re-emphasize that some states have "move over" laws that require you to move over one lane away from emergency vehicles, police vehicles, and utility (repair) vehicles with flashing lights or slow down to 20 mph below the posted speed limit if you can't move over. A few states have extended their "move over" laws to vehicles that you observe that are broken down or stopped when the driver, their passengers, or others are out of the vehicle but appear to be working on the vehicle or attending to the vehicle in some way.
FSD would have detected the people and probably swerved.. what color clothing were they wearing? Plus they were standing in the road… just a tragic accident
That reporter needs to get his head out of the biased clouds.. would he have said Chevy blazer? Probably not. Just a large SUV. So why vehicle specific….
Like to see her phone history and if she was on it at the time
Absolutely!!!😮
I'd like to see your browser history.
She was.
@@rickgeller6043 what is wrong with you kid ?

Very sad. People need to pay attention.
If you can't exit the freeway (and you CAN exit the freeway with a flat tire), get as far off the road as you can.
So sad and hope father and son RIP. Pray family can deal with their losses.😢😮

Is this a joke? If it was a motorcycle, they still would have been killed. This is freeway speeds we're talking about.
I'll wager there was a mobile phone involved and FSD was enabled, which we know is still full of bugs.
Don't jump to conclusion. What until the facts come in.
wtf that mean so you not gonna charge her 🤔
The distracted female has VIP connections...No Charges
Always pull wayyyy off the freeway or wayyy off the side of roads!!!
Horrible situation, anytime of the year.
Its the holidays, a lot of people aren't making it home for em
This Happens all the time.
Just another day on our dangerous, no cops available to bust idiots, roads! Many prayers out to this family for this senseless loss. 😢
The amount of crashes here is atrocious. This state should be ashamed of itself.

I really need to know what color Tesla it was.
Did the out-of-gas truck have its hazard lights flashing? How about road flares? Were they standing in the road to access the fuel tank or way off on the shoulder? How about some journalism.
Look at the gathered data, when driving on interstates and state roads, full attention is demanded, hitting 2 people beside a truck, really?
Even gas vehicles have range anxiety.
While driving no phone's allowed ppl...!!!

You're really blaming the dead people you must be the husband of the Tesla driver.
Wow 🙄
Probably texting…..
Ppl need to Not run like Hell...!! Or change the City's Speed limits...!! Strictly no phone's allowed while driving or gassing up...!!!😮
Who is responsible??
Gee, would it have been reported the same way if the lady was driving a PONTIAC?? Why stress the point on the make of vehicle?? Trying to influence the watchers?? 🤷🏼♂️ 🤔
Full self driving is flawed.
possibly standing in freeway lane. fault of the deceased for letting the vehicle run out of gas.

Was she using FSD?

Too much intelligence in the whole situation. 🤡🌏

Better to call AAA or the police.... after all, it's all about safety.... sometimes it's just hard to be seen💔🙏
