When I was finally released after my accident and brain surgeries I had no assistance but crawled my way back up the ladder despite the efforts of the pill pushers to keep me as an inmate somewhere. Said I wouldn't walk or work again and to go on government handouts. Perhaps you should let the patients get angry, it was a good motivator for me.
