Western States 100 - Ace running the victory lap (mile 100)

From Robie Point (mile 98.9) to the finish line (mile 100.2), Ace had just 16 1/2 minutes to cover that distance. Sounds easy to cover 1.3 miles in 16 minutes but after running 99 miles, most runners can barely walk. Ace chose to sprint the last mile and finished at 23:54:34!!! An incredible "come from behind" finish to reach a sub 24 WS100 finish! Congratulations! (Ace was the FINAL sub 24 finisher this year!!!!)
