This is my exam piece for tomorrow and we have to do the entirety of the song by ourselves accompanied by the track. I’m terrified and excited at the same time
Monty Pig of the Doodle Clan it went really well, thanks for asking! I got a good mark, pretty much just got a few pointers for improvement overall so it was a good turnout
This was one of the several song options that my choir had to pick from, but barely anyone picked this song, everyone picked the song rise up by andra day, and at first I was really upset because this is amazing, but now I realize just how hard this would be for our choir.
We're talking away I don't know what I'm to say I'll say it anyway Today is another day to find you Shyin' away Oh, I'll be comin' for your love, okay Take on me (Take on me) Take me on (Take on me) I'll be gone In a day or two So needless to say I'm odds and ends But I'll be stumblin' away Slowly learnin' that life is okay Say after me It's no better to be safe than sorry Take on me (Take on me) Take me on (Take on me) I'll be gone In a day or two All the things that you say, yeah Is it life or just to play my worries away? You're all the things I've got to remember You're shyin' away I'll be comin' for you anyway
At our choir festival this year roger emerson was one of the adjudicators and now our choir class is singing this song for our end of the year concert so I’m listening rn to practice with it lmao
My choir is doing this but my dumb chorus teachers decided to remove all tenor singing parts so all I do is dum dum the whole song. It also sucks because I live this song
MaxPower24 As a tenor, I hate when people underestimate our part. I’m singing the tenor part for my school’s small a capella ensemble, and I can’t fathom this arrangement without it!
Raychel Gonos im in my schools a capella group (7 people: 1 bass (me), 1 tenor (my friend), and 3 sopranos and 2 altos. Since I’m the bass, I had to do the percussion part and my friend did the solo. It’s funny cause our director was like “who wants to do the tenor solo?” And out of pure curiosity I raised my hand and asked her to play the part. She did and I’m like “oh I got this!”. My voice cracked on the first word then I stopped and gave up. Everyone laughed, especially my tenor friend beside me. He got the part of course and sung it perfectly. Also, that was in front of my crush too lol. Man, so glad I’m a bass lol
@@JorWat25 because on the last page, starting in the last measure on the first system, the bass part has a divisi (when one voice part splits into multiple parts)
This is the greatest thing I've ever heard
^prob not a bass

Man, Roger is good. I'm sure Fletcher is on the male solo.

@Ace Royal Definitely, have been watching on kaldroStream for since december myself =)
@@raychelgonos right!!! I love the tenor part!! In my choir, the tenors over powered the entire choir 😂😂 but I loved their part in this song

We’re doing this for my school’s a capella ensemble (there’s 5 of us, my instructor joins us when we need him). I’m sing the tenor part!
loved it!
This sounds like the pentatonix version
A Dancing Piece of Bread that’s cause it basically is
It is. If you look at the front cover, it says by Pentatonix. Roger Emerson arranged this for Pentatonix.
I know right? Why, they might as well slap Pentatonix' name on it! Oh, wait--
That would explain why it's SATBB, rather than the more typical SATB.

I'm doing this in my choir and its so difficult
I dont understand the tenor solo. Why does that need to exist in the song?
So difficult
Check out Hoe Down by Tom Porter for TTBB.
I hated doing this song in choir. I’m a bass
Studying the tenor part right now
ChubbyPotatoTV interesting

So am I lol but for me it was easy to remember
I had to learn how to beat box so my choir could do this song lol
Pentatonix but with more people

Nothing a bunch of middle schoolers can't do :D
What middle schooler is gonna hit a D2😂

@@lieutenantbawls growling
yeah in ms we are doing this
Maybe a middle school can do it... It just may not sound as mature and structured as a HS
i can do this no lyrics and better in acapella all 3 parts
