@MidwesternTrapper Thanks buddy! Will just be having some fun over the next couple weeks, and hopefully I catch some fur doing it. Appreciate you watching.
Wow, the best time of year is beginning, enjoy it! I have my fingers crossed, have the best of luck and catch a nice cat and as many fisher as possible. Do you have any limitation on them too, or is it free? And Merry Christmas!
Well thank you very much!! Really hope to pick up a nice big Tom. Have a few good ones on my line, just need them to come through. We're only allowed one Fisher also. Some places in the state you can catch a fair amount of them but on my line there definitely not as thick. Would be really cool to catch one! Keeping my fingers crossed! I appreciate all your support, and Merry Christmas to you and your family!!
@brianmuska6471 Brian, if I do a baited hayset, I shape the hay like a loaf of bread. In the middle of the loaf, punch hole wallowed out and bait in lure down the hole. Trap is down wind side of that bedded in hay, and covered in fine cut hay. My next video i do I will have both kinds of hay sets I make. Bait and lure always under the hay. Make them work to find it.
Thanks for bringing us along, best of luck getting that fischer and i hope you connect on that big cat!

When you make the hay set where is the trap located is it in front of the mound of hay? Also where do you bait and lure on top or underneath the hay?
