I'm not a fan of BTS or New Jeans, so looking at this from an outsider perspective, yes she did a good job with New Jeans, yes their concept is fresh, songs are good, but what made them so successful and create this super fast meteoric rise is definitely because they are launched as a HYBE girl group aka sister group of BTS who were at the height if their global success - THAT alone got people's full attention globally. There are plenty of amazing talented producers in Korea, but we all know that without the big platform support and financial backing, you won't ever make it big. All the biggest kpop groups come from the big 3-4 entertainment companies. I think she just got it too much in the head that everything came from her and her only. I mean, no shade intended, just being very honest, if New Jeans was launched by a small company with no connections and 30% of the budget she had from HYBE, they wouldn't have blown up like this.
