Mera ek confusion hai Kya amt and CVT gear box mein hills drive karne k liye thik nahi hai like steep road mein agar hum upar ja re hain and car ruk jati hai to kya wahan se uth jayegi like manual gear box ya nahi....

on small cities ,roads are very congested,not wider, and crowd always run on it,highly populated..these roads need small car like Alto..so it is suitable..even wagan R..

By paying a premium of 50k ex showroom you can get AGS with hill hold support in Celerio and S Presso but at the same premium you wont get that in k10 its ironic and cant be considered as cost cutting

Just want to confirm how is the length seat belt?? In Alto 800 I found it's very small and a person with 36-38 inch waste hardly fits to seat belt. Do maruti take of this time.

I'm salaried person mera budget max 6.50 lakhs. I like this car for my family plus a big advantage is its resell value. Thanks to your great video..I can upgrade to i20 sportz or others after 3 years. Coz, I can sell Alto K10 at that time easily within 3 lakhs+ by spending 25k for power rear windows & rear camera & wiper and fog lamps.

I do not agree on the issue of fuel efficiency. Alto is not for highway driving at 80 kmph. It's main purpose is to cater the need of a middle class family, who do not often go for highway drives; rather Alto is mostly used in smaller cities or towns, and in very very congested places like markets. And there, the mileage of AMT is very very bad. While my 15 year old Alto LXi used to return about 15 kmpl in such conditions, my brand new K10 VXi+ AMT does not even give 10 kmpl. How will you get the mileage? It shifts to 2nd gear at around 20 kmph speed, 3rd gear at around 30 kmph. Is it how we drive with manual gear changing? I used to put my earlier Alto at 5th gear by 35 kmph. I even put my DZire ZDi on 4th gear by 30 kmph. So, how can the new Alto K10 AMT give a proper mileage in the driving condition it is built for? I cannot just run it on highways only to get a satisfaction of mileage. So, please provide a real picture to the audience. Another important thing ... the instantaneous fuel efficiency shown in the instrument cluster had no relation with the real mileage. It just gives an indication of how the engine is running. Same experience with my DZire also, but I am not comparing its mileage, because it is a diesel car.
