Thank you sir. It’s September 2024 and your 6 year old video was exactly what I was looking for. The brick part was my favorite since I bought this cleaning product today to clean a very mildew/dirty brick wall tomorrow morning and I wanted to see other people’s results. Great video!!!! + new subscriber.

This stuff works! Either mixed like he shows, or from the hose end sprayer that comes with the smaller bottle.
It’s not cheap, but it will clean all your outdoor things!
It’s called 30 seconds for a reason. 30 seconds is all it takes. Anything left behind can be easily wiped or brushed away.

One of the best products on the market, it will do a incredible job getting the green off of the North side of a house's siding. I leave it on for about 1 minute if it's a heavily soiled area or item.

okay i used pressure washer for years on vinyl deck and would have to go over and over ...but i tried 30 seconds and i simply had to hose down after 15 minutes....took about 1/4 of the time and cleaned better....i found the pressure washer did not get all the dirt out of recessed areas of the vinyl deck unless i went over 3 or 4 times.....and i was tired after using the pressure washer.....30 seconds is wonderful

I just tried the 30 second cleaner. I had previously used my high pressure sprayer on my badly stained concrete sidewalk. The high pressure washer removed about 75% of the algae. Then I went to home depot and bought the 30 second material. Within 3 minutes, the side walk was perfectly clean! I then went to another section of sidewalk that I hadn't done with the pressure washer. It took about 3 minutes to clean it perfectly too! It has been 2 days since I cleaned the sidewalk and it does not appear to have killed the grass that got all the run off from the 30 second material. I'm super impressed. April 15, 2020

Oh,.. 30 Seconds is the 💩
Been using it for 30yrs. And it's the Surfactant that makes the difference. And here's a couple tips. You may find a hundred more uses at more diluted ratios. Even on your driveway and such. 1part to 2parts water works well. As long as it's kept wet. It will continue to work, and work deeper into surfaces,.. And the Gunk on them. And having another garden sprayer to keep it wet with water is another thing that works.
But for all the things it does for the price, damn 😂
And once mixed, sprayed, evaporated, and rinsed off with a hose. There is only a Tiny Fraction of a percentage of any bleach. So it doesn't harm things when used anywhere near correctly.
I have many friends and neighbors that agree 🤣

I used regular simple green on my boat, house siding, haven’t tried it on wood. But simple green for house siding, fiberglass and cars (diluted). Works great. That 30 second stuff is bleach based. Simple green is environmentally friendly. The friendliest. Works great. Won’t kill plants animals or pollute the water. Try it!

    • @My-Pal-Hal
      @My-Pal-Hal 4 роки тому +1

      You try 30 Seconds.
      It works on Everything.
And perfectly safe around everything too. Least has been in my 30+ years of use. Even have friends that own a Kubota Dealership. They use to use simple green, and other products on their rental, and trade-in equipment...
      Use to 😂
And once mixed, used and rinsed.
You are left with a small fraction of A PERCENTAGE of any residual bleach.
But, whatever works for you 🤗

  • @scottjayson69
    @scottjayson69 3 роки тому +5

Yes, this stuff works wonders. What Bob doesn't tell you in the video is how much you have to use to get good results, and how expensive that is going to be. Works fast and easy on hard surfaces - my lawnchairs were a snap for instance. But I wanted to do my deck - 8 year old cedar with some pretty good black mold on it. I was impressed with how well Bob cleaned up his fence. Now I know that to get them that clean he probably used 1/4 of a gallon bottle on just those 5 or 6 slats. I did a 450 sq ft deck and 4 lawnchairs and I wanted them to look great for an upcoming wedding, so I kept going back to the store and getting another bottle and another and another. $190 worth in the end to get pretty good results. That's edging into the kind of money that I could have just hired a pro guy for. So, good product, WAY expensive for larger projects.

This product does clean dirt and algae very well. The product states that it will not kill grass, shrubs and other vegetation in the flower beds that receive run-off of the cleaning solution. This statement is true that it's won't kill your plants, but I found it will stunt their growth and development for two to three years due to soil contamination. A rose bush that has typically produced 30 flower blooms, now produces 6 to 12 blooms. Other perennials, that previously grew 16 inches tall each year, only reach a height of 8 to 12 inches for the next 2 years after the cleaning treatment. They may resume regular bloom and growth after 3 years.

A fairly convoluted experiment. Was it the solution or was it the pressure washer that made the difference?
Twenty years ago I lived in a community that was seemingly built on red clay. Every house was stained red from the rain splashing the ground soil onto the bottom few feet of the house as it fell from the roof. Each year I used the bleach/vinegar solution sprayed on the bricks and then rinsed with a garden hose and nozzle for pressure. Perfect on the mold, like 30 second was for you, and 75% effective on the red clay. Pressure washer bumped the effectiveness up to probably 85-90%.

It's smarter to pressure wash with no chemicals and then spray pool chlorine on once or twice with no need to rinse it off. This way you don't kill yours or the neighbors plants. If you spray chemicals first, the pressure washing later will put bleach all over yours and the neighbors yard. These bleach solutions do kill plants. There is no need to buy these expensive chemicals. You can use them but don't rinse. Been doing this for over 20 years. Even if the fence is torn a little the customer will love it. Spraying Bleach at the end really brightens it up.

Only use this solution after you wash with the pressure washer to brighten it up. It's okay to wet the fence twice.

Question : I live in a very arid climate, Do you think that using this cleaner would also help cuz I don't see any visible mold or moist fungus on my fence . I only see a sun-aged dried wooden fence .
Will this product still help bring the natural color back ?
    Thanks, Gerry

"30 seconds outdoor cleaner" is simply overpriced household laundry bleach, with a dash of surfactant added (sodium metasilicate... main ingredient in cheap dishwasher powder).

Jamie Silmon watch Dan’s Vlog on UA-cam for some great power washing pointers. Don’t waste money on this. Use a gal of 10% chlorine pool bleach for less than $4 at Walmart and a little dish soap as a surfactant and you’re good to go. This is just a fancy bottled bleach product. Look up the ingredients online.

    • @AB_thingsDFW

    • @chrisgraham2904

That means the pressure of your pressure washer is too high and damaging the surface of the wood. Either dial back the pressure or hold the spray wand further away from the surface being cleaned.

I used to buy this expensive stuff but then after I read the msds I found out that 30 seconds cleaner is nothing more than chlorine with salts, so I now buy 5 litres of chlorine for $5 instead of 5 litres of 30 seconds cleaner for $28, and the chlorine does a great job of cleaning everything for a lot cheaper

After using a gallon of the 30-Sec brand, I tried using ordinary bleach ($1.25/gal) diluted 1:1. It worked just as well as the $13/gal stuff. I sprayed the bleach solution onto our HDPE deck furniture, waited about 1 minute, then hit it with my little Ryobi hand-held pressure washer - just like new! I also used it on the deck with great results.

The problem I have with this cleaner is that it clearly states on their Amazon sales page "Just spray on and hose off! No more pressure washing." But you still had to use a pressure washer to get results. I have a white shingle roof that needs cleaning and there is no way I could get up on it and pressure wash it after applying this product in a spray bottle from a ladder. Back to searching for something better..but thanks for this review as it was very helpful.

FYI. Using a pressure washer completely invalidates the test of 30 second cleaner. You should have used a garden hose, that would actually tell us how effective this product is, instead of how good your GAS pressure washer is.
