Thank you sir. It’s September 2024 and your 6 year old video was exactly what I was looking for. The brick part was my favorite since I bought this cleaning product today to clean a very mildew/dirty brick wall tomorrow morning and I wanted to see other people’s results. Great video!!!! + new subscriber.
This stuff works! Either mixed like he shows, or from the hose end sprayer that comes with the smaller bottle.
It’s not cheap, but it will clean all your outdoor things!
It’s called 30 seconds for a reason. 30 seconds is all it takes. Anything left behind can be easily wiped or brushed away.
wow, you helped me decide which cleaner to use. Just waiting for the store to open.
One of the best products on the market, it will do a incredible job getting the green off of the North side of a house's siding. I leave it on for about 1 minute if it's a heavily soiled area or item.
Can't say enough good about it, Love Love Love it.
You're my hero!!! Thank you! My old, neglected stairs in the blistering Florida Keys sun cleaned up great without totally killing me!
okay i used pressure washer for years on vinyl deck and would have to go over and over ...but i tried 30 seconds and i simply had to hose down after 15 minutes....took about 1/4 of the time and cleaned better....i found the pressure washer did not get all the dirt out of recessed areas of the vinyl deck unless i went over 3 or 4 times.....and i was tired after using the pressure washer.....30 seconds is wonderful
I discovered this product about 2 years ago, and think it is the best on market - it contains an enzyme as well as bleach, and now is the only outdoor cleaner I use....
Completely satisfied. Used it and rinsed with garden hose on my entire patio which was completely molded and saturated with film
Used entire 2 gallon with water mix in a spray bottle. Also used on house sidings and various crevices that has mold. All gone.
this stuff is just a bleach solution and bleach does not kill mold it only removes the surface... it will return in weeks
That product is really amazing I cleaned my white pool frame and it looks like new.
I used this stuff on my vinyl siding and it did a great job!!!
I just tried the 30 second cleaner. I had previously used my high pressure sprayer on my badly stained concrete sidewalk. The high pressure washer removed about 75% of the algae. Then I went to home depot and bought the 30 second material. Within 3 minutes, the side walk was perfectly clean! I then went to another section of sidewalk that I hadn't done with the pressure washer. It took about 3 minutes to clean it perfectly too! It has been 2 days since I cleaned the sidewalk and it does not appear to have killed the grass that got all the run off from the 30 second material. I'm super impressed. April 15, 2020
Is the grass next to your sidewalk still alive or dead now, May 30
Oh,.. 30 Seconds is the 💩
Been using it for 30yrs. And it's the Surfactant that makes the difference. And here's a couple tips. You may find a hundred more uses at more diluted ratios. Even on your driveway and such. 1part to 2parts water works well. As long as it's kept wet. It will continue to work, and work deeper into surfaces,.. And the Gunk on them. And having another garden sprayer to keep it wet with water is another thing that works.
But for all the things it does for the price, damn 😂
And once mixed, sprayed, evaporated, and rinsed off with a hose. There is only a Tiny Fraction of a percentage of any bleach. So it doesn't harm things when used anywhere near correctly.
I have many friends and neighbors that agree 🤣
Good job showing us, good buddy. Safety note for everyone: Always use eye protection, such as safety glasses or goggles! Proper gloves are also good practice.
Timotheus157 I thought the same thing, especially when he was spraying the siding and up on the corner of the garage!👍🏻
I used regular simple green on my boat, house siding, haven’t tried it on wood. But simple green for house siding, fiberglass and cars (diluted). Works great. That 30 second stuff is bleach based. Simple green is environmentally friendly. The friendliest. Works great. Won’t kill plants animals or pollute the water. Try it!
You try 30 Seconds.
It works on Everything.
And perfectly safe around everything too. Least has been in my 30+ years of use. Even have friends that own a Kubota Dealership. They use to use simple green, and other products on their rental, and trade-in equipment...
Use to 😂
And once mixed, used and rinsed.
You are left with a small fraction of A PERCENTAGE of any residual bleach.
But, whatever works for you 🤗
Thanks, dude! I have vinyl siding and I've heard it's good for that too.
looks good, is it safe to use around flower beds etc ? We have a stained (oil based) white picket fence around 3 sides of front yard, It has major algae staining , should i use this stuff and tarp over the flower beds?
Yes, this stuff works wonders. What Bob doesn't tell you in the video is how much you have to use to get good results, and how expensive that is going to be. Works fast and easy on hard surfaces - my lawnchairs were a snap for instance. But I wanted to do my deck - 8 year old cedar with some pretty good black mold on it. I was impressed with how well Bob cleaned up his fence. Now I know that to get them that clean he probably used 1/4 of a gallon bottle on just those 5 or 6 slats. I did a 450 sq ft deck and 4 lawnchairs and I wanted them to look great for an upcoming wedding, so I kept going back to the store and getting another bottle and another and another. $190 worth in the end to get pretty good results. That's edging into the kind of money that I could have just hired a pro guy for. So, good product, WAY expensive for larger projects.
Thank you Sir.you are a great inspiration and a good American. Appreciate
Used it to clean the house. Pretty good.let it sit for 3 min. Spraying 2 or 3 times. Scrub with brush. Its like new! Just make sure to wear googles and gloves. Pants. Longlseeve. Will use again! Note. Kills worms hardcore. Harms grass unless you rinse reslly well while going.
Is it safe to use on the grout on your shower walls. I have slate like tile?
I'll get some cleaner as this is the time of year to start cleaning the house and pool surround. Thanks for making the video.
This product does clean dirt and algae very well. The product states that it will not kill grass, shrubs and other vegetation in the flower beds that receive run-off of the cleaning solution. This statement is true that it's won't kill your plants, but I found it will stunt their growth and development for two to three years due to soil contamination. A rose bush that has typically produced 30 flower blooms, now produces 6 to 12 blooms. Other perennials, that previously grew 16 inches tall each year, only reach a height of 8 to 12 inches for the next 2 years after the cleaning treatment. They may resume regular bloom and growth after 3 years.
Can I use on vinyl siding on house and tool shed?
A fairly convoluted experiment. Was it the solution or was it the pressure washer that made the difference?
Twenty years ago I lived in a community that was seemingly built on red clay. Every house was stained red from the rain splashing the ground soil onto the bottom few feet of the house as it fell from the roof. Each year I used the bleach/vinegar solution sprayed on the bricks and then rinsed with a garden hose and nozzle for pressure. Perfect on the mold, like 30 second was for you, and 75% effective on the red clay. Pressure washer bumped the effectiveness up to probably 85-90%.
What condition is the van in, does it run,how many miles on it?
Wow. The wooden fence is the best!
My deck and house siding needs this.
It's a great product that's bleach based. I bought it once before I read its contents and decided to just roll with SH at $3 a gallon
What is SH?
@@MrsVonB-zq1yh sodium hypochlorite (bleach)
of course its gonna work with a pressure washer heck you dont even need cleaner most of the time with a pressure washer i want to see if it works with a regular hose
I want to use this on my vinyl fence. Will this stuff kill my grass?
It will work great on a Vinyl fence. I cleaned one for a customer earlier this year. It says on the container that it is safe for grass and plants but I always cover plants and bushes with a small tarp and I wet the grass before I spray any chemical. I've never had a problem with 30 second cleaner
Thank you
Thank You so very much for these awesome tips especially on the house bricks. I am planning on doing my bricks and you are the second video I have watched on the 30 second outdoor cleaner. AWESOME video
The purpose of this cleaner is that you don't need high pressure washing, so the use of the cleaner was totally pointless, its only house bleach 50/50 mix with water and a scent ro hide bleach smell.
Great video and information. All 4 or 5 projects look great and your instruction was fabulous. Thanks for taking the time and sharing. Be safe. Love Peg
Agreed!
Stuff works pretty damn good! Wondering how if it will work on my back yard pavers🤔
I wanna use this on my pergola but it stands over my deck not made of wood. Should I be concerned of discoloration to the deck material?
didyiiou wear protective eyewear??
I'm gonna have to give this stuff a try! Hoping it will remove splatter from deck stain off siding.
probably wont remove deck stain. Try some paint thinner. Start with a small spot to see how it reacts if you have vinyl siding.
What's the result please?
Won’t work on deck stain try Krud cutter and a green scrubbie pad
Bill Prezioso I
Great vid but you could have done the same thing with just the pressure washer especially a gas pressure washer. I get the same results with diluted bleach for half the cost and no pressure washer
It's smarter to pressure wash with no chemicals and then spray pool chlorine on once or twice with no need to rinse it off. This way you don't kill yours or the neighbors plants. If you spray chemicals first, the pressure washing later will put bleach all over yours and the neighbors yard. These bleach solutions do kill plants. There is no need to buy these expensive chemicals. You can use them but don't rinse. Been doing this for over 20 years. Even if the fence is torn a little the customer will love it. Spraying Bleach at the end really brightens it up.
dk4622 What ratio pool chlorine/water do you use, if you don’t mind me asking?
LN LaLawn I would use 15 to 20% pool chlorine 80 to 85% water. You can also add a cup of some other chemical like purple Power or Simple Green found at Walmart. Just don't rinse. Only use this solution after you wash with the pressure washer to brighten it up. It's okay to wet the fence twice.
Wonder if you can apply this product with the ortho hose end sprayer the dial n spray? What would be also the settings, would be a great video 🤷🏽♂️
Will the 30 second cleaner hurt vinyl siding
Can also use pool chlorine. It’s % is like triple that of laundry stuff ie) Clorox
$5 for a gallon
The hose attachment works great to no need for a pressure washer and it doesn’t kill plants
I can get about the same result just by using my pressure washer without the solution! BTW, adjust the choke on your pressure washer engine to make it run smoother, so you gain a slightly more pressure out of the pump.
Using pressure washer only to rinse it off.
You can use a waterhose as wel.
The sticker is beautiful
The best chemical to clean up is 10 percent hypochlorite
Easy and quick
Whats the deal with the van?
great video !
Is the van still for sale ?
Will this work on a metal roof of a house? Does it contain bleach? Not supposed to use bleach on metal roof?
Sodium Hypochlorite works brilliantly. No need to waste money on special products.
Where u located at ill go for that van asap lol
I’ll give it a try.
Compare with Super Clean or just using the pressure washer using only water
Can you use 30 second cleaner on limestone?
How much are you asking for the van?
i saw this and immediately thought WA state!
Lol
Good video - thanks. Just add a bit of dish detergent (Dawn is great) to your solution. Will make dirt come off so much easier!
Jnak 0919 Hi, whatever you’re using as a cleaning agent, add a good few squirts of Dawn. It will become sudsy and actually help to lift off any dirt or algae. Don’t pour a whole bottle of Dawn in but like I said, a few good squirts will do. Take care.
I was just going to say that you probably hit better with a regular nozzle to do your rinse
I liked the solid experimental technique.
But did you sell the van????
How well does this work on oil stains in the driveway?
Dampen the oil stain and put ajax or comet let is sit there. Keep doing over a few days .
Wet it down, sprinkle tide with bleach laundry detergent and let it sit a few minutes then spray it off.
Works for me.
@@glenncsr.88 ...the manufacturer wrote back to me when I asked the same question. They said NOT for oil/grease....but for bio type stuff like mold and mildew.
Will this work on bbq grease ?
Does this work on bbq grease?
Is it safe to use on Stucco found on houses in Southern California?
Yes
Great video show before & after. If the 30 Second Cleaner does a lot of the work in breaking down the crud, what do you need a pressure washer for? Thanks, Brian in SC
Your less than 1 foot away from everything you are cleaning. That’s pressure washing. I would like to see you rinse with a hose though. Good video, I’ll give it a try and compare it to the bleach, soap, water mixture I see in other videos. Thanks!
@@MegaGuitarpicker
I own a powerwash and softwash company, and I have to be honest we use this stuff. It is very efficient. No pressure needed at all. After the right application, garden hose pressure is all you'd need to rinse.
Typical pricing for sodium hypochlorite solution is
$. 60 to $0.90 per gallon but may fluctuate dramatically based on the
supply and demand dynamics of the NaOH and chlorine markets.
Answered a lot of my questions, thanks, I ordered. Subscribed. Thanks!
It's Clorox , or bleach, look at the ingredients. Their exactly the same. Only this product is 10 time's more money. Enjoy it.
Ricky Burcl
wow
I DOES contain bleach but it also contains TSP. You can make up a similar concoction with household bleach and TSP but the savings really aren't that much. If your cleaning needs are 1-2 gallons then the cost savings aren't worth the extra effort IMO.
@@webstermiller7765
The Surfactant makes All The Diffence. You have no idea.
As you clean the Surface. 30 Seconds has gotten to the ROOTS of the problems.
Favorite part of entire video, “ok now i’ve applied 30 Second cleaner, im gonna let it sit for about 15 mins”. Huh?? What?? Its 30 Second cleaner, not 15 min cleaner. Lol
lol!
And you're actually close to right.
You just don't want it to totally dry. It will keep going deeper into the surface because of the Surfactant in it. But stops working when it dries. And a bit tougher to rinse to.
Not dumping on the product, but it's a bleach based product. Did anybody notice Dale Jr's "8" before and after? What is this doing to the finish or the pin striping? Might be great for a fence, but the painted surfaces make me nervous.
Love it! Keep making videos! Love the "test # *."
good job
Why would you use bleach on car paint? 😳
Only looks semi-cruddy when finished%! Now go paint everything!😎
I’m gonna try this product on a metal building home. I am trying to remove left over black marking. I’m being told it’s carbon but a bleach mix will not take it off.
Hey there! It’s been about five months since you left your comment. How were the results??
well this stuff is sodium hypochlorite...which is just hoousehold bleach
Great content !
Question : I live in a very arid climate, Do you think that using this cleaner would also help cuz I don't see any visible mold or moist fungus on my fence . I only see a sun-aged dried wooden fence .
Will this product still help bring the natural color back ?
Thanks, Gerry
@@TheAstroflight thank you for the full explanation. It is appreciated 👍
Bleach with a squirt of dish liquid for a surfactant. Save your money and make your own.
Is this stuff bleach? I know some people just say use bleach.
Great video. I was on the fence about which cleaner to buy. Thanks.
spray and walk away is the best
I wish I had taken before and after pix! This stuff rules! My house looks like it did 12 years ago when the vinyl siding was originally put on. Thanks!
After a year has anything happened to the side of your house? I have seen where sometimes the mold grows back pretty fast with this stuff as opposed to bleach
@@samplautz5586 Hi Sam. You wrote: "the mold grows back pretty fast with this stuff as opposed to bleach"
"30 seconds outdoor cleaner" is simply overpriced household laundry bleach, with a dash of surfactant added (sodium metasilicate... main ingredient in cheap dishwasher powder).
wow! your house, your garage. your van, AND your fence?! what have you been doing all these years, slacking off? 5 year vacation? 😀😂😁😭😀
AND you dog carrier?!
now get back out there and finish what you started, you have all these partially clean items
Even the pressure washer is filthy.
HEY.
TAKES TIME TO CREATE GOOD TESTING SURFACES.
...amatuers 😂 ✌...
I love than van 💚
Safety glasses and mask......when applying product and using power washer
If you are using the pressure washer then it is not necessary needs the 30 Sec cleaners. The pressure itself from the water will removes the crap.
This is goin to be great to get for my Pressure Washing Business I just started
Jamie Silmon watch Dan’s Vlog on UA-cam for some great power washing pointers. Don’t waste money on this. Use a gal of 10% chlorine pool bleach for less than $4 at Walmart and a little dish soap as a surfactant and you’re good to go. This is just a fancy bottled bleach product. Look up the ingredients online.
Did the wood have those little hair like things after you washed the fence?
If it does after you wash it means your pressure washer is cutting into the wood
That means the pressure of your pressure washer is too high and damaging the surface of the wood. Either dial back the pressure or hold the spray wand further away from the surface being cleaned.
I used to buy this expensive stuff but then after I read the msds I found out that 30 seconds cleaner is nothing more than chlorine with salts, so I now buy 5 litres of chlorine for $5 instead of 5 litres of 30 seconds cleaner for $28, and the chlorine does a great job of cleaning everything for a lot cheaper
Yes if you find a chemical store you can buy 12.5% sodium hydro chloride which a gallon of regular bleach is only 5%
After using a gallon of the 30-Sec brand, I tried using ordinary bleach ($1.25/gal) diluted 1:1. It worked just as well as the $13/gal stuff. I sprayed the bleach solution onto our HDPE deck furniture, waited about 1 minute, then hit it with my little Ryobi hand-held pressure washer - just like new! I also used it on the deck with great results.
Jim Meyer Do you know if the bleach mixture would ruin a painted wood surface? My shed is painted dark red. Thx
@@jimmeyer4530
How's your deck looking Now ???
Because if you had used 30 Seconds. The Surfactant it uses would have gone much deeper to the root of the problems.
Funny in my 30+yrs of using this.
How many friends and neighbors have seen,.. And Learned the difference. Enjoy
Junior !!!
The problem I have with this cleaner is that it clearly states on their Amazon sales page "Just spray on and hose off! No more pressure washing." But you still had to use a pressure washer to get results. I have a white shingle roof that needs cleaning and there is no way I could get up on it and pressure wash it after applying this product in a spray bottle from a ladder. Back to searching for something better..but thanks for this review as it was very helpful.
Nightbird I use 30 sec.and never use a pressure washer, it works find with a good pressure water hose! I do use a pressure increaser on my hose and that works good too! Works better than anything I have ever used!
@@JR-ht2vy Thanks for the input!
nice video, thanks
This stuff works it's simple as that, thanks for your review!
FYI. Using a pressure washer completely invalidates the test of 30 second cleaner. You should have used a garden hose, that would actually tell us how effective this product is, instead of how good your GAS pressure washer is.
Absolutely it says no pressure washer needed, just hose it off! Why did he do that?
I totally agree.
Indeed. Could have taken that van through an automated car wash and gotten the same results.
Diluted?
Great video but the stuff should be called 900 Second Cleaner
Good review. I have to clean mildew and grime off a 400ft white wood fence.
I have used this product and found it to be NO better than bleach and water. But thanks for the video.
Great video.

it is 5% bleach, essentially. will it damage the paint?
I've never had issues damaging paint.
Considering a pressure washer will take the paint off a car using an incorrect nozzle, I agree with ShowMe below this is not a test of a cleaner as much as a testimony for pressure washers.
Hi can i use this on my cottage 40k from Cedar Creek at all thanks
Don't waste time, effort or money on this, it's effective, but Olympic deck cleaner is far superior. Spray wait, rinse. Awesome product. Cedar, and pressure treated, Not redwood please
I'd be concerned about paint on a vehicle. Thought about using on an RV.
also would be wearing eye protection when using it
The problem is a pressure washer would have done the same thing with out 30 seconds
Exactly! If I had a pressure washer I wouldnt need the 30 sec
@@annieterry1407 I don't have a pressure washer. Just this 30 Sec on my siding, and a regular hose to rinse.
Pressure washer will clean but does not kill the mold and algae.
Not everyone can afford a pressure washer or to hire someone who can use one
