Balanceful line , even as someone with dry skin, is WONDERFUL, especially for breakouts. So soothing and calming, love layering them under other thicker products!
@neen42 I was born in 89 and was definitely crimping my hair in 4th-6th grade. I even bought a crimper at Ulta 3 years ago so they definitely still have them.
Kelly, you’re so good at showing off the textures of products. I feel like people so often swatch products and just start rubbing them in like they would in their normal routine, and they’re only doing it because they see other influencers do it. Like they don’t truly understand the point of demo-ing the product on the hand! But the way you play with the product a bit, show it in natural light, allow it do dry down and run your finger over it lightly to show us any signs of tackiness that might remain in any tugging of the skin-all just really well thought out. Thank you. So so much. 💙
This review was such perfect timing. I just purchased the Torriden Solid Essence and the Dive In serum on your recommendation- tried the dive in serum and it’s so incredible! Really unique for HA serum in my opinion, excited to try the solid in essence!
Yes! I was in Ulta yesterday, I haven’t had the best luck with their moisturizers but I’ve liked everything else I’ve tried (they sit on top of my skin and get really streaky for some reason?), but when I swatched their new Oasis Ultra Plush cream? MY LORD is that name accurate! Ultra plush, silky velvet sunk right into the back of my hand like butter 🤤 I’m tryna hold out til the next P&L brand sale, 5x or 10x Ulta points before I splurge but now I can’t stop thinking about it 😭
I love Torriden as well, i have used just the green balance line cream, gel cleanser and toner, and also the cream and toner from the yellow ceramide line. I didn't like the balance one because it was not hydrating enough for me, the gel cream was difficult to scoop out even with the spatula... I had the full size pot, the tube seems better. I have dry skin so loved the ceramide line, especially the cream. I also have the Torriden dive in mild sun cream which am using atm, it is very thick and emollient, almost like the LRP cica balm in terms of how thick and white it is, it did leave a cast but it went away after rubbing in, so personally liked it. Defo a no for oily skin as it is quite heavy and takes a while to set, but perfect for dry skin. Great brand overall I think, want to try more
Hi Kelly, I really appreciate it when you talked about COLLAGEN , and how it works like other humectants in drawing water to the skin and how its molecules are big and can’t work like our natural collagen or add to it. It’s misconception and misleading tactic in marketing, specifically the K beauty brands.
Really informative video, thank you! ❤ I have a question: can I use the SOLID-IN essence underneath the Balanceful cica cream? I have a bit of a problematic skin with barrier and rosacea issues, sensitivity, dryness but also a lot of oiliness..
I have only tried the Dive In Mild Sunscreen, it's a mineral SPF and had a really bad white cast on me. It wasn't impressive! That was a few years ago though, it looks like they have expanded their offerings!
Hi Kelly, I really appreciate your videos and the rich knowledge you share with us. I was just wondering if glycerin, also being listed pretty hoch in the ingredients list, isn't the main humectant in the Torriden products. Glycerin provides moisture as opposed to HA that only absorbs and hold moisture.
Thank you for this deep dive review. The Solid-In line sounds perfect for my skin. The essence is such a unique texture: for a morning routine, would you recommend using it before or after a Vitamin C serum?
I second this! Aliceintherabbithole reviewed the numbuzin no. 1 sunscreen and the no. 1 toner and had very positive reviews of both! She had actually purchased the mini of the no. 1 toner and repurchased it in the full size (which I feel says a lot when any reviewer repurchases a product due to the overwhelming number of products to try)
I'm very skeptical about collagen to be honest, even collagen for oral consumption you have to make sure it is HYDROLYZED ( very small molecules) and is present with Vitamin C for it be absorbed and harness it's benefits so i say save you coins and invest for a collagen powder for your smoothies

Love your hair crimped! I am so glad people are crimping again! I am 34 and did this as a younger girl.
I waved my hair like this as a kiddo too! 😂
Now just add those butterfly clips to elevate the look 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Crimpers are different! They are more sharp - late 80s early 90s

Aaaaagghhh I was just considering buying some Torriden products so this couldn't have come at the perfect time. Thank you, Kelly!
So happy this was helpful and just in time!💖
I love that Torriden has kits for the Balanceful and Dive-in. It was a great way to try the products.

Influencers aren’t synonymous with being an expert in skincare. You actually have to be a dermatologist and beautician.

Would love to see a video or a short comparing the peach and lily moisturizers!

Do you recommend to apply the ceramide cream before make up?

The way you describe textures always amazes me. ❤
Really love your deep explanations you just make sense ❤️
I LOVE torriden. The Balanceful Toner Pads are 100% my favorite. I've already finished my second tub, and I have another refill ready to go!

Glad this helped! It's a beneficial ingredient just not in the way it's marketed!
I'm very interested in the Solid in line but I have to finish some products first😅
Thank you for this brand review.❤

I love Dive-in line! I'm also curious about their sunscreens. I think they have few of them
I have only tried the Dive In Mild Sunscreen, it's a mineral SPF and had a really bad white cast on me. It wasn't impressive! That was a few years ago though, it looks like they have expanded their offerings!
Hi Kelly 👋 just letting you no I love this line of skincare ceramides line is fabulous 👌❤
I’ve been thinking about the Dive In line for awhile now. I just have other stuff that needs to be used up first.

I was just wondering if glycerin, also being listed pretty hoch in the ingredients list, isn't the main humectant in the Torriden products. Glycerin provides moisture as opposed to HA that only absorbs and hold moisture.
Glycerin is the main humectant in 90% of skincare! It's always working hard!
Thank you for this deep dive review. The Solid-In line sounds perfect for my skin. The essence is such a unique texture: for a morning routine, would you recommend using it before or after a Vitamin C serum?
hey Kelly great video, FYI there's a typo in the brand name in the title of this vid!
Thanks!
Can you review numbuzin no. 1 clear filter suncreen and no. 1 cica toner
Cosrx proplis lip sleeping mask

Kelly, are you going to try The Ordinary 2% Retinal ??
Which one is better the Dive in serum or the Numbuzin No.6 Serum?
I'm actually working on a comparison of them now, stay tuned next month!
Im using numbuzin 6 serum currently and loving it. Gives beautiful glass effect.
@@mallikadhanashekar9851 Me too just recently finished my first bottle and I think it's better than the Dive in because it has a lot of hydrators
sounds like the solid in line would be better for firming and wrinkles than the celmazing line? is that correct?
I have Dehydrated Oily skin. Can i just use the Solid In Essence as a moisturiser? Or do i still need to use a moisturiser?
Solid in cream❤❤❤
Is it really a dupe for the Dr. Jart Ceramidin cream? Cuz I LOVE that moisturizer but I’m sad they’re no longer Korean-owned
@@Storm411z i didn't try dr Jart, but from the ingredients it seems yes. Also solid in is cheaper:-)
Can i use balacing serum in the morning and night tretinoin?

Damn I thought Torriden was cruelty free but I hadn't seen their collagen line... guess I can't buy from them anymore :(
They won't miss your money.
I hear panthenol and I salivate 😅. I may have written this same comment before... In that case I apologise.
