thanks brother, my vape had some juice in the hole between the prongs you were talking about. I held it upside down for 5-10 minutes then cleaned out the gross juice with a paper towel. Now it works perfect! thanks again
Fosilite At this point i think that Nord is a better device than Novo. Nord has replaceable coils, hence pod can be reused. Also market reviews are good about Nord.

Such problems usually occurs due to liquid getting into the sensor port or vapor condensing inside the circuitry. Avoid flying with filled pod plugged in. Low pressure in the flight cabins might spill juice into the mod.
Try blowing in the charging hole and the top for like a min. Then wiggle the pod back and forth while u push it in for a min that the light should go on

I think you have to get a new pod because I have 2 novos and it’s not the novo that’s broken it’s one of the pods cause I also put it in the other novo and it wouldn’t hit while the other pod does on both

Sporty King The aim is to heat liquify the juice that has penetrated inside the battery compartment. Slight heating the device keeping it upside down (keeping the device in sunlight) may work.
Dear Nova, what i did is like this: After the whole body of the device enclosure got heated up to around 50 deg Celsius, i blew through the charging port to drive out the condensed e-juices through the small hole between the electrodes. But if there is too much percolating juice inside, you might have to repeat this process for a few times. But i stopped using Novo a year back. I found Renova Zero a better alternative.

But the solution to such pod systems (negative pressure activated switching mechanism) remain the same: To pull out the vapour/liquid accumulated in the device by slight dry-heat and air-blow
I made it work for sometime this way. The mistake i made as a new vaper was using 70/30 vg/pg ejiuce in the SMOK NOVO pod. I should have used 50/50 nic salts instead.
I didn’t do the dry heat part and first tried blowing through the charge port and through the end the pod goes in and it worked for me!! So relieved as stores are closed right now and I needed the nicotine lol

Yes, we need to reduce the viscosity of the juice so that it can be sucked out of the holes

Ask for a replacement under warranty. I got my replacement within a month after this device stopped working altogether.

My novo 2 has the issue but nothing is working

When you hit it dry it will fuck it up
One of the gold electrodes might be pushed down too far, try pulling it up with tweezers

I just dabbed the battery and circuit board with a dry piece of toilet paper, it soaked up the juice that was in the system
I can’t get the cover off and last novo I had did this and I can’t myself opening it
