Yes, this is a junior suite superior ocean front 👍🏻 No, this is not the adults only section. We do have a video of the adults only section coming soon.
We are staying at Luxury Akumal for our 3rd time in a few weeks. This will be the first time we got Connecting Junior Suite Superior. Was this a connecting room? I saw that door on the left towards the balcony that you never mentioned in your video. I cant find info anywhere (on youtube or BP website) for the actual layout.
The rooms will like just like this one, but with a connecting door in between 👍🏻
The fridge doesn't look as stocked as it was when we were there last in August 2019, we are going again first week in December 2023 and have paid for an ocean front room. One thing I would like to note, be careful of the glass tops on the room furniture I put my hand on the top of one of the bedside units to steady myself as I got up from retrieving something from the floor and managed to crack the glass.

We stayed at Tulum last May and the rooms were completely renovated and brand new with flat screens and all that, how come this is luxury and the rooms are older and not renovated? I don’t get it
They haven’t gotten around to renovating Akumal yet 🤷🏼♀️

@@WherewegoingNext thanks. We check in next Thursday and this is the first time we are getting a connecting room. Their website has no pictures or details regarding these connecting suites. I was afraid they were just side by side.

I think I would rather stay here than across the road at Sian Ka'an. I stayed at SK 4 years in a row. The rooms need an upgrade.
Yeah that’s what we’ve been hearing 🤷🏼♀️ we prefer Akumal as well bc we like to be closer to the beach.
Our first Bahia experience was at Akumal but there wasn’t an adults only at that time, so we chose Sian Kaan for future stays. We’ve been to SK about 10 times and absolutely agree the rooms need an upgrade! We’ll be back to Akumal next time...thanks for the room tour!🇨🇦

Who are considered luxury guests? is there air conditioning in the restaurants?
I’m not sure what you mean by luxury guests 🤔 yes they have AC in the restaurants 👍🏻
