We are all witnessing what it takes to climb to greatness. This endeavor with the Hell tour, racing the best, having a consultant on set ups and chassis ( Supermans old guy and Devin Morans guy ) is just another step. We are all competitive at heart or we would not go to the tracks or watch this content. A trait of ours is impatience. We also like to belly ache when things don't go our way!!!! Stay tuned.
If y'all don't like the way the Joiner's and Jesse are racing, quit watching. You find the positive and leave the negativity outside of the the track or better yet leave the negativity at home. These guys have worked their butts off and each rach they improve unless they had overheating issues or got caught in someone else's stupid mistake that took out more than 2 cars. They're getting better all the time but no body can be perfect every race. We need to send positivity and encouragement at every track because these guys started from scratch and they have come a long way in a short amount of time. After watching this event online, as well as the Eldora one, you guys have made amazing progress over the years but it definitely appears it's time to bring in a professional to be the crew chief that understands these chassis and the tracks. It's honorable to want to do it yourself but sometimes we need to humble ourselves and realize that we need outside help from the people who know these cars and tracks the best to be able to keep up with the frontrunners.

To suggest that somehow buy selling their merchandise that this makes them any less serious then any other race team proves that just because you have an opinion doesn't mean it needs to be shared.
Merch sales is necessary for traveling SLM teams . You haters have to realize that HTF is running against the very best in the business now , but I do agree it's time to hire a crew chief / team engineer

I love how so many people hate on htf. They travel to these tracks for the fans and to have fun and compete. Ive never seen them one time say they wanna run lucas or world of outlaws or chase something. They have fun the bring attention to the dirt world. Run and promote a full time series all while doing this on youtube and making sure they can go all over for people to meet them. If and or when the day comes they wanna chase those big events they will have a crww chief with them
Glad to see them running different tracks been a follower since the start and havent left yet. They will get it the risk is worth the reward sometimes. The sport is not a get rich sport this is a hobbie that they made full time. So what there company there life. Enjoy life at the fullest its just money u cant take it with u when u die. Good call pulling in I counted 7 cars pulled off track 5 before you did that tells me that was a good call saving equipment. Turn 3-4 looked bad good way to mess up cars always good to save a car and race another day the total a car and be out for a long period of time.
RTJ was a loser this day. Joiner could have squeezed a top 5 or so on a 50,000 to win race if he'd have just stayed out. Hell he would have gotten 4 more spots if he had waited 1 more lap to pull in.
@@petergoeman7814 Simply put yes if you're a driver owner and going to be racing multiple races in a short period of time yes I would. if I was just doing this race and heading home no I would have stayed until the race was finished or it broke. But common sense says park it a race another day.

Everyone saying you need a crew chief doesn’t understand that most top drivers make their own decisions on set ups it just takes time and experience which is what you are learning running good or bad you gotta race to learn keep it up
I noticed in a couple of shots in the feature when The 32 was behind you on the high side that his car barely moves over the bumps and yours was rocking pretty good in a bad way. Maybe a shock issue.
I would say Bobby runs a whole different a arm set up and shock set up, along with the springs and more than likely a different brand for a link under the rear of the car and probably even a difference in the tire pressures,, along with the rack and pinion and quick steer set up he has but they’re coming along with the program pretty well. I’ve also always looked at dirt racing like this even after having a couple or so late models myself over the years doing it just for fun, and late models most of the time and how well they do, is normally 65% of the results is the driver of the car
Yall can learn allot from the fast guys in car camera and or just video by seeing what their hands are doing where their at and of course attitude of the car from pics or vid..
Pre competition prayer or ritual is nothing new . For many years Stevie Waltrip (Darrell wife) put a post it note with a bible passage on Earnhardts cars dash . Right before the start of the race . Arnold Palmers wife told Johnny Carson that right before a tournament she would kiss his balls to which Carson replied " I bet that makes his putter stand on end" .
Theres 3 instant centers on the front of the car. All those need to be 1 inch on the left side of the car. Its geometry in the front that makes a car turn. When the front end turns correctly the rear is easy to correct.

I said before this vlog started I bet he doesn't finish the race he's got a bad habit of pulling off instead of getting the laps in. Joseoh is the king of pulling off for no reason other than to save equipment.
I was there and several smart drivers pulled off after a certain point. It's only a 1/4 mile track and why put more laps on your equipment or get in the water of the war going on. They are about to do hell week. He isnt going to learn more on the same setup that isnt working by staying on the track. Several cars got tore up in the end and these are the best of the best. Look at some of the names that pulled off.
It is not a habit, it is a smart business decision even tho it sucks for the fans. Thats what they were discussing right before the race so Joseph could make an informed decision to pull off or not.

It seems there's too much play in the rack or something. Once he gets on the straight he should be steering straight. It seems too that they can't get the push out of it.
It looks like the person who was reading the bump steer dial indicators has dyslexia. They may need to test their caster/camber gauge for accuracy. I found a digital gauge that was off a few months ago.

For those that keep saying, hire a crew chief, I am sure if they had 6 figures laying around they would. Its not just snap your fingers and you have you a top crew chief. We dont know how much they spend vs what they bring in but at the end of the day, these guys have families and mouths to feed. I am sure they want to win every race they can. Back when I raced asphalt late models, I would have loved to be able to hire someone. I couldnt afford to pay my help. I was lucky enough to have a few that would come to the race track with me. I am still friends with guys that run Legend Car shops. If you want to be competitive even in a Legend Car this day and age, bank on $1,000 a race. All for what? Bragging rights and trophy. You may win a couple of hundred depending on track. I cant imagine what these guys budgets are but they have to be spending a lot already. Sorry for the rant!
18 cars? thats IT? I miss the early 2000s when there were AT LEAST 20-30 big names in solid rides with solid recent resumes all winning enough money to be able to keep them rollin with one another across the country. now there is four and sometimes brandon sheppard. Thats why im grateful that HTF did something about it and started a series down south away from them where noone knows who is going to win from race to race.
Kubota sponsor them plenty im sure. plus patreon, merchandise, UA-cam, product sponsors they're making plenty enough money to get a crew chief / engineer on the team they would rather try to spend the money on something else or leave it in the bank

This is just my openion and my openion is just like a butt, every has one. When I first started watching you guys, you prayed before every race, it seemed like you guys really believed in what's on the back of your car. It dosent seem that way anymore. It seems like you guys got a ton of fame and the prayer and family atmosphere went out the window. I still watch and still wish you guys all the best.
Measure where upper controll arms are. Then measure where the lower controll are. That creats instant center. Should be toward the left. Instant center is where the car enters the dirt.
I think Feger has a guy who can set up the car. The guys not only making the big shows but contending for the win……… their car looks effortless to drive!!

Finding one a crew chief that knows what he's doing is the problem and that's not going to be cheap

This is just my openion and my openion is just like a butt, every has one. When I first started watching you guys, you prayed before every race, it seemed like you guys really believed in what's on the back of your car. It dosent seem that way anymore. It seems like you guys got a ton of fame and the prayer and family atmosphere went out the window. I still watch and still wish you guys all the best.
Measure where upper controll arms are. Then measure where the lower controll are. That creats instant center. Should be toward the left. Instant center is where the car enters the dirt.

@@tomgray5481 as I understand it, it has to do with the moment arm lengths front and rear on the car in relationship with center of mass and how those effect load changes at the tires as you cycle through lateral deceleration, side load constant and lateral acceleration

Both longhorns doing the same thing it can't be the cars. It's got to be the setup. Thats always been there problem since they went to the big boy class. They had a kick butt 604 program. Faithful is a Capitol and Jessie does pretty good. Just saying

The other drivers know if they crowd The jointer driver he will back Off every time. I have yet heard the driver say it was his fault he Didn’t finish good. If I was Kubota I would think it’s time for a different driver.
